ok, so.

i made a whole set up on my phone to be able to take notes while reading, and my plan was to send an ask with them before gathering my thoughts for a full organized review. but less than halfway through the chapter and i simply wasn't able to write a single thing anymore. i had planned on saying a lot, and as i went through the chapter my mind was spiraling, but by the end i was rendered speechless.

like. really.

everything was so intense, it took me three hours to read the chapter and i went to sleep by 4AM, cus i was like 🧍🏽‍♀️😶 in bed. the kitchen scene? i was so so tense, i had to stop reading several times to collect myself before continuing.

god, and the brother reveal? i loved it.

😮‍💨 i don't know, ryen, i really wanted to say a bunch of stuff because you're writing is ridiculously good. im currently majoring in languages and literature, which means that whenever im reading something i cant help but look for and analyze formal aspects and consciously or not you have an amazing control of discourse. your writing reflects the emotions you're describing in such delicate and sensitive ways, it's absurdly immersive and oh god. im rambling here but yeah.

i talk so much omg, i said i was speechless and this ask is enormous already.

anyway, my point: you're amazing. really one of my favorite authors. ever.

i loved forfeit and i was so so so touched by it. it was nerve-wracking in a delicous way, i cried, i laughed and, although i started trembling, i ended it with a ridiculous smile on my face.

Damn! 3 hours that really is a long time but you savored the hell out of this🥺 and taking breaks to just stare into the distance?? You literally mirrored my writing process huhuhu like I had to take multiple breaks, sometimes ones that would last a day or two. Because the nitty gritty took all of my brainpower to piece together and navigate.. imagining having all of those thoughts but in the same mind, while keeping in mind what they don’t know about each other.

Like. Be reader and go from Sundress Season straight into seeing Yoongi. There’s no context of Dal Segno so it’s jarring as fck😭 But we have all the Yoongi context too so it was definitely a balance. Hopefully i achieved what I wanted. Super happy about the writing feedback🤕 I was damn nervous about this chapter but this lifted my spirits so damn high. Those are wonderful thoughts and I dread how I’m gonna react seeing your review because I feel like I’m gonna end up a puddle of snot and tears😂🍊 Take your time but I know I’m already gonna read it over and over.

Of course you can send some notes now!! I’d love that actually🥳 Lastly, I’m glad you laughed. There’s angst yes but this is supposed to be a comfort chapter after everything🫂 Talk to me whenever I love making friends here oh gosh.. No need to be shy here at all :D

a/n: 🤕🤕 how dare you (sarcastic) i also didn’t actually watch the game so idk what happened when he got hurt so just go with it!

the moment you saw joe holding his knee you were out of your seat. the feeling was unreal, you couldn’t believe that this happened. standing there you watch until he’s standing up again and walking, very slowly, to the bench. it took everything you had not to rush down to him to see how he was doing. he’d been talking for weeks about how much he wanted to make it to the superbowl, and then when it actually happened? he was over the moon, unable to talk about much else.

seeing him get hurt like this was something you hadn’t expected and you were heartbroken for him not knowing if he would still be able to play. knowing that there wasn’t anything that you could do, you decided to just hope for the best. it was nerve-wracking, not being able to help him when thats all that you wanted to do.

your friend was sitting beside you when he went down, and knew that you were nervous to see what would happen next. she stood and grabs the sleeve of your jersey, joe’s jersey something you wore every game, whether you were watching in person or on the couch at home. “hey, he’ll be fine, looks like he’s heading back out now.”

you let out a breath, not realizing that you were holding it. squeezing your friends hand you murmur a thank you not taking your eyes off of joe. before he steps back onto the field he looks up at you and nods, letting you know he’s fine. then mouths a quick ‘love you.’ before walking onto the field and taking his spot.

8:35pm. The whole neighborhood was probably wondering why it was so silent in the Han household. There was no music, no laughing, just pure silence.

You stare at the album, nervously unwrapping the plastic that covered it. Jisung watches in anticipation, eyes glued to the album as he sat in front of you.

"Quickly!" He lets out a squeal which startled you.

"Calm your tits, Ji." You hush him. Carefully, you open the album with your shaking hands. Why was it so nerve wracking?

You've only gotten a single Jisung photocard from an album. One. Despite him not being your...bias– he is your fiancé.

"give me, I'll look." He sets his hands out, probably had enough of watching you shake over his album

You sigh, nodding. You hand the album over to him, eyes closed yet slightly peeking. You bite your lip, fingers crossed, "Please let it be Chan or Han..."

Han raised an eyebrow at you, "Why is Chan still a part of this." He pouts.

"He's my ult." You open your eyes to see him still pouting, "and you're my fiancé so I really hope I get your photocard! Now please look."

Jisung rolls his eyes, smiling anyway. You lean closer as he was about to pull the photocards, "Wait! I'll do it!!"

"Are you sure??" He slowly hands you the album. You nod, taking it from him.

You reach for the photocards, not looking at it. Slowly, you pull it out. You look at Ji, he was also waiting so you wasted no time and looked at who you got.

"Han Jisung!!" You squeal, "I got Han Jisung!!!" You jump in his arms.

Jisung grinned, catching you, "Finally!!" He laughs, "I'll tell Chan." That earned him a good slap on the back where he made sure to express his pain.

"Shut up. Take a picture of your pretty fianceé!!" You hold up his photocard next to your face, "You look so good here..."

"I always do?" He chuckled nervously, "no? Okay."

Jisung then proceeded to grab his phone to take pictures and brag about it to his friends. He took one with you, one where you were kissing his photocard, one where you're showing your ring finger next to it, and one with you kissing Jisung himself.

He smiled, pressing his lips against yours for a quick kiss then taking Hyunjin's photocard and running away with it, "I wonder how much we can sell this??!!"

You laugh, chasing him around until you both drop on the couch. Sprawled all over the brown covers with your arms wrap around him, snoring slightly.

Jisung posted your photos in his account then bragging to the 00' liners the picture where you kissed him.
