when you got into his face this time he was super stoic and looked like he didn’t really care and that you were kind of a nuisance and butting in on his fun

you can see that jaemin looks a little uncomfortable in this situation so you decide to drop it, but you give him a final and gentle warning

after this you are just super annoyed with yukhei

he doesn’t even seem to care about your discomfort and annoyance towards him and brushes it off super casually

even when you refuse to call him lucas and always refer to him a yukhei because no, you’re not playing games with him and where did lucas even come from

you constantly direct the dreamies away from him when you’re hanging out with them 

you could be heading for a certain destination but when you see him turning the corner you nope out of there and take a much longer route

it isn’t until jungwoo pulls you over one day to talk to you about yukhei

at first you’re really reluctant because you suspect that he’s using jungwoo to relay a message to you

most often like how he basically recruited you as his messenger to tell messages to the dreamies

they don’t really have to ask anyways when they see the angered look on your face and clenching of teeth

‘oh, lucas wants to play video games with us again’

but back to jungwoo

he’s softly grabbing your shoulders and speaking in a really serious tone

and for a second you’re concerned if something happened, like sure you didn’t like the guy but you weren’t that heartless and wished pain upon yukhei

he actually lets you walk about

but he also walks away to, just at your side

his gangly legs manage to keep up with you no matter how fast you’re walking

and for once he’s not making some random comment to you and keeping quite a distance from you while still walking by your side

regardless, you’re kind of weirded out and have all sorts of questions

he doesn’t interrupt you and lets you start off first

instead of some witty remark, yukhei just smiles brightly at you and answers you normally

‘i’m walking with you!’ you would have thought this was really cute if you weren’t so weirded out by this sudden personality change (or realization in your case)
