THE BEAUTY AND THE JANGSAN TIGER

On a sunny Day the beautiful woman was getting ready to go hiking on the Jangsan Mountain, located in Busan. An old Urban Legend said there would be a beast wandering around there,but she didnt believe into such rubbish.

As she finally got everything thats needed she drove in her red porsche to the location,soon after she parked the car she went out stroking through her long hair while getting her backpack. Little did she knew someone was watching her through the nearby forest.

Soon she was hiking up the mountain,wiping her sweat as she decided to taking a rest. She sat on a bench while suddenly she felt as someone is watching her. And she was right,as she turned around there stood a young man a little younger than her wearing old fashioned clothes.

He just was staring at her as she got slightly annoyed and asked if he was hungry and wanted some of her sandwich she brought along. That stunned the young male as he wasnt aware a human being friendly to him as he sat beside her and took her Offer.

They got along so well,and for the first time both of them believed into Love at first sight. Soon the night came and she needed to go home. The young male watched her leave,but little did she knew he transformed into the Jangsan Tiger and ran after her scent she left behind.

She was already infront her Apartment,ready to go inside as someone suddenly held her wrist and pulled her around. With big eyes she saw three Men surrounding her with lustful eyes. She tried to free herself and screamed for help,nothing happened. "Thats the End" she thought.

As she already lost hope suddenly a white furred Beast attacked the three Men and made them run away. She stepped back shocked as she locked eyes with the Beast,but then something happened she didnt expect,it turned into Humanform,and there stood the young male from earlier. Looking at her with teary eyes,knowing she would fear or even hate him now.

But to his surprise she ran towards him and before he knew what happened she stood on her tiptoes and placed her soft lips against his. He replied right away and they shared a passionate Kiss. And thats how they both knew that they loved eachother.

Legends say that the Beauty and the Jangsan Tiger moved into a cottage in the woods near Jangsan Mountains and lived there happily ever after.

If anyone remembers… last year I made a list of 31 movies to watch throughout the Halloween season, and continuing with this tradition I have 31 more for us all to enjoy! Hehe. I just watched The Cannibal in the Jungle.

Parts of it were kinda gruesome, but overall, it was really good.

I especially like the part where the Ebu Gogo were mimicking their victims’ voices. Having something mimic a human voice to draw people in is a really good trope.

In fact, it reminds me of this guy right here.

Creepy Trailer For The Korean Horror Thriller THE MIMIC is Based on The Jangsan Tiger Urban Legend

I've got a creepy trailer here for you to watch for a new Korean horror film called The Mimic. I actually enjoy watching Korean films because of how freaky crazy they can get! This film is inspired by the South Korean urban legend of the Jangsan Tiger, which seems like something that would terrify people. Here's the synopsis that was released:

The Jangsan Tiger, who mimics human voices to lure them close, encounters a family affected by the creature. A classic Korean ghost story gets a horrifying new spin in The Mimic, as the mother of a missing child takes in a lost girl she finds in the woods and soon begins to wonder if she is even human. 

You never want to take in a creepy stray girl that you find wandering around in the woods! That's just asking for trouble! The movie looks like something I'd enjoy, though. You can watch the trailer below for yourself and let us know what you think. 

The Mimic was written and directed by Korean filmmaker Huh Jung, who also directed the horror film Hide and Seek. The movie is set to be released in select US theaters starting June 12th.

"If you see the girl, it mean it's nearby." Well Go has released a new official US trailer for a psychological horror film from Korea titled The Mimic. This is the latest feature made by director Huh Jung (Hide and Seek) and it plays with a twisted ghost story concept based on Korean folk lore. The story follows a family that takes in a lost girl they find in the woods, but she doesn't seem to even be human. It's based on the idea of the Jangsan Tiger, who mimics human voices to lure them close. The Mimic stars Yum Jung-Ah, Park Hyuk-Kwon, Heo Jin, Lee Jun Hyeok, and Shin Rin-Ah. This does look eerie and somewhat creepy, but this trailer doesn't make it very clear where it's all going. Is there really a monster, or is it just the girl? ›››
