Black Orchid was created by perfumers of the fragrance company Givaudan in 2006. It was announced as an oriental chypre. The top notes are French jasmine, black truffle, ylang-ylang, black currant, and effervescent citrus. In the floral-spicy heart, dwells Tom Ford's black orchid, more imaginary than real, and the base combines woodsy notes (patchouli and sandalwood), dark chocolate, incense, amber, vetiver, vanilla, and balsam.

Velvet Orchid is a new feminine perfume creation from designer Tom Ford. The new version Velvet Orchid comes out in 2014 and carries on the legacy of bold and glamorous floral signature that promises a unique character, atmosphere and experience of the scent. The fragrance opens itself with bergamot, mandarin, Succan absolute (purified rum extract) and honey. At the core of this creation (made of "corporeal floral notes.") is Tom Ford's distinctive, “timeless” signature - an imaginary accord of black orchid blended with notes of velvet orchid, which gives the perfume its name, with intense Turkish rose oil and jasmine and a new accord of purple orchid that grows in the wilds of southern Brazilian coast. There are also additional floral notes of orange blossom, rose absolute, narcissus, hyacinth and heliotrope. The base is warm due to the rich flavors of Peru balsam, myrrh, labdanum, sandalwood, suede and vanilla.

An amber drenched, woody oriental fragrance with a tantalizing and delectable heart, Noir Extreme captures the aspect of the man that relishes in immoderation and dares to be extraordinary. The composition opens with a blend of fresh citruses and warm spicy notes. There are mandarin oil, neroli, saffron, cardamom and nutmeg at the beginning. Its heart contains accord of Indian kulfi dessert, traditionally made of Himalayan snow and pistachio, transmitted with mastic accord. A bouquet of rose absolute, jasmine and orange blossom is also placed in the heart. Hot amber in the base is subtly balanced with woody accords of sandalwood and milky- sweet vanilla. F*ing Fabulous by Tom Ford presents a new limited edition from his exclusive Private Blend perfume line during the New York Fashion Week in September 2017. Key ingredients of the composition include bitter almond oil, tonka bean, orris root, leather, cashmerean and clary sage oil.
