Maximoのデバッグおよびユニット・テスト環境をDockerを使って構築する

MaximoのカスタムJavaクラスの開発を行う際に、正攻法としてはclassファイルをコンパイルしmaximo.earファイルを再デプロイする必要が生じます。しかし、特にWebSphereですが、再デプロイには数十分から1時間程度かかることがあるためどうにか素早い開発を可能にできないか試行錯誤することになります。一つの方法としては再デプロイを高速化する方法があります（参考）。デプロイにうまくいかない方法があることと、開発中はIDEから出たくないこともあり、別の方法で環境を構築してみたいと思います。

環境ですが、ローカル環境でDb2を動かしつつMaximo サーバー(MXServer)をIDE (eclipse)内で動かすようにします。これでJUnitなどでカスタムJavaクラスのデバッグ、テストを行います。

必要なのはEclipse IDE for Java EE developers と Docker for Win/Mac/Linuxです。今回はWindows環境において詳細にステップを解説します。

まずはMaximo on Dockerを構築します。こちらに従ってセットアップを完了して下さい。最近、build.shというビルドを自動化するスクリプトができましたので、構築が非常に簡単になっています。

構築後のdockerコマンドでは以下のようになります。

次にdocker イメージより必要なファイルのコピーを行います。

コピーしたファイルを展開します。earの実体はzipなのでリネームするか7-zipなどを使って展開できると思います。展開後のディレクトリは

次にEclipse環境の構築を行います。任意の場所のworkspaceを開きます。

Eclipse MarketplaceよりWebSphere Libertyの開発環境を導入します。

WebSphere traditionalでもかまいませんがより効果は同じなのでより軽量な方を選ぶと良いと思います。

導入後、サーバー・インスタンスを追加します。Java EEパースペクティブを開き”No servers are available. Click this link to create a new server...”をクリックします。

IBM -> Liberty Serverを選択して次へ進みます。

Libertyサーバーがローカルに導入されていない場合は”Install from an archive or a repository“を選択して次へ進みます。

“WAS Liberty with Java EE 8 Web Profile ....“を選択します。主導で導入する場合でもJava EE 7 WebProfile以上を選択して下さい。

用途に合わせて適切なオプションを選択出してください。

ライセンスをacceptし、サーバー作成画面に映ります。Finishをクリックして完了です。

サーバーのFeature Managerを開きappSecurityとjavaMailを追加してください。”Add Features”に項目が無い場合は”Install additional features...“からインストールできます。

次にWeb Projectを作成します。

EAR membershipは不要なのでチェックを外し完了します。

以下のようにDockerからコピーしたファイルを配置します。必要なファイルはbusinessobjects.jar, properties.jar, lib/*.jarです。またこちらからjarファイルのコピーも行います。さらにこちらからzipファイルをダウンロードし、その中にあるcom.ibm.ws.logging_*.jarファイルもlibにコピーします。

ビルドパスにlibにいれたファイルを追加します。

次に目標となるカスタムJavaファイルを作成します。以下のファイルを作成したプロジェクトに配置します。

「資産」の属性にカスタムJavaクラスを設定します。この時点でクラス・ファイルがサーバーにデプロイされている必要はありません。ですが、こちらのサーバー経由でアクセスしてもクラスがないのでエラーになりますので注意が必要です。

JUnitのテストケースを実装します。MXServerクラスを直接起動することによってアプリケーション・サーバーを介さずともプログラムを実行することができます。Dockerなので必要があれば再構築することも簡単にできます。

When JavaMail Meets Groovy Templates

#ICYDK: In this quick article, we are going to see how to use the JavaMail API to send via an outgoing SMTP server, an HTML email generated with the Apache Groovy Templates module in a Java SE application.
