Hi Pia! Out of curiosity, will we see Nate meeting Arden at some point in the future?

Prooooobably not? (Of the big list of things I've thought about writing, that one doesn't really ping my interest metre on a super high level mostly because as a stand-alone it wouldn't be very satisfying and I don't want to write a long Nate-fic right now).

(Also technically Arden and Nate have met in the canon, just from a distance, lol).

Mostly I think Arden would just be extremely protective of Efnisien around Nate. So any kind of 'is Arden okay' vibes would get completely snowed under the 'so, I heard you've been talking shit about my boyfriend.'

I don't think it'd go super well. It's not like Arden is a soft woob for Nate to protect, and I think he'd be triggered by Arden's protective vibes overall, because Christian used to demand that Nate be protective of him in public, so he'd think even more that Arden might be abused, while also feeling very unsure of himself.

Basically it wouldn't go great. I think Janusz would be stuck playing mediator and then get tired of it, say so, and call the meeting off. Because unlike Nate he does have pretty good boundaries, and he's not interested in watching his boyfriend feel cornered and triggered just because he's got a PTSD need to make sure Arden's not being abused.
