jessalyn has such southern gothic horror final girl energy even though the entire premise for her disappearance is of her own creation and the antagonist of the story is the continued perpetuation of the thornton family's sins, so retroactively she is both the villain and the victim.

I was replaying it last night and I was wondering if she did as she was getting Harper out of the house

I don’t think she grabbed her phone, but if she was getting out through the main passage way to get to and from the basement area, she might have grabbed her backpack.

I posted this a while back and had quite a bit of interest in it. It gave me major Ghost of Thornton Hall vibes when I finished it.
