Thinking about the show and how connected and in sync taekook were in a way that we usually don't get to see so blatantly in BTS content. It's also so fascinating to witness solo era taekook in general and just how much they appear as a unit publicly now. It's not only how complimentary their lifestyles are or how they spent majority of their free time together and made their schedules in a way that gave them space to still have time with eachother. But it's also how they decided to go on insta live together, appeared on Suchwita and attended Yoongi's concert together, attended the premiere together, spoke about eachother in interviews, took obvious couple photo's at Jungkook's listening party, Jungkook wearing that ring during Seven promo overseas, the matching sweetheart shirts, there is soo many other things I could list. It really feels like they have made very intentional choices to show themselves as a unit or tie themselves to eachother in peoples minds. Even right before enlistment, Tae posting that intimate screenshot of their facetime call was just so bold of him and felt so much like a statement. Maybe I am being delulu but I'm wondering if they are slowly getting the public used to the idea of seeing them together in a more official way? It's so clear now that how Tae and Jungkook relate to eachother as individuals and solo artists vs Jungkook and V of BTS is very different and I am curious to see what that will look like in 2025 post military. Sorry if my thoughts are all over the place I was just so pleasantly surprised to see the taekook we got yesterday so freely in bts content. Still trying to process.

I think it's super clear that they are a team in whatever way.

And it's fascinating to me that this unit became clear at a time when the wider group was fragmented by military and not needing to be around each other.*

*Incidentally, I think Jimin and Yoongi have formed a unit too. I'll basically leave that to the more knowledgeable Yoonminers to fathom out romance potential but certainly in terms of priorities and closeness, it's abundantly clear where Jimin places most importance.

That's why it drives me slightly bonkers when jikookers are like "It doesn't count, this has only happened in solo era" because even if it was true, which it isn't, it's a HUGE indicator of where priorities and strong relationships lie. I don't think "This has only happened since they didn't have group schedules and group expectations!!!!!!!!" is the flex they think it is.

They quite literally did not have to see each other... and they did. A Lot. And it's not wild to assume we might only really be seeing a tiny percentage of their actual time spent.

Even if coming out takes a bit longer, I definitely think they want to go into 2025 completely dropping the mic on the ridiculous narrative that they are distant.

We know JK is so bothered about a friend peeling perila leaf for his partner. He can't trust his partner even with that simple thing, so should we even talk about intimate choreography, living with producers, going for weeks long foreign trips ? He wasn't okay with any of that anon. Like, not even a little bit. I think we have witnessed satellite Jeon for so long that we have forgotten what it actually means. JK always wanting to be next to Jimin, Jimin having a calming effect on JK, JK gravitating towards Jimin when sad, satellite Jeon means Jimin is JK's person. It means Jimin is more than just his boyfriend, he is his safe space. JK needs him. He doesn't just want him, he doesn't just love Jimin, he needs him.

Jikook live together, yeah? And this is after all members used to live in one house for years. So they've done nothing but be around eo for over 10 years. AND YET what happens when any content is released?

We have them backstage walking from point A to B together

We have them sitting and standing next to eo all the time

We have JK displacing members to be next to Jimin

We have JK following Jimin

We have them leaving premises together

We have them cheating to be on the same team

We have them staying up all night drinking alone together

We have them practising group choreos together

We have them hanging out at each other's rehearsals.

And all this happens after they left the same house and will go back to sleep in the same bed at the end of the day once they're done filming. When I call them interdependent... I mean they are interdependent.

Jimin is JK's safe space I'm pretty sure this has been established by how hard satellite Jeon works sometimes.

What's my point you ask? My point is, JK has only known being with Jimin almost all the time. When they're good, of course. When they haven't fought and are giving eo space, JK only knows how to have Jimin with him at all times. And this has been the case for years. Then solo era comes along and Jimin moves out for a while, and even though I'm sure he made time for JK, it just wasn't enough.

JK went from waking up to Jimin, seeing him everyday, to seeing him what, thrice a week? Once a week? Who knows? Either way, his Jimin time had been cut considerably short and satellite Jeon was not handling it very well. Add that to the fact that they are supposed to lay low, can't be seen out together in public hanging out like they used to before.. and it was maybe a bit too much for JK.

So no anon, JK was not cool with any of the above things that you listed. We all saw it for ourselves. Coming live without permission and being unapologetic about it. First sign of defying the company. Coming live all the time coz he was bored and needed company. The drinking on every live even though he wasn't allowed to. Deleting insta and making the company lose money coz of it while most prolly not giving a shit. And then white day happened.

This couple holiday that JK has spent with Jimin every single year and once again his boyfriend is not just busy but out of the freaking country! So what happens? Mans breaks down. He's at his limit here, anon.

I only wanna talk to Jikookers rn coz they're the only ones that truly understand how seriously Jikook take this couple shit. Be it matching rings on the same finger, or matching clothes on couple holidays, or matching clothes more often than with other members. And it happens even now, btw.

So for Jimin to be away on the last white day before they have to enlist and be away from eo for 2 years, I can imagine it kinda hit JK hard and may have been one of the things that got him emotional that day.

And we know this, because as soon as Jimin's promotions ended, not only did JK go MIA, but when he popped back up, mofo was fucking glowing

He looked absolutely incredible. There was shine in his eyes and in his smile. It was so good to see him that way. And that has continued to be the case in the lives that he did after that. Sad JK was gone. JK that needed to drink when he came live, was gone.

So now i ask; Was this visible change that happened once Jimin was no longer as busy a coincidence?

Jikook Week 30 Complete (02/07 -09/07/2024)

Their thirtieth week in the military is now complete and time to celebrate this milestone with a look back at this week in 2022.

BTS announced their hiatus and the start of the solo era on 14th June 2022 and as baby ARMY that year I was unsure what this meant and what the future had in store for them and for us.

By the beginning of July 2024, J-Hope was in full promo mode for Jack in the Box. More was released on 01/07 and Jimin celebrated the release on his IG on 03/07. J-Hope wrote "Love you my brother".

On 04/07 the BTS Episode released took us back to the 2022 Grammys performance and watching the early dance practices with the member stand-ins, I was reminded how many obstacles they had to surmount to even make it to the Grammy's stage.

Jin had to have hand surgery and couldn't dance most of the choreography. V, then J-Hope, then Jungkook came down with COVID. (JK only making it to the US by the skin of his teeth before having to quarantine in his hotel room almost right up to show time). But then if that didn't happen we wouldn't have got this little nugget.

It is truly a miracle they were able to make such a faultless and memorable performance.

JK was riding high on the charts with Left and Right his collab with Charlie Puth. On 05/07, we say JK recording the song and it was clear once again why he is such a special performer and human.

Initial DICON D'Festa images came out with Jimin and Jungkook sparking a new wave of speculation with their matching Viollina rings.

Finally on the 9th July, BTS and jikook published the following pictures to celebrate ARMY's birthday.

Now my thought was, were Jikook having not so much of a ‘loud’ jikooking day with the rings and the Bi flag etc with their shoot day or were they more having a f*ck you to the man, the man being Dispatch, moment???

Most ship idols based on zero substance other than thinking they cute together but will say with their whole chest they married with 3 kids & mean it. Happens in every fandom. I kinda blame their shitty teams for help contributing. Example, the stigma about matching in Korea being tied to couples & how these teams will purposely dress idols in the matching clothes, same concepts, etc across all groups. I saw an idol wearing Tae's same outfit for Layover for a shoot. And we aren't gonna talk about BTS team recycling everything within the group & applying it to all members. Same video concepts, choreography, clothes, themes. Now, I get Jikook actually do like to match on their off days & have been called out for it by members more then anyone & even their recent Silver Day date in NY with them wearing matching black and white head to toe (which is adorable as hell) I get that's different, but regarding everything else, I kinda can't take matching concepts or matching photoshoot linking seriously. Just seems lazy as hell on the creators end, esp when they steal members original ideas and apply it to other members, which is wrong. Then you have members wearing each other's brands. Like Jk wearing a Tiffany Ring & Jimin wearing a CK shirt & Tae wearing a CK hat or Hobi wearing a Celine shirt & idiots use this as proof their ships are real, when the men are most like just digging in each other's closet's.

Look at Ateez & their concept is pretty much identical to Golden concept, even the name is similar.

Hi, I love your blog. You and I have very similar opinions. Except my favorite duos are : 1. Minimoni, 2. Yoonmin. I mean apart from the obvious support of Jikook:)

My question is this: do you know if anything special happened in 2017 that Namjoon gifted that fancy ring to Jimin. I wasn't part of the fandom back then, I know you weren't too, but you maybe seen some content that I haven't.

I mean it was a big enough deal that he told the other members about it. So even he considered it out of the norm. I was just wondering if maybe Jimin did something for RM or gifted him something big that he had to reciprocate. I understand that we will never really know, but maybe with your knowledge of BTS's content you have an idea? Because 2017 seems to be a "give Jimin a big gift" kind of year ( Namjoon, JK).

So what are your thoughts about it?

I don't think anything specifically big happened or was mentioned to/about Jimin in 2017. I just think Jimin and Joon are best fucking friends. Lol they connect so well and Joon leans on Jimin a lot at times, and vice versa. Jimin also got lots of fancy and expensive gifts in 2016 from various members too (the big ones mentioned specifically that year being YG and Tae!) I think that maybe Joon just thought it would be a really good gift for him. I don't want to get into it TOO much because it's all just.... speculation and rabbit hole spiraling.... lol but he either 1) saw it and thought Jimin would love it, 2) Jimin mentioned an express interest and wanting it and Joon said "fuck it, imma get it for him, he deserves it" or 3) my jikook heart is relating it to jikookery and Joon participating when the other 2 options are MUCH more likely. But I am curious. Because this was a present, on Jimins birthday, in 2017. You can read my post over this gift here

BUT Jimin was seen wearing a Cartier nail ring in 2016 at the airport! With all his other own personal clothing and style etc. So one can assume that it was HIS personal ring. It is rumored it was a gift given to him at a fan meeting. A ring that he wore in 2016 before Joon gifted him a similar one, but this time with his initials engraved in it. A ring that in 2016, Jimin then gave to Jungkook. And I don't think we ever saw again 🤣 so either Jimin gifted his to JK and he has kept it, but it's not in frequent rotation for Jungkook. Or Jimin let JK borrow his ring, and then JK lost it. Lol for which Jimin might have expressed disappointment at no longer owning this ring. The 2016 Cartier Nail ring and Jimin giving it to JK. The funniest part being Jimin's manager behind him reaching his hand out thinking Jimin just didn't want to wear it anymore. Nope, he was just giving it to JK...

And then just continuing to wear it through the airport.... this was 160804 btw

So I don't think Joon would drop so much money on a duplicate ring. Maybe it's an upgraded verison? Maybe it's just a ring Jimin loved a lot and it got lost so Joon replaced it with an upgraded engraved verison. Jokers living up to their names and doing it in an alternate reality as usual. 😂 I'm sorry, but it's so pathetic to come to a Taekooker blog after Jimin makes a birthday post to brag about Jikook thriving and Taekook "giving" us nothing in the time of solo era/2023 when there have been more significant Taekook moments than any single year since I started following their story in 2016. We've seen Jikook together four times when we know they were filming company content, and Weverse/TikTok interactions...and that's pretty much it. Taekook is Thriving™, so I can see why they'd want to swap narratives. Multiple confirmed hang outs before leaving on trips and after arriving back in SK (including when Tae was only back for a couple of days in between schedules), Paradise Hotel, Busan beach late night, bowling (multiple times confirmed), attending a musical, the Dream premiere, arriving late to Yoongi's concert together and leaving together, wearing the matching sweetheart shirts on the same day despite Tae being in SK and Jungkook being in LA at the time which is one of the most insane boyfriend things they've ever done, Tae sneaking into Inkigayo to support Jungkook's first solo performance there, Jungkook proudly wearing the Wooga ring which tells us he has officially been folded into Tae's closest social circle in a significant way and of course his closest friends have been outspokenly supporting his bf's hit song including Bogum and one of Tae's best friends from high school. This is just what I could think of off the top of my head, my mind has actually been blown by how much has happened in the last year. Everything makes sense given what I believe to be the nature of their relationship, I just feel incredibly blessed. Never expecting anything, but always grateful for what they share. That's where I'm at. I've actually never been more sure of them. I don't give a single f about who posts what on social media, I never have. They can call each other. Taekook literally live within walking distance of each other. They can hang out whenever they want without anyone knowing, and I'm sure they do. Being boyfriends and all. I just think people in the fandom in general are unaware of a lot of what Taekook do because I remember seeing posts after the Dream premiere from ARMYs saying "I feel like it's been years since I've seen them!" And some people very intentionally try to avoid seeing what they're up to together. It's cool. You're right. There have been PLENTY of pretty significant taekook moments this year, but j*kookers are blind to them as usual. Even with all the taekook going on, j*kookers still claim it's a "dead ship."

To be fair, as I said before, we don't always know when the members hang out with each other, so j*kook could quite possibly have hung out together more than what we already know, but certain comments from them, and the fact that they haven't known each others schedules or what the other has been doing recently makes that seem more unlikely. And j*kook filming company content is not a "romantic outing," despite how much they want it to be 🤷‍♀️

I think taekook makes them feel insecure at times, which is why they try to diminish their interactions. There's no denying at this point that taekook are incredibly close (romantic or not) and that they spend a whole lot of time together. If j*kookers are really as unbothered by this as they say they are, why are they always so desperate to rub any little j*kook moment in our faces the second it happens?

You listing all those taekook moments really made me realise just how much taekook content there has been in the past 8-9 months! They really are thriving. Taekook don't have to DO anything for me to keep believing in them, but they keep showing us in little, subtle ways where their priorities lie. "Never expecting anything, but always grateful for what they share" is such a great way to put it. I don't expect anything from them. I'm not entitled to their private life or relationship, I just enjoy observing their love from afar.

I think a lot of the fandom is very unaware of the extent of taekook's bond and their interactions. We look for and notice things about them that they never would. They don't pay attention to noises in the background of their lives or them wearing the same t-shirt on the same day. Most of what makes us believe in taekook isn't common knowledge amongst army because if you're not looking for it, you won't see it. They're not exactly flaunting their relationship. I do feel like they leave us a few clues every now and then, though 😉

For the anon asking the difference between jikook and taekook...first of all, what exactly are you expecting? Concrete evidence? Because there is none. Ultimately, it's all speculation and personal opinion. It's up to you to make your own mind up.

Now, my opinion on the difference. Jikook? Some cute shipping moments. They are obviously close and comfortable with each other and have affectionate moments. Jimin flirts with anyone and everyone so him being flirty is not proof of anything in my opinion. Their interactions are surface level for me, what you see is what you get. Nothing suspicious going on behind the scenes between these two.

Taekook? Secret getaways together. Evidence of them hiding in each others lives. Matching rings. Sharing clothes. Looking at each other with blatent sexual tension/love. ANY vlive with these two in! The suspicious vlive moments between these two are countless. Knowing info about each other that other members don't. The videos that show them being actively separated. Other members reactions to moments between them are a biiig giveaway. The amount of times Tae has been caught on camera staring at Jk as he dances like he's extremely turned on. The amount of times Jk has been caught on camera staring at Tae like he hung the moon. The sign language they used to use with each other. Tae sharing his set of 5 rings with Jk. Staying in a hotel alone together on their alleged anniversary. Jk posting songs at 12:30 and time stamped at 1:23 - dates which match up with Tae's birthday. Tae pausing the Lauv song at 1:23 when he and Jk where singing it together in a live. The text Yoongi sent to both of them. The way Jimin always watches them like he knows their secret - he's the biggest taekook supporter.
