NYE Activities: I did end-of-the-year wrestling brackets with friends (and had an absolute breakdown over being forced to choose between Rey and Rhea in the quarterfinals, only to have another when my final round was JD vs Dom), had a nice dinner, and then went to bed early. It was perfect. But yeah, I stayed home.

Tattoos: I have two! I have my Arya Stark tattoo on my left arm with "profundius metus secat" (fear cuts deeper) on it, and a wolf on my shoulder that needs to be covered up (I'm thinking an Ouija board planchette and some crystals or mushrooms or something). I'm planning to get Captain Phasma's blaster rifle with "my skill is death" on my right arm and something Death and the Maiden inspired on my leg.

Top City to Visit: I have yet to make it to New Orleans. There are also a couple spots in Ireland, Germany, and Denmark that I'd like to see, but I feel like I need to check off all the stuff on my domestic travel list first.

Edge or HHH: To quote Janet Weiss: "I don't like men with too many muscles", so I'm gonna have to choose Edge. Also, Paul looks like Kratos, and Adam looks like Mimir; so there's a difference, even if it is minuscule.

Cody Rhodes' Hair: I think the bleach-blond works with his current schtick, but he literally always makes me think of Nutcracker Barbie's Ken, and that would be even worse if he had brown hair again.

Jade Cargill's WWE Presence: She's got people talking, and that's more than I can say for a lot of people currently on the roster. I will always give folks credit for that. Beyond that, eh. I have no strong opinions one way or another.

fantasy intergender AEW matchup

Because I’m a bit salty at AEW for not doing those, here’s some fun ideas from myself and friends. 

Ruby Soho vs. Sonny Kiss (winner Sonny) LET’S SET UP A TAG TEAM I wanna see the two of them as a team from a match that shows mutual respect and fascination. Plus their style vibes FUCK YEAH.

Darby Allin vs. Riho (winner Riho). Friend pitched this as “Darby would sell Riho’s knees like he’d been gored with a shotgun” and I agree would be very fun. Plus it’d be fun to see Allin facing off with someone smaller than him so the commentary can’t coast on that. 

Kris Statlander vs. Orange Cassidy (winner OC). I wanna see Kris fight him to amp him up for something or other and then him finally pull out of his slump to go for the win. It’d just be fun also to see her throw him around. 

Hikaru Shida vs. Miro (winner Shida) They have a vibe that’s fun to imagine them facing off-- something about Shida’s grace and strength vs. Miro’s “street fighter character irl” would be so fun. I wanna see her pull off some cool shit to win this one

Red Velvet & Kilynn King &  Marko Stunt & Luchasaurus I don’t really mind who wins here just think it would be a fun matchup! tol & smol vs. tol & smol!

Adam Cole vs. Britt Baker (winner Britt) GOD I HAVE BEEN GUNNING FOR THIS ONE SINCE Adam got into AEW. The setup is Adam bullies Tony Shiavone into a match with him and SURPRISE he has to fight Britt Baker. Has to be goaded into fighting his Girl but eventually gives it his all and DMD still kicks his Ass. Fuck Yeah. 

Jade Cargill & Nyla Rose vs. The Young Bucks (winner Bucks) for much, much longer down the road when Jade is a more ace wrestler and the Bucks aren’t so much the main characters of AEW, this would be really fun. Big sexy lady running circles around the dudes, plus just a very fun style vs. style match. The YBs are an iconic tag team so I think they’d win but this would be really fun to see.

I dont mean to compare them to Trish Stratus and Lita because these are women in their own right in name and image. But Jade Cargill and Red Velvet could potentially make a great feud like Trish and Lita. And I'll do you one even better. The potential to be an historical feud like The Miz and Daniel Bryan. Just need em to work on promos and mic skills some more.

I would love to see two black women in an iconic feud.
