*shoves (a wholly un-kinky, sfw/sft) kinktober into the void*
Day 6: Glasses - 500 words
Jennyanydots watched Skimbleshanks squint. His lips pursed, moving in what was undoubtedly silent grousing, and he rubbed his temples. She scanned the end table next to his chair and found his reading glasses abandoned there. He squinted down at his book again.
Everlasting. “Skimble, dear, what is it?”
He looked up blankly. “Nothing, m’love. A bit of a headache.”
Jennyanydots scooped up his glasses and wagged them in his face. “You know what might make it better?”
“I don’t need them.”
“Oh no?”
“I am perfectly capable of seeing.”
“Then why have you attempted to read the same page for an hour?” Jenny asked sweetly.
“Ach, woman, I’ve only been distracted.”
Jenny raised her eyebrows in perfectly disbelieving arches and put her hands on her hips. Skimbleshanks held her gaze. She narrowed her eyes slowly. He cringed back into the overstuffed chair, sighing and holding out a paw.
“Wear them, love,” Jenny said. “They’re only for reading.”
“I am not so old that I can’t read a page,” Skimbleshanks grumbled.
“They will help with your page, grumblefuss.”
Skimbleshanks settled his glasses on his nose, glass-green eyes bright behind the half-moon lenses. Jenny had always loved his doe eyes; they only looked larger with the glasses on.
“They still mean I’m getting on. I don’t appreciate it.”
“Don’t be silly,” Jenny cooed. She plucked the book from his lap and set it aside. Then she helped herself to Skimbleshanks’s lap, taking his cheeks between her paws and thumbing under the wireframes. “You look terribly distinguished in them.”
“Distinguished, eh?” Skimbleshanks grinned, settling her comfortably. His arm wrapped around her waist. “And just how distinguished do I look?”
“Don’t fish, dear. I won’t indulge it.”
She bent down to smatter cheerful pecks over his pliant lips and warm cheeks. Skimbleshanks chased after her, trying to catch her for a proper kiss.
“Woman, will ye not get down here!” he laughed.
Jennyanydots led him on merrily for a bit longer before taking pity. She leaned down, tilting her head over his, grazing his fond smile. She let him lean up to fit their lips together. They moved together, pressing closer and drifting back in gentle waves. Skimbleshanks licked at the seam of her lips. She purred and granted him entrance. His tongue slid against hers, sharing the taste of his tea and scotch. Jenny leaned in eagerly, the sudden motion knocked the wire-frames askew on his nose. They giggled into each other’s mouths and she sucked on his full bottom lip playfully. He squeezed her backside.
“Dear me, sir,” Jenny simpered.
Skimbleshanks made a face and laughed. “Don’t give me that tone, woman.”
She grinned, meeting him for another slow, open-mouthed kiss, chasing the diminishing hint of scotch on his full lips. They pulled apart only after the press of his glasses became uncomfortable between their noses. Jenny licked her lips daintily.
“I thought you were fighting a headache?”
Skimbleshanks adjusted his smudged lenses and grinned: “It’s been quite well taken care of.”
