unpopular opinions ; teen wolf

•issac lahey deserved the world and i’m so pissed at jeff davis for just getting rid of issac after season 3, and never letting us get any closure. we never even hear issacs name mentioned after season 3 istg

• sterek is not real, and i think it’s weird shipping a minor and an adult that have not had any chemistry since season 2. sorry.

• stydia is the best slowburn ship i have ever seen in a tv show. but once again, i’m pissed at jeff davis for not letting us get any closure with them and we have waited 6 seasons to see them get together just to have barley 3 episodes of them being a couple. wtf

• honestly, love allison but she didn’t bring that much to the pack and i think it was good to have her die in season 3b. i feel like it helped scott mature more as a person, and as an alpha, and helped lydia mature more. but her death RUINED ME when i first watched it. also stop asking for her to come back in season 7, if we get one. there’s no possible way for allison to come back, she died 3 seasons ago. i miss her too, but i don’t think she’s coming back.

• scott was super annoying in the first 3 seasons but i feel like after season 4, and having liam be apart of his pack, he became a better alpha/person.

•theo raeken showed the best character development over any of the other teen wolf characters idc

• HAYDEN WAS SUCH A USELESS AND POINTLESS CHARACTER she never even used her powers, and she literally use to be a chimera. all she did was make out with liam, and u can really tell how hard jeff davis was trying to make layden the new scallison.

• i truly do not believe there is a better/cooler antagonist, bc all of them had their own features and characteristics that make them unique from the other ones. the only antagonist i didn’t like was kate, in season 4, but i also didn’t hate that they did a plot twist in the series.

•the worst season is season 5, it was so slow moving and it seems like it was just the season for disaster. it was sooo hard to watch the first time i saw it.

•teen wolf made all of season 3 so good that i thought it was impossible to make a season that good until i saw season 6a, and no one ever talks abt how good season 6a is but 6b IS TERRIBLE. it seems like they just tried their hardest to bring back every character they could, and it was so cliche to have gerard be one of the antagonist once again. they should’ve killed him off a while ago.

•malia is probably one of the most annoying characters. i only really liked her in season 3b and 4. she was terrible in season 5. ik her whole thing is that she was a coyote for like 8 years of her life, and she needed to readapt to being human, but why did all of her bad mannerisms come back in season 5? i get why they came back in season 6a, bc stiles was erased, but in season 5 she just annoys the hell out of me.

•this really isn’t unpopular but dylan o’brien’s acting in season 3 was SO GOOD and i feel like it really helped him jumpstart his acting career fully
