TV ANIMATION: Amaya (The Dragon Prince) - Deaf

Amaya is a warm, caring, and strong woman who deeply cares about her family and is willing to fight to protect them.

She is also incredibly loyal to her late older sister, Sarai, acting as a mother-like figure to Callum and Ezran in Sarai's place, placing their safety and well being above all else.

She is Deaf and communicates through sign language. Her close friend and trusted lieutenant Gren is her primary sign language interpreter.

In battle, Amaya is immensely strong and brutal, often using her shield as a sort of battering ram to deliver blunt attacks to her foes.

According to Sarai, Amaya's deafness is part of why she has a stronger awareness and strategic sense than any other general.

Consequently, her fighting style can be somewhat destructive, as she leveled an entire game room in the process of fighting and subduing Rayla. Her fighting prowess is on par with that of Janai, her future wife, a Sunfire Elf knight renowned for her ferocity in combat. [wiki]

Summary: As far as the internet is concerned, Catra is a bitter ex-writer who can’t handle her old cast’s success, and the cast is doing their best to act like they have amnesia when questioned about her. It’s a shock when they all end up as the main celebrity line-up at a first-year con, and even more of a shock when people start arriving and see the state of the convention. No one could have predicted it would be bad enough to get them on speaking terms. (Or, the Catradora nightmare convention AU, as told the same way most of us experienced Dashcon: through the internet)

Summary: Deborah has betrayed Ava. Ava is blackmailing Deborah. Now, they are working together again, acting for all the world to see as if nothing ever happened... but can their personal relationship recover from their past, and perhaps even grow into something stronger?
