Can we talk about more important things like jimin? I know it's been days but oh boy, his last live made me feel tingly inside. After weeks and weeks of radio silence I wasn't speculating much about his activities, but it's clear that he's been marinating something. I just can't help but giggle thinking of him sitting down like he always does, like he's 6ft 5 tall and his cock is way too heavy, and just analyzing frame by frame every little thing he did during Face era, and that's classic jimin but at the same time I feel like his demeanor changed yet again? Did anyone else feel The Vibes~? Were the super shy mimi days left behind and there's no need to hide behind Legos anymore? I loved to see that he was able to talk without feeling awkward, and loved to hear him talk about his need to change, gives me the feeling that he's gonna pick up from where he left off with set me free pt. 2. A couple of days ago I was doing some deep cleaning and I ended up going through his photobook again, I still can't believe the way he ATE that, every single concept? Insane. Would love to see him go further and keep exploring that side of him, I want to see and hear a brighter, happier jimin, maybe jimin in love, jimin in lust, so many things, why am I so greedy when it comes to him? Lol I can't help it.

That Most Important Thing: Jimin - The sequel. We can and should talk about him.

I did notice a different vibe. Right from the beginning. I don't know how to explain it, but it was as if he was less burdened, compared to the livestreams he did pre Face and during the promotions. The stress must have been really high back then.

Now, it's like he discovered what he has to do, he's doing it and feeling confident about it. Maybe it's an act, putting on a brave face, but to me, he just seemed more carefree. I've seen some reactions, people actually being worried about what he said about starting from scratch because of what the majority of us think it's related to that infamous encore. It might be, I hope it isn't, or that it didn't produce some long term effect on his self confidence. But to me it sounded like instead of wallowing, he picked himself up and went back to work.

Again, that doesn't mean he did a bad job with Face, far from it. We know it would be ridiculous to say that. It's one of the best kpop albums so far in 2023.

I love that it had coherence, a vision. Everything was interconnected and every single layer and element of the album was carefully crafted. Nothing was lacking. It wasn't like there were mediocre lyrics, but a good melody or vice versa. None of that.

The photofolio (again, he ate that. He did more than everybody) and the first album are an indication that he's on an interesting path. What I hope is to see an evolution, taking some steps further, more courage. Jimin plays it a bit on the safer side. He pushes it, but just enough. I want him to just push the limits bit by bit. Because he can and because there's potential.

I liked how you introduced his heavy dick in all that praise. Makes perfect sense in the context.

This is yet another reminder that what we see on Twitter or the internet, in general, is not the absolute reality. Jimin is LOVED by millions of people in this fandom. Fans adore him. They respect and support him. This may not have been his concert, but these are his fans too. Jimin is cherished. Reality isn't confined to what happens on Twitter, and that's something we should always remember.

Maybe I'm just emotional because of all the news, but you emphasizing 'like they always said they would' really got me.

The entire time I've been a fan I've always felt they are as honest as they can be about the group. They maintain their privacy and hide the hard times etc, but they are as straightforward about the group and their direction as they can be. The only time I've ever felt myself waver from that was the hiatus announcement. I think that was down to the way it was announced and how even at that time they were still skirting enlistment talk so couldn't be fully upfront. It was the only time I questioned if I'd been lead on a bit about them wanting to remain a group. It was very shortlived and all through Chapter 2 they've done nothing but reaffirm what I'd always felt about the way in which they communicate with us. If you actually listen to what they say and take what they say in good faith then they are doing exactly what they said they would. Nothing should be a surprise really, especially after a literal contract renewal.

I'm feeling sad, but actually this announcement has been the least hard for me. I think it was expected and knowing it's all at once, having a clearer timelime eases the remaining uncertainty. I am looking forward to whatever surprises we've got coming, the chaos Jin and Hobi being in charge will bring, and looking forward to the time they can do whatever they want group/solo work etc without all of this hanging over all our heads.

Military service is proving to these ao3 lovers that he isn't what you created for him. I just want our man to realize whole in the service that he is worth it stop minimizing himself for people that don't care about him be selfish for once.

I feel like some of you want jimin to be exactly what y’all call some of the other members out for and that’s just not him. There’s no minimizing going on that he’s doing. He’s never been the type to hold himself back so others can shine. Even other members have had to get on him about doing the exact opposite. He’s never once been like “I’ll never be as good as “x” or spoken lowly of himself because jimin knows his worth. He doesn’t need to become arrogant to get that point across. Jimin could’ve flat out said in that letter that he did poorer on purpose because he didn’t want jk to feel bad about ranking behind, but no. He did his best, got 1st then said jk was still doing well instead. Jimin’s confident in his abilities without having to oversell it and he uplifts other people because he genuinely wants to, not out of obligation or to make them out like they’re superior to him. And I don’t think that’s something he needs to change.

Remember few months ago I spoke abt jm not creating opportunities in his solo career or something now he's released a Collab of the idol he admired , his album releasing next month and now he's Dior ambassador.

You know what I never understood? How the notion of just working without constantly promoting one's self on social media is something so foreign. I also thought that given that a big part of the online fandom demographic grew up with the internet, we would be aware that social media doesn't reflect our entire life and reality. It's the same for me, perhaps for you and for a global celebrity like Jimin. I know that media literacy is not something that everyone has, but this is something so basic.

I also think that your beliefs towards Jimin's lack of promoting himself also came from needing more presence on his part, to be more connected because we need the constant content. Like now, it's Jungkook's turn to be absent and fans are starting to shed their metaphorical tears.

But that's not an excuse to not be able to truly see and understand that in no way Jimin would be ignored, unwanted, unable to build a career. Who is this man? Because it certainly doesn't sound like a guy who said he achieved everything he ever wanted, that he works hard, that is immensely popular on a global level, to just suddently disappear and wash his chances down the drain because he wasn't "promoting" himself. Well, he is doing it now. When there's an actual reason for it. It's work. That's what Jimin is doing and his social media presence in the last 2 years (at least) has been predominantly about work. That's the strategy. He has everything in place now, so he is ready to put himself out there. That's on being professional.

Treat Jimin like he’s a new artist. Make videos about him, tiktoks with actual facts, cool edits that will make people stan him, just treat him as if he’s a new artist. Don’t just assume everyone knows who he is so it’s okay to leave everything as it is, No. We need to recruit as many new people as we can, so treating him like he’s a new artist and hyping every little thing he does, will definitely help.

Remember that to new people, he is new. Don’t be complacent in your support for him. Now, obviously Jimin is not a new artist, but we ARE trying to create a NEW narrative. A positive one, a CORRECT one. So in order to do that, we have to basically erase the false narratives from the equation or pretend all the negative stuff does not exist. This will help us emotionally to continue making positive content. If we keep up with it, all the positive content will eventually drown out the negative. a lot of idols get hate, but Jimin's situation is unique because the hate is systematic. This is why we have to move differently and strategically.
