fuck it my unsolicited thoughts on the cat/ned/jaime/cersei non-canon couplings: could they fix each other?

ned x jaime: yes. ned would give jaime a honour boner so massive he would be compelled to become an actual human being (similar to what happened after brienne beat the shit out of him in asos). idk what ned would get from the exchange but I don't think jaime could make him worse. the problem is they are both bottoms so idk how the relationship would actually work 🤷‍♀️

jaime x cat: kinda. cat would use jaime as her personal attack dog but she would also keep him on a tight leash so no more pushing kids out the window (unless they deserve it). cat tops.

cat x cersei: NO. THE most toxic, dangerous, sexy yuri in all of westeros. they would make each other SO MUCH WORSE. cersei would validate every single violent impulse catelyn has ever had and in turn cat would make cersei actually competent (really dangerous!). if those 2 were ever on the same side of a conflict there would be no stopping them. unless cersei got on her nerves and cat had to kill her after 2 weeks idk. they both fight for dominance but cat tops.

cersei x ned just ends with ned having to behead cersei with ice after she smothered baby jon in the crib and tried to pin it on maester luwin. cersei tops.

“and gag him” got me thinking about jaimecat again but specifically in the context of canon jaimecat with past married nedcat where they get married for reasons idgaf about right now (as insurance when cat frees jaime to bring home arya and sansa maybe idk… it’s been too long since i watched the show) and jaime becomes a horrible stepdad to the starklings in addition to the three kids he’s already a horrible uncledad to <3

could be a modern au as well because modern westeros has a certain je ne said quoi but i think jaimecat should get married in canonverse because it would suck way more and they would both hate it

Following the last early anon, what do you think would have been the perfect match for Jaime according to Joanna, having ruled out Elia?

I imagine she would’ve been happy with Lysa?? or in a world where they were available for the match, Catelyn or Lyanna. maybe she’d also have been find with marrying Jaime to a girl of a lesser westerlands house idk, but my impression of Joanna is that she’s ambitious enough that she’d have wanted him betrothed to the daughter of a greathouse

I think about brienne x jaime x cat on a daily basis.

I think that something went down in that cage when jaime was a stark captive before he went off with brienne to KL.

Then many chapters later, cat (stoneheart) told brienne to go and find jaime and bring him to her, so that the three of them could run away together in their little threesome.

seriously when I first started reading asoiaf i really wasn't expecting the only couples I'd get invested in would be the most popular ship in the fandom (which happens to be a blond on blonde HETEROSEXUAL beauty and the beast enemies to lovers ass couple) and the toxic old men yaoi where the men aren't even that old but I caught myself GIGGLING at both braime and stavos while reading asos that's never happened before

there's something to be said about jaime basically haunting the catelyn chapters in acok without showing up till the very end which is really good but it does just make it seem like cat wants to fuck him so bad. just so bad
