CONFESSION:
I would have paid for a dlc where we got to play Scout Harding and all we did was save Bram Kenric.

Scholars in Thedas had to be losing their mind. Like imagine being the bitch who's spent decades studying Tyrdda Bright-Axe only for The Inquisition to swoop in and not only find her "axe" but discover it's actually a staff and there was a mistranslation. Then for the Inquistor themself to use this ancient staff in combat that's if they didn't just pawn it because they already had better weapons.
Like Brother Genitivi alone is probs still having an existential crisis about The Temple of Sacred Ashes getting blown up only a decade after they found the place, by an ancient darkspawn magister that possibly started the blights no less.
Bram Kenric probably has the most legendary dissertation in the history of the University of Orlais. If not all of Thedas. Dude just stumbles upon like seven history changes things before we even get to Ameridan being an Elvan mage who's still fucking alive.
Federic of Serault probs has The Inquisitor mentioned like half a dozen times at least for their aid in his study of The Western Approach.
That's not even getting into the Well of Sorrows. Fucking Flemeth being Mythal. Or the fact that The Inquisitor is besties (or lovers) with Fen'Harel.
The Inquisition isn't even just making history by fighting an ancient darkspawn. They're like doing actual research and disrupting preestablished ideas of history like every five minutes.
Like Andraste. This Shit is Weird doesn't even begin to cover the absolute insanity that has to be academia in Thedas during Inquisition. The University of Orlais is probably still losing their minds dealing with all the batshit history changing discoveries. of the last two decades.

Dorian: For hating the outdoors, you really do seem to like bad weather.
Sera: What's that now?
Dorian: The other day. You were outside in the rain staring up with a grin on your face.
Sera: I smile at clouds.
Dorian: Of course you do.
Sera: What, I should hunch and swear at the rain pissin' off my nose? Let the weather win?
Sera: I smile the frig out of clouds. Maybe they get tired of trying.

You know I feel like there’s some significance to the fact that if you bring Solas for the Jaws of Hakkon DLC he seems to reeeally really like the Avvar. Which is noteworthy because he otherwise isn’t a fan of humans.
He also—as usual—knows an uncanny amount about this weird ancient ritual otherwise known only to The Avvar.
Also If you stay and watch the elder lady make an offering to The Spirits, Solas approves.
Avvar happen to worship Spirits and believe that their gods can be called into the body of animals and made to fight wars, which seems…eerily familiar.
Idk where I’m totally going with this but it’s going somewhere I swear to god.

I did the jaws of Hakkon dlc (accidentally skipped it my first playthrough) and the comparisons between solavellan and the old inquisitior and his partner are too much.

CONFESSION:
By now we probably all know what happens, when Storvacker the bear is recruited into the Inquisition. I read through the wartable quest again today and laughed to hard at the Avaar mentioning to Cullen that Storvacker thinks of him as a cub with mange. Am I really the only one who is expanding on the thought? As in Storvacker worrying about Cullen when he is sick from Lyrium withdrawal, because she really thinks of him as her baby? Just imagine that bear pushing him towards his bed. Or a romanced Cullen trying to rest in the Inquisitors chambers, while he has chills, and Storvacker coming in and keeping him warm?
It would require that bear casually strutting around Skyhold, but ever since the Recruitment of Storvacker, the Inquisition is proven to be a Madhouse anyways. :)))

okay btw can we talk about how utterly insane the Hakkon Wintersbreath reveal actually is in the Jaws of Hakkon?? bc. like yeah we talk about ‘haha the andrastians are wrong and there are other gods’ w the Evanuris but i feel like y’all are really overlooking the Avvar here???
like. they worship fade spirits. the most powerful of them are their gods. these gods can manifest physically by taking the form of/possessing other living entities. why do i feel like i’ve heard this one before…? 🤔🤔
oh yeah!! bc that’s exactly like the Evanuris 🫠
