Pois é, nem tudo na vida são flores. Segundo o The Hollywood Reporter, além do live-action de Branca de Neve, a Disney também adiou seu o próximo filme animado da Pixar.

Enquanto Branca de Neve foi de 22 de março de 2024 para 21 de março de 2025, a animação Elio, que estrearia no dia de 1º de março de 2024, foi para o dia 13 de junho de 2025. Um grande motivo para adiamento é a greve dos atores, que já passou de cem dias de duração.

Na animação veremos quando Elio, menino que dá nome a produção, é abduzido por engano como o líder da Terra e apresentado ao Comuniverso – uma organização interplanetária com representantes de galáxias distantes. Já com os líderes, Elio precisará criar laços, sobreviver a uma série de provações e descobrir sua próxima identidade.

“Por séculos, as pessoas olharam para o universo em busca de respostas – no novo filme da Disney e Pixar, ‘Elio’, o universo responde! Elio precisa formar laços com excêntricas formas de vida alienígenas, sobreviver a uma série de testes formidáveis e de alguma forma descobrir quem deve ser.”

O elenco conta com Jameela Jamil, Brad Garrett, America Ferrera e Yonas Kibreab. Já a direção é assinada por Adrian Molina, roteirista e codiretor de Viva – A Vida é uma Festa.
