what the fuck is my package doing
#i know this is such a first world thing to complain about but like#i wanted to get something nice for myself for new years#so i got it from dijon and the seller was kind enough to send it on the same day so ostensibly it would arrive at my place in two days#or even just one day if it were via the post tbh#dijon is not far from here#except it went to the other fucking side of the country and has not moved since for like a week#i finally got an update tonight and it's like... thirty kilometers north from where it was for a week...#and my main gripe isn't even with the delivery company#it's with myself because whenever i expect a package my brain goes into waiting mode which means it will do nothing for hours/days on end#because we need to be ready to receive pakidge#(due to unfortunate experiences in the past where the delivery person would hand it off to someone else and say they delivered it)#so now i'm always waiting and vigilant so as not to get my shit stolen yet again#this is stupid#its 2 AM and obviously it's not coming this night#AND it's on the other fucking side of the country#i should sleep
