Startrek A plot: my best friend of 24 years is going to die unless i commit a morally unjust crime against this race to obtain a medicine of which they are holding back from me because of their bigoted beliefs of our race and i must figure out a way to try and get around it before he dies. Will i be able to commit this crime? Will i be able to be strong enough to watch my friend die? Do i have enough time?

i imagine jesse grew up pretty wealthy and a bit spoiled, but the reason they need a benefactor to get into hollywood u is because his parents recently stopped supporting him due to past reckless actions but mostly the fact that they came out as nonbinary and bisexual. the last straw for them, i suppose.

it’s not quite getting disowned levels, as they’re still in contact but they stopped supporting him financially after his first year of college. his parents see it as them teaching him a lesson and that he’ll eventually “grow out of this phase” and come back to them.

they believe that it will force him be more responsible, be good, be obedient. like how jesse was when they were younger.

Yep. I feel like even Jane who is more popular bc she's easier for people to project themselves on (I wonder why 😒) still gets somewhat ignored in these posts about Jesse. She's also target of some hate bc she dared to have her own issues and not be all about jesse 100% of the time.

Andrea, on the other hand, this fandom acts like she doesn't exist.
