A very silly thing about me is that one of the reasons I love RQG Wilde so much is because he is everything I always hoped Jaskier to be (and he never was) in the Netflix show (as someone who didn't read the books yet).

Yes, he is an annoying manwhore of a bard but he is also a deeply competent spy with emotions, emotional struggles AND characther development? And and and he is in a QPR with the grumpy guy that first disliked him and who later became his bff? And like assuming he wrote everything the cannon Wilde did Cecily Cardew is by herself at least equal to Jaskier cannon bang songs.

That's to say I had so many hopes for Jaskier and I still like him and think his actor did a great job but the show just kept disapointing me with questionable storylines. That's also to say that I do put two bad bitches against each other. And the last point is that Jalexander did a great job with his totally original really never seem before victorian irish writer.
