When I was writing the Fortnight music video, I wanted to show you the worlds I saw in my head that served as the backdrop for making this music.  Pretty much everything in it is a metaphor or a reference to one corner of the album or another. For me, this video turned out to be the perfect visual representation of this record and the stories I tell in it. Post Malone blew me away on set as our tortured tragic hero and I’m so grateful to him for everything he put into this collaboration. I’m still laughing from getting to work with the coolest guys on earth, Ethan Hawke and Josh Charles (tortured poets, meet your colleagues from down the hall, the dead poets). I still can’t believe I get to work with the unfathomably brilliant Rodrigo Prieto on cinematography and my team of dream collaborators: Ethan Tobman (production design), Chancler Haynes (editor), Anthony Dimino (1st AD), Jil Hardin (producer) and Dom Thomas (executive producer). Parliament aced the VFX as always. Joseph Cassell, Lorrie Turk and Jemma Muradian made these tortured looks come to life. The entire crew made this a dream to shoot. Thank you to everyone involved and everyone who has watched it!! https://taylor.lnk.to/FortnightMV

Note
Jemma Muradian is the woman behind Taylor Swift’s chic fashion lob among other A-list models such as Lily Aldridge and Karlie Kloss, having resided at Arté Salon for the past 9 years (a place she says is very dear to her heart).

Jemma Muradian hiding the pink ends in Taylor's hair on multiple occasions is real talent. I think she's just a low key magician.

[ad_1] If you ever wondered what Taylor Swift would wear for graduation, you'll be happy to learn that her outfit included a chic pair of leopard pumps. You can now officially call the singer Dr. Taylor Swift, as she received an honorary doctorate of fine arts from New York University on Wednesday, May 18. At the ceremony, Swift wore a pair of spotted pumps by Italian brand O Jour. While the print was bold, the block heel was practical for walking. Swift finished her outfit with earrings from Djula Jewellery and also wore a ring by celebrity-favorite jeweler Lorraine Schwartz. Her hairstylist Jemma Muradian kept Swift's hair simple, with her bangs taking center stage, while makeup artist Lorrie Turk applied her signature bold red lip. Before the 2022 commencement ceremony at Yankee Stadium, the 11-time Grammy winner posted a BTS reel on Instagram as she prepared for the momentous occasion. The video starts with Swift sitting in her car wearing an oversize gray sweatshirt and a red T-shirt underneath. Then we get a glimpse at the black fitted dress she slipped on underneath her robe. "Wearing a cap and gown for the very first time - see you soon NYU 🥺🥰🗽," she captioned her post. The "All Too Well" singer gave a speech during the ceremony, where she joked, "I'm 90 percent sure that the reason I'm here is that I have a song called '22.'" This doctorate is the first degree of higher education for Swift, as her singing career took off at the age of 16, and receiving one has always been a goal of hers. While she has no official affiliation with NYU, the prestigious college offers students at its Clive Davis Institute a spring-semester course inspired by Swift's career. Ahead, see Swift's graduation look from all angles. window.fbAsyncInit = function() FB.init( appId : '175338224756', status : true, // check login status xfbml : true, // parse XFBML version : 'v8.0' ); ONSUGAR.Event.fire('fb:loaded'); ; // Load the SDK Asynchronously (function(d) var id = 'facebook-jssdk'; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; if (typeof scriptsList !== "undefined") scriptsList.push('src': 'https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js', 'attrs': 'id':id, 'async': true); (document)); [ad_2] Source link

Hey Sarah would you happen to know who Taylors hair was styled during the billboard women in music conference she wore a black and white dress with a bow at the back 2014 and the z100 jingle ball purple dress 2014 and the giver premiere and that day when wore Oscar de LA renta blue and checkerboard patterned dress the same one with amal clooney. I.have a job interview at a fashion house and have short hair. Thank you
Hi! Taylor’s hair is always styled by her stylist Jemma Muradian for events/red carpets. For her styled candids, I’m sure she is responsible for her own hair.

2019 VMAs
As the summer winds down and pumpkin season becomes imminent there is one more thing that’s coming our way - awards season! The Emmys, the AMAs, and, once we hit November, the film awards season are all coming for us. This is undoubtedly my favorite time of the year and I love to break down the best looks on the red carpets. More importantly, I love giving credit to the amazing artists and designers who work hard to have the stars looking good.
Since 1984 the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) have honored the incredible talents in the music industry. It has also been the stage for many controversial and shocking performances (Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, etc). While it is usually hosted in New York or Los Angeles, this year’s VMAs found themselves at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
The looks on the red carpet were diverse - from drop-dead glamour to full on flesh. There were multiple people who brought live snakes as accessories to their outfits, a la Britney in 2001.
Mainstream celebrities mingled with influencers. The ridiculously funny Sebastian Maniscalco hosted the show. Taylor Swift opened with a technicolor performance with two songs off of her new album, Lover. Lil Nas X brought us to 2037 where he is president and the choreography is on point. Lizzo reminded us to love ourselves and fell GOOD AS HELL. The iconic Missy Misdemeanor Elliot received the Video Vanguard Award for her monumentous accomplishments in the industry accompanied by a performance of new and classic hits.
Mostly the looks were fun and bold, just like the culture of MTV. Were they all great? Nope. Did Lizzo kill it with THREE different makeup looks? Yep.
Scroll down for our favorite looks of the night. Links with an asterisk (*) are actual products used. Comment below or hit me up on social with your faves!
Taylor Swift
The Makeup: Lorrie Turk
The Hair: Jemma Muradian
The Ensemble: Versace blazer & Christian Louboutin boots.
Try: Tay’s makeup artist loves a Laura Mercier product so grab the brand’s Paint Wash in Vermillion Red ($28).
Lizzo
The Makeup: Alexx Mayo
The Hair: Shelby Swain
The Ensemble: Moschino
Try: Alexx used Urban Decay products on all three of Lizzo’s looks for the night. Grab the Naked Cherry Palette ($49) for a look that can be neutral or glam like Lizzo’s pink eyeshadow.
Queen Latifah
The Makeup: Sam Fine
The Hair: Johnny Wright
The Ensemble: Sergio Hudson
Try: The Queen’s look may not have been complete without her gorgeous lashes. Apply falsies or use L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara ($9) for major volume and length.
Lil Nas X
The Ensemble: Christian Cowan
Try: While it’s tough to figure out who Lil Nas X’s glam team includes, a dive into his Instagram shows that he’s a fan of sheet masks. I’m loving FlashMasque® Hydrate from Patchology ($30 for 4 masks)
Alison Brie
The Makeup: Beau Nelson
The Hair: Rebekah Forecast
The Ensemble: Elie Saab
Try: Beau used TruNaked Goldens* palette from Covergirl (discontinued) on Alison for a bronzed goddess eye look. Sub the Sunset TruNaked palette ($13) for a similar glow.
Keke Palmer
The Makeup: Mimi Kamara
The Hair: Ann Jones
The Ensemble: Yousef Aljasmi
Try: Mimi matched Keke’s eyeshadow with her glittering yellow dress. To get an an amazing gold payoff, grab Gold Standard eyeshadow ($25) from Pat McGrath.
Adriana Lima
The Makeup: Robert Sesnek
The Hair: Andrew Fitzsimons
The Ensemble: Sally LaPointe
Try: Robert did a breakdown of the products he used on Adriana for this look, including Fit Me Foundation* ($8) from Maybelline.
Hailee Steinfeld
The Makeup: Carolina Gonzalez
The Hair: Laura Polko
The Ensemble: AADNEVIK
Try: Laura used three different products to achieve Hailee’s bright red pout but you can get away with just one - the Dessin Des Levres Lip Liner in Vermillion* ($30) from YSL. Use it to line and to fill in the lip with a long lasting pout.
Ilfenesh Hadera
The Makeup: Raul Otero
The Hair: Hos Hounkpatin
The Ensemble: Unknown
Try: A sculpting concealer will help you get coverage where you need it most but will still thin out in areas where you don’t want to feel masked in - grab the new Born This Way ($29) from Too Faced to achieve it.
Charm La’Donna
The Makeup: Merrell Hollis
The Hair: Nathan Juergensen and NeNe
The Ensemble: Alexandre Vauthier
Try: Prepping skin is often more important than the makeup and investing in a product that works matters - Hyaluronic Serum ($300) from Dr. Barbara Sturm will have you aging backwards. The European doctor also partnered with Angela Bassett to create a line specifically from darker skin tones and it also includes a Hyaluronic Serum ($300).
Bebe Rexha
The Makeup: Mario Dedivanovic
The Hair: Ursula Stephen
The Ensemble: Christian Siriano
Try: Mario slipped in a pop of green into Bebe’s eye look that is easy to miss without a close-up. Replicate the look with the Player eyeshadow palette ($6) from Revlon.
All hail the OG VMA queen.
