for real though i don't know how i'm going to survive iski. like you don't understand i've been a starkid fan since their most recent show was a very potter sequel. when i was 14 i walked to and from school with the avpm & avps soundtracks on loop and dreamed what felt like a hopeless little dream, that someday i would be able to see them live. starkid gave me so much hope and joy and inspiration and windows into friendships in a time when my mental health was by far the lowest it's ever been. i am 28 now and it's happening in 15 days. holy shit holy shit holy fucking shit fucking holy fucking shit. literally what am i supposed to do with myself

Soooo, about the "It's Starkid innit?" matinee in London...

I was supposed to go with a dear friend of mine. Unfortunately, she won't be able to go (😭), mainly due to work not letting her off that weekend 🙃.

Meaning that I have 1 (one) extra ticket for the matinee. 🎟

It is a seat in the stalls, row R. I decided to check on here if someone would want to buy it (unfortunately can't give it for free as I do need the money back, so please do not ask).

A sort of tumblrina to tumblrina kind of thing, my small giving back gesture to the tumblr Starkid community who was so welcoming to me all those years ago.  💜

If you are interested, please do manifest it in my DMs.

As I'm not at home, meaning anywhere near my computer, until Sunday's evening (Feb. 25th, let's say 7pm~ish, France time zone), I will not sell it until then. Don't worry if I don't answer until then and please don't ask me several times about it, it will get you off the list if there is one.

Just putting this out there now so there is more time for you lovelies to find this post and react to it.

If more than one person reaches out to me, I will literally put your handles in a bowl and pick one of them, not playing faves here as I don't want to be the judge of anything. Please don't contact me from several accounts, play it fair. 😇

The payment will be through PayPal or we can agree to a person-to-person ticket selling platform.

If through PayPal, I can send you the ticket or give it to you on the day (yay to meeting a fellow Dikrats), your choice. It just will be done after payment as, once again, I do need to make sure to get the money back (struggling french artist who is making unreasonable financial decisions for what seems their only chance to see their idols live after what will be the 15th year in the waiting speaking here).

Small tip for anyone making bracelets for StarKid Innit :)

If your elastic feels weak or seems to snap, invest in some fabric elastic (depending on your bead size).

It's basically like a really thin hairband (around 1-2mm thick) and is so so much sturdier than the clear elastic. You can get it online or in craft stores.

My girlfriend (who I got this from, so I thought I ought to share) has made me many bracelets with this kind and none of them have snapped at all, no matter how far they stretch. I promise you it's worthwhile if you want that extra security for your bracelet.

I'm Going to the Starkid London Concert!!!!!

I'm selling a ticket to the It's Starkid Innit? afternoon show (12th may, London Palladium, starts at 2:30)!!

unfortunately personal circumstances mean i'm unable to go, but i'd love for someone else who wasn't able to get a ticket before to go and have an amazing time in my place.

it's in the back row of the circle, making it one of the cheapest tickets at £29.50 (the ticket website adds a small fee on top, but imo it's still more than worth it to see starkid)

what has you ‘hmmm’ about it’s starkid innit?

I've noticed the concerts StarKid does - Innit included - seem to focus heavily on what I call "Old StarKid" (AKA pre-Hatchetfield). I'm glad to see so much of that crew still involved especially since some don't live in LA. But it does kind of feel like there hasn't been a lot of mixing of Old StarKid and "New StarKid" when it comes to projects for some reason. Either a show is heavily Old StarKid or heavily New StarKid without a lot of overlap, and I know that's largely because of who's running each project but I've noticed there's already a sort of fandom divide about Old StarKid vs. New StarKid and this kind of contributes to that. (Also stuff like the Hatchetfield songs and presumably Cinderella's Castle would be awesome in concert!)

Basically I wanna see them mix it up a bit more. Do a tour with some OGs and Hatchetfield folks (I know people would have to learn each other's songs but getting different takes on different numbers could be really fun for the audience). When VHS Christmas Carol(s) needs to fill a spot, grab one of the newer people (they did grab Curt and Kim which was cool but I feel like they kinda bridge the gap in a way). Have Clark do the music for a Lang show. Also I'd love to see people we haven't seen in awhile back for something like Cinderella's Castle like they used to fly people out to Chicago to do when the shows were happening there, but I know the logistics of that can be tough so I'm not expecting it.

Hey my fellow Starkid fans! I finally got time to put up for sale my extra ticket for the "It's Starkid innit?" Matinee here. It's a Stalls ticket.

Please notice that it's at £85 as I'm selling at it's original face-value (£74.50) but Twickets adds on fees.

My friend and I met randomly 12 years ago and literally became friends because of them, as I was wearing merch and she approached me because of it.

I have been a fan since '09.

And now we're gonna go up to London and actually see them?
