hmmmmmmmm idk i didn't think the la atla teaser was very cinematic. the dialogue overlay wasn't very stand-out and they used a weird montage of clips side by side. hopefully the actual trailer has better direction and vision bc this wasn't it

#also silly thing to nitpick but #i knew going into this who played katara and sokka but seeing them #in the snow/ice landscapes of the southern water tribe rly #highlighted jus how /pale/ they both are which is jarring #it certainly is going to be smth to get used to #also still have my doubts abt it bc considering bryke quit early on #idk how what they changed or added will add to the storyline overall y'know?#nothing will ever top the cartoon and ik they have insane budget for this but #smth made bryke leave at the same time and start avatar studios #ive been cautiously invested to see where this goes but im still not committing 100%#atla #edit bc i jus remembered - seeing azula w her hair down was SO jarring
