This afternoon’s #teatime situation at @aoyamaflowermarket_teahouse... Sister almost directed us the wrong way. She’s actually never been to this tea house so we queued for a bit, and got ourselves a bench seat facing the wall of luscious vines 🌿🌿🌿... This season, the teahouse has been filled with many many vivid pink roses, and when it came to order my drink, I decided to elevate my visual sensory by ordering a vial of hot rose tea. Just seeing and smelling the scent of rose, was a beautiful treat to cool myself down on a rather warm Spring time in Tokyo. 🌹😌🌹🌹 and i’m glad that my brother and sister liked the place. Pity my mom’s too tired to come with us as she decided to nap at the hotel to rest... #todayihad #whatidrink #teafortwo #aoyamaflowermarketteahouse #aoyamaflowermarket #aoyamatokyo #whenintokyo florist #japaneseteahouse #springintokyo #pinkroses #pinkrosesaremyfavorite #prettyinpink #🌹 #japaneseflorist #rosetea #acuppatea #🍵 #todayihadintokyo #tokyocafe #springtime #familytrip #bondingwithmysiblings #familytime #japanhour #teatimeinstyle #teatimeismetime #smelltheflowers #sweetroses (at Aoyama Flower Market 南青山本店)

Japan Hour
Can’t travel? Watch this and follow them traveling on the lesser known part of Japan, especially in rural areas where they learn from the locals of the best place to visit in their respective hometowns and the challenges they face in traveling and exploring these areas which are unfamiliar to them.
Each episode stars different hosts going to different places as they explore the sights and wonder of local delights not known to many, not only outside of Japan but within Japan itself, like those from the big cities of Tokyo and Osaka. And join them as they learn the history, culture and lifestyle of these places.
Unlike NHK, the hosts are Japanese are thus speak Japanese but with English subtitles. And while NHK stores pretty much most of its videos on its page, you can only watch one episode per week for this show, as a new episode will replace the previous one each week.
So if you miss this week’s episode, you will not be able to watch it at all. Been searching for past episodes on You Tube but they’re kind of hard to find. Nonetheless, it’s an interesting show as NHK tries to show it from the foreign perspective of Japan while this shows it from the local perspective of Japan.
