“It was a treat to visit Jim Peterik today. Jim’s written great songs like “Eye of the Tiger” and “Vehicle”, but I really love the songs he’s written with The Beach Boys and Brian Wilson. We discovered we each wrote a song that was inspired by the Parkland, FL students and we shared those songs with each other. He sent me home with this new calendar, which he signed ‘To Ian Ash: You’re a great singer and songwriter.’ Jimbo is truly a class act.
