every time someone's drawn one of my characters it gets etched into my heart and mind and soul. like a fridge covered in children's drawings. forever <3

All day bb had been busy, getting things ready for ..well somthing, he wouldn't tell artem until it was time apparently, the kitchen was off limits as well but it smelled good so somthing was being made

Artems a bit confused by his behavior but the events of the day quickly distracted them and swept them away.

They went to a department store to report transphobic employees on their daughters behalf, and when they return Claire and Jonna seemed to be having an argument that Dia also seemed to be on the periphery of…, by the time Artem was able to finish the chapter on conflict resolution, deescalation techniques, and some suggestions on how to meditate a conversation, the situation had had a somewhat positive resolution already.

Which the book did suggest is a common result in the majority of sibling arguments…. Still made them feel like a bad parent that they didn’t know how to act and by the time they knew it was too late

They add notes from the research to their parenting cork board. So they can be ready next time.

They still can’t shake the feeling they’re forgetting something though…

I want you to know that as an artist myself and autistic man, I associate art styles with like. different food types and your art reminds me so fucking much of those jelly stars sometimes put in drinks. Just something about it makes me wanna bite into it. I mean all of this positively ofc but it's driving me fucking insane. I can't post a picture of it but i am. too fucking scared to go off anon but iirc they're made of coconut jelly. it's the multicolored ones sometimes put in drinks.

Finally got back to the house where I've been staying for grad school (after an extended absence for visiting family and field work) and of course my roommates decided to take over my parts of the fridge and freezer and didn't bother asking about when they needed to clear it out. Naturally.

...who wants to bet that they'll assume that the task of taking out the trash will go straight back to me now that I'm back, even though it's absolutely supposed to be shared among everyone and I had no part in making the trash currently in the can?
