Tumblr media
"Thanks. he muttered, his voice softer this time, almost shy. He still wasn’t used to letting people in, but for some reason, with you, it didn’t feel so bad. You smiled again, that same warm smile that made something inside him flutter. "Anytime." you replied, and Megumi knew you meant it. “Let me take care of you again, okay? When this happens.” “......You didn’t need to—” You shake your head, smile even wider.  “But I want to, okay?”

HE WONDERS WHAT HE DID TO BE THIS HAPPY. Fushiguro Megumi often finds himself lost in thought, trying to piece together how he ended up with someone like you as his lover. It’s a mystery to him, one that he turns over and over in his mind, especially in the quiet moments when he watches you from across the room.
The two of you couldn’t be more different. Megumi has always been reserved, the kind of person who prefers the solace of a quiet corner, away from the spotlight. He’s never been one to seek attention, content to blend into the background, observing rather than participating.
And then there’s you, today. The person he loves the most.
You, who are the complete opposite of everything he thought he needed. You walk into a room and light it up effortlessly, drawing people to you like a lighthouse in a rough storm. Your presence is magnetic, radiant—wherever you go, you leave a trail of warmth and joy, like the sun casting light on everything in its path. If the sun existed in Megumi’s universe, it would undoubtedly be you, the brightest star in his sky, illuminating even the darkest parts of his world.
Sometimes, Fushiguro Megumi wonders how someone like you could ever be drawn to someone like him. He’s not flashy, not outgoing or overly expressive. But then, you’ve never needed him to be. From the moment you met, you saw something in him that no one else did. You didn’t mind his quiet nature; in fact, you seemed to appreciate it, to cherish the way he found comfort in the shadows while you thrived in the light.
Every time Megumi sees you, his heart races uncontrollably. It’s a feeling he can’t quite describe, this mixture of awe and disbelief that he’s lucky enough to have you by his side. You have a way of making him feel things he never thought possible—emotions that run deep and wild, far beyond the calm exterior he usually shows the world.
And whenever you flash him that smile, the one he loves so much, he feels his composure slip. His face turns scarlet, his heart stumbles over itself, and he panics slightly, wondering how he’ll ever survive the intensity of his feelings for you.
But what truly leaves Megumi breathless are your eyes.
He’s always been captivated by them, even before he realized he loved you. There’s something in the way your eyes shine that draws him in, that makes him feel like he’s seeing something otherworldly. When you look at him, it’s like the rest of the world fades away, leaving only the two of you in a moment of pure, unfiltered connection.
Your eyes are windows to your soul, reflecting every emotion, every thought, every ounce of love you hold for him. And Megumi, who is often so unsure of himself, finds a sense of peace and belonging in those eyes. They are his sanctuary, his guiding light, the proof that he’s not alone in this world.
Sometimes, when you catch him staring, you’ll tilt your head and ask him what he’s thinking. And every time, Megumi struggles to find the right words, because how can he possibly explain the way you make him feel? How can he put into words the overwhelming mixture of gratitude, love, and fear that courses through him whenever he’s with you? All he knows is that, in those moments, he’s reminded of just how extraordinary you are, and how incredibly lucky he is to have you.
You are the sun in his universe, the brightest star in his sky, and with every passing day, Megumi falls deeper in love with you. And even though he’s not always able to express it, he hopes that when you look into his eyes, you can see just how much you mean to him—how much he adores every part of you, and how grateful he is to share his life with someone as wonderful as you.
Each time you raise your head and let Megumi gaze into your eyes, he’s struck by how they seem to shimmer with an otherworldly light. It’s not just the way they sparkle, but the depth and complexity they hold within them, as if your eyes contain entire galaxies, full of stars, planets, and endless mysteries.
To Megumi, your eyes are like a universe unto themselves—vast, beautiful, and impossible to fully comprehend. He can never quite find the words to describe the wonder they bring him, because, in truth, they’re unlike anything he’s ever known. They’re out of this world, something magical and extraordinary that he’s lucky enough to witness every day.
And every day, Megumi is reminded of just how fortunate he is to have you by his side. There are moments when he’s caught off guard by the simple yet profound realization that someone as remarkable as you chose him.
He’ll be lost in thought, or caught up in the routine of daily life, and then you’ll look at him, your eyes meeting his, and all those thoughts scattered like leaves in the wind. In those moments, nothing else matters—just the connection between you, the unspoken bond that ties your hearts together.
Megumi finds that the most beautiful part of his day is when you look back at him. Your eyes, shining with a brilliance that words can’t quite capture, speak volumes in a language only the two of you understand. They tell him of the abundant love you hold for him, a love that fills his heart with warmth and light.
He’s always been shy, a little reserved, and sometimes he struggles to put his feelings into words. But when you look at him with those sparkling eyes, he wishes he could find the courage to tell you just how much it feels like heaven on Earth when you let him see the hearts hidden behind the bright beam of your gaze.
Megumi knows that you’re patient with him, that you understand his quiet nature, but sometimes he worries that he doesn’t show you enough how deeply he loves you. He wishes he could be more expressive, that he could find the words to tell you everything he feels.
But when words fail him, he hopes that you can see it in the way he looks at you—in the way his breath catches, in the way his heart races, in the way he’s completely and utterly captivated by you.
To Megumi, your eyes are not just beautiful—they are a reflection of the love you have for him, a love that he treasures more than anything in the world. Every glance you share, every moment your eyes meet his, is a reminder of how lucky he is to have found someone like you. And even though he may never fully grasp the magic you bring into his life, he knows that he will spend every day trying to show you just how much you mean to him.
To Megumi, it feels like stars might actually be falling from the sky, captured in the light of your gaze. Every moment he gets to see those eyes, he feels like he's witnessing something otherworldly, something that makes all the differences between you melt away, leaving only the overwhelming love he has for you.
Even though Megumi isn’t always good with words, he sometimes wishes that you could simply look into his eyes and just know that he loves you more than anything in the world. He hopes that you no longer feel the need to ask over and over, like you used to, because the truth is, you’re the only one he has ever truly loved—and the only one he ever will.
But sometimes, a nagging doubt creeps into his mind. He worries that his quietness might not be enough to convince you of how much you mean to him. He fears that he’s not doing enough to show you just how deeply he cares, because he struggles to express his feelings out loud. Yet, despite those fears, Megumi is determined to try harder, to find ways to show you his love so that you never have to doubt it.
If there were a way, Megumi wishes you could look into his heart and believe without a shadow of a doubt that you are the only one his heart has ever loved. And as he gazes at you now, he silently hopes that you can feel the depth of his affection in the way he looks at you, even if the words aren’t always there.
Fushiguro Megumi vividly remembers the first time he saw you for the first time. That was that day, during middle school. It was an ordinary day, and he wasn’t expecting anything to change. And for that change to be for the best.
He was known for being a bit of a loner, someone who kept to himself and occasionally got into trouble for his rebellious streak. He wasn’t exactly a model student, and most people gave him a wide berth, not wanting to get involved with someone who had a reputation for being a delinquent.
But then there was you, when you were younger.
He had just been reprimanded by one of the homeroom teachers for getting into another fight—something that had become more common as he struggled to navigate the challenges of his teenage years.
Or rather, just the annoyance he had for people he considered to be cruel, horrible people. But he supposed he was also angry, frustrated with the world, and on the verge of lashing out again when you approached him.
You were new, just transferred to the school, and Megumi was sure that you, like everyone else, would steer clear of him. But instead, you walked right up to him, your eyes full of concern rather than fear or judgment. You were like the sun blocking his eyes when he met you. You changed his whole world that day, he likes to think.
"Hey! Are you okay?" you had said softly, your voice calm and soothing. "Oh no, you got some dirt on your shirt—is that a cut on your side?"
Fushiguro Megumi had been taken aback for a long time. The last time must have been when Gojo said he’s taking him and Megumi in. There were very few things that had Megumi fazed, stuck in his tracks, and at a loss for words.
Perhaps the act of kindness being shown to him was one of those points. But he doesn’t think you’ve blamed him. He wasn’t used to anyone talking to him like that—without the underlying wariness or caution. He didn’t know how to respond, so he just shrugged, trying to brush you off.
“I’m fine.” he muttered, his tone gruff, hoping you would just drop it and leave him alone. "Don't worry about me. Move on."
But you didn’t leave. Instead, you stood your ground, your eyes filled with a concern that he hadn’t seen in a long time. It was as if you could see right through his tough exterior, straight to the part of him that was hurting, and you weren’t about to let it go unnoticed. You shook your head, your hands reaching out to gently tug at his sleeves, drawing his attention back to you.
When he finally looked at you, he was surprised to find that you seemed more distressed about his well-being than he was. There was a softness in your gaze, mixed with a quiet determination that caught him off guard.
"It doesn’t look like it! See? It hasn’t stopped bleeding. you replied gently, your voice free of any reproach, but filled with genuine worry.
Megumi followed your gaze to the cut on his arm, a wound he hadn’t given much thought to in the heat of the moment. But seeing the concern etched on your face made him pause.
You hesitated for a moment, as if unsure of how to proceed, before speaking again. "But if you don’t want to talk about it, that’s okay. I just… I just wanted to make sure you’re alright."
“Don’t worry about me—”
Your voice wavered slightly, betraying the depth of your concern, and it made something inside Megumi’s chest tighten. "At least maybe let me help you clean that nasty cut."
Megumi blinked, taken aback by your persistence. He was used to people either ignoring him or chastising him for getting into trouble, but you were different. You weren’t trying to fix him or tell him what to do—you were simply offering to help, to be there for him in a way that no one else had been. It was a kindness he wasn’t used to, and he didn’t quite know how to respond.
For a moment, he considered brushing you off, telling you he didn’t need any help, that he could handle it on his own. But something in your eyes stopped him. There was a sincerity there, a genuine desire to take care of him, and it made him realize how rare it was for someone to care like that.
"Fine." he finally grumbled, though his voice had lost its earlier edge. He couldn’t quite bring himself to meet your gaze, instead focusing on the ground as he added, "But it’s really not that bad."
You didn’t seem convinced, but you didn’t push him further. Instead, you smiled—a small, relieved smile that made his chest feel warm in a way he wasn’t used to. "Let’s just get it cleaned up, okay?" you said softly, leading him to a nearby bench.
As you carefully tended to his wound, Megumi found himself stealing glances at you, wondering why you cared so much. You were new to the school, new to his world, and yet here you were, going out of your way to make sure he was alright. It was strange, but also… comforting.
"Why do you care?" he asked quietly, surprising even himself with the question. It wasn’t something he’d meant to say out loud, but now that the words were out there, he couldn’t take them back.
You paused, looking up at him with those kind, worried eyes. "Because you deserve it." you replied simply, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. "Everyone deserves to be cared for, you know?"
Your words hung in the air between you, and for a moment, Megumi didn’t know what to say. He’d never thought of himself as someone who deserved kindness, especially not from someone like you. But hearing you say it so matter-of-factly made him wonder if maybe, just maybe, you were right.
You took Megumi to the nurse’s office, your concern evident in every step you took. He had tried to brush off the cut on his arm as no big deal, but you weren’t having any of it. As you entered the office, you headed straight for the supply cabinet, rummaging through it to find the emergency kit.
Megumi watched you with a mixture of apprehension and admiration. His face was tense, a mixture of discomfort and embarrassment clearly visible. He had never been one to draw attention to himself, especially not for something he considered minor. Yet here you were, focused and determined to make sure he was taken care of.
You pulled out the first aid kit and set it on the counter, your hands moving quickly and efficiently. “Alright, let’s get this cleaned up,” you said, your voice steady and reassuring.
Megumi shifted uncomfortably, clearly aware of the fuss you were making. “You didn’t have to go through all this trouble. It’s just a scratch,” he muttered, trying to downplay the situation.
You gave him a stern look as you began to clean the cut. “It’s not just a scratch if it’s bleeding. Besides, it’s my job to make sure you’re okay. You’ve been taking care of everyone else, so let me take care of you for once.”
He sighed, though he couldn’t help but feel a little comforted by your persistence. As you carefully applied the antiseptic and bandaged his arm, Megumi stole glances at you, noticing the focused expression on your face. Despite his initial resistance, he was grateful for your concern.
“You really don’t have to do this,” he said again, though his voice lacked conviction this time.
You glanced up at him with a small, reassuring smile. “I know, but I want to. You’ve always been there for me, and it’s only fair that I return the favor. Besides, you look like you’re in no condition to argue right now.”
Megumi managed a small, appreciative smile despite his discomfort. “Thanks. I guess I’m just not used to this… kind of attention.”
You finished wrapping the bandage and patted his shoulder gently. “Well, get used to it. Because I’m not going to let you get away with not taking care of yourself. And don’t think I won’t be checking on you if you ever get hurt again.”
He looked at you, the tension in his face easing as he met your gaze. “I’ll try not to get hurt then. Or at least try to let you know before it gets this bad.”
You laughed softly, your eyes crinkling with warmth. “Good. And remember, if you ever need anything—whether it’s help with a cut or just someone to talk to—I’m always here for you.”
Megumi’s heart swelled with a mix of gratitude and affection. Even though he had tried to downplay the situation, your unwavering concern made him feel valued in a way he hadn’t felt before. He knew that no matter what happened, he could always count on you to be by his side.
As you finished bandaging his cut, Megumi felt a strange sense of calm settle over him. For the first time in a long while, he didn’t feel so alone. Maybe it was because of the way you looked at him, or the way you didn’t push him to talk about things he wasn’t ready to share. Or maybe it was just because you were there, offering your help without expecting anything in return.
"Thanks....I guess." he muttered, his voice softer this time, almost shy. He still wasn’t used to letting people in, but for some reason, with you, it didn’t feel so bad.
You smiled again, that same warm smile that made something inside him flutter. "Anytime." you replied, and Megumi knew you meant it. “Let me take care of you again, okay? When this happens.”
“......You didn’t need to—”
You shake your head, smile even wider.  “But I want to, okay?”
He didn’t know how to reply. He rubs the back of his neck. “You’re a weird one.”
“EH!? But I’m not!”
As the two of you sat there, the world seemed to quiet down around him, leaving only the gentle presence of the person who had somehow managed to slip past his defenses and show him a kindness he hadn’t realized he was missing.
Megumi didn’t know what to say. He was used to people either avoiding him or giving him grief for his behavior, but you were different. You weren’t trying to lecture him or push him away. You were just… there, offering your kindness without expecting anything in return.
From that day on, you always treated him with the same patience and understanding, even when he continued to get into trouble. You never judged him, never scolded him. Instead, you listened, offering support when he needed it and giving him space when he didn’t. You seemed to see past the rough exterior, recognizing that there was more to him than just the delinquent reputation he had built.
At first, Megumi didn’t understand why you were so kind to him. He didn’t think he deserved it, and part of him expected you to give up on him eventually. But you never did. No matter how many times he got into trouble, you were always there, offering him a smile or a word of encouragement.
Slowly, he began to soften around you. He started to look forward to the moments when you would seek him out, your presence becoming a source of comfort in his otherwise turbulent life. You became his anchor, the person who made him believe that maybe he wasn’t as bad as he thought.
It wasn’t long before Megumi realized that his feelings for you had grown into something deeper. At first, he had tried to convince himself that what he felt was simply gratitude, an appreciation for the way you treated him with such genuine care and respect. But as time passed, he found himself thinking about you more and more, his thoughts lingering on the little moments you shared.
Like that time in the library, when you had insisted on helping him with his homework. Megumi had been struggling with a particularly difficult problem, his frustration mounting with each failed attempt to solve it. You had noticed his struggle and quietly slid your chair closer to his, gently guiding him through the problem with a patience that both surprised and comforted him.
“There, see? You’re getting it!” you had said, a bright smile lighting up your face as you watched him work through the problem.
Megumi had looked at you then, really looked at you, and something inside him had shifted. It was the way you had been so kind, so encouraging, without a hint of judgment or condescension. The way you had treated him like he mattered, like you genuinely wanted to see him succeed. It was a feeling that was foreign to him, yet it warmed him from the inside out.
Another moment had come when the two of you were walking home from school. It had started to rain unexpectedly, and Megumi had cursed himself for not bringing an umbrella. But before he could worry too much, you had pulled out your own and held it over both of you, smiling up at him as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
“Come on, let’s share. Can’t have you getting soaked.” you had said, your voice cheerful despite the downpour.
As the two of you walked side by side, your shoulders brushing occasionally, Megumi had felt his heart do a strange little flip. He hadn’t been able to stop himself from glancing at you out of the corner of his eye, noticing the way the raindrops clung to your hair, how your smile remained unwavering despite the weather.
In that moment, something had clicked for him. It wasn’t just your kindness that drew him to you—it was the way you made him feel safe, understood, and… cared for.
The realization had hit him one afternoon when you both were at the park. You had been talking animatedly about something, your hands gesturing as you spoke, your eyes sparkling with excitement.
Fushiguro Megumi had been content to just listen, watching the way your expressions changed with every word. And then, without warning, you had turned to him, catching him completely off guard with a look of such warmth and affection that it nearly knocked the breath out of him.
“What?” you had asked, laughing lightly when you noticed the way he was staring.
Megumi had opened his mouth to respond, but no words had come out. Instead, he had felt a strange mix of emotions bubbling up inside him—nervousness, excitement, something that felt suspiciously like hope. It was then that he realized: this wasn’t just friendship or simple admiration. It was something deeper, something more.
He liked you. A lot.
The thought had sent a rush of warmth through his chest, leaving him both exhilarated and terrified. Megumi wasn’t used to these kinds of feelings, and he wasn’t sure what to do with them. But as he looked at you, standing there with that bright smile on your face, he knew one thing for certain—he wanted to be around you, to make you smile like that as often as he could.
“Nothing.” he had finally managed to say, a small, shy smile tugging at the corners of his lips. “I was just… thinking.”
“Thinking about what?” you had asked, tilting your head curiously.
Megumi had hesitated for a moment, but then he had decided to be honest, even if he couldn’t say everything that was on his mind. “About how… I like spending time with you.”
Your smile had grown even brighter at his words, and you had reached out to lightly punch his arm in that playful way you always did. “Well, I like spending time with you too, Megumi.”
And just like that, Megumi had known that he was done for. He liked you—really liked you. And even though the thought scared him, it also filled him with a strange sense of happiness, one that he wasn’t sure he’d ever felt before. From that moment on, Megumi couldn’t deny it anymore. He liked you, and he wanted to see where these feelings would take him.
Looking back, Megumi often finds himself reflecting on how profoundly different his life might have been if you hadn’t approached him that day. It was a pivotal moment, one that he now sees as the turning point in his journey.
Before you, he had felt like a perpetual outsider—misunderstood, labeled as a troublemaker, and largely ignored by those around him. He had been resigned to his role, to the way people saw him, without much hope for change or growth.
But then you came into his life, a beacon of kindness and patience in a world that had been mostly indifferent. You saw something in him that no one else had—a potential for change, a person worth caring for. Your approach had been gentle but resolute, offering him a friendship and understanding that he hadn’t known he needed.
You didn’t judge him for his mistakes or his quiet demeanor; instead, you reached out to him with a genuine concern for his well-being. It was this unassuming kindness that started to crack open the hardened shell he had built around himself.
Now, years later, Megumi often wonders if he would have ever found the strength to change if it hadn’t been for you. He thinks about the way you had treated him back then, how your unwavering support had slowly begun to reshape his view of himself.
It was as if you had quietly whispered to him that he was worth something, that he had the potential to be better, and that there was more to him than just the surface-level troubles. And in doing so, you had planted a seed of hope and self-worth that gradually grew into something stronger and more resilient.
As the two of you sit together now, the evening sun casting a warm, golden glow through the window, Megumi can’t help but be reminded of how far he’s come. The comfort and familiarity of your presence have become a cherished part of his life.
He often steals glances at you, unable to fully comprehend just how lucky he is to have someone like you by his side. The way you’re sitting there, so effortlessly at ease, makes his heart swell with a deep affection that words can hardly capture.
You’ve caught him staring more than once, and each time, you respond with that soft, knowing smile that makes his heart skip a beat. It’s a smile that reassures him, that reminds him of the love that started on that day in junior high, when you saw him not as a problem or a troublemaker, but as someone worthy of care and respect. That smile, simple yet profound, continues to be a source of comfort and joy for him, a daily reminder of how much you mean to him.
In those moments, as he looks at you and sees the warmth in your eyes and the gentle curve of your lips, Megumi is filled with a deep sense of gratitude. He thinks about how his life might have been different without your influence, and he realizes just how much you’ve changed him. The love he feels for you is rooted in that initial connection, and it has only grown deeper and stronger with time.
Megumi knows now that the love he has for you began with that first act of kindness you showed him, and it has only been enriched by the years you’ve spent together. As he sits there beside you, basking in the glow of the setting sun and the warmth of your presence, he can’t help but feel that he has found something truly extraordinary—something that started with a simple gesture of care and has blossomed into a love that he never thought possible.
You lean in slightly, noticing how quiet he’s been. "Megumi. Oiiiiiii, Megu–Megu~ Gumiiiiii!”
He sighed, looking at you. You have energy again, after resting. “What is it?”
“You truly okay?" you ask, your voice gentle and inviting.
He hesitates, his cheeks turning a light shade of pink. "It’s nothing. Don’t worry about me.” he mumbles, looking down at his hands, fidgeting slightly. "Just thinking about the past. Nostalgia."
You tilt your head, your eyes sparkling with curiosity and affection. You smiled. "You’re always so cute, Megumi.” You sighed, as you reached out gently to touch his hand. ”You’ve been staring at me all evening. If you have something to say, you can tell me, okay?”
Megumi swallows, gathering his courage. "It’s just… your eyes…" he finally says, his voice barely above a whisper. "They’re… really beautiful. And just…..you. I think how lucky I am to be with you.”
You blink in surprise, not expecting such a heartfelt compliment from him. "Oh, my beloved Megumi." you murmur, feeling a warmth spread through your chest. "Thank you."
Megumi slowly looks up at you then, his own eyes filled with a tender sincerity that makes your heart flutter. He took a breath before letting his eyes wander at the sight of you, his beloved marvel. His wonder in life. He gives you a faint smile.
"When you look at me like that… it feels like I’m seeing stars." he continues, his voice growing softer, more vulnerable. "Like… every time I see your eyes, it’s the most beautiful part of my day. And… I don’t know how to say this right, but… it’s like there’s love shining behind them, so much that it feels like heaven."
Your heart swells with emotion, and you squeeze his hand gently. You lifted his hand to your lips and looked at him tenderly as you pressed your lips against the top of his hand. He doesn’t know when his heart will calm down. But when it’s you, he doubts if it will ever happen.
"Megumi, that’s one of the sweetest things you’ve ever said to me." you reply, your voice filled with warmth. "And just so you know, when I look at you, I feel the same way. You make every day feel like the brightest one I’ve ever had. Because when I look at you, I ask, ‘how did I deserve this boy?’ Because, you’re too good to me.”
He smiles shyly, his blush deepening as he takes in your words. "I’m glad….that you feel like I do too." he murmurs, his fingers intertwined with yours.
"I always will." You reassured him, grinning at him lovingly.
"I… I’m not good with words, but I want you to know how much you mean to me. Every time you look at me, it’s like… it’s like I’m the luckiest person in the world."
You lean in closer, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. "You don’t have to say much, Megumi. I can see it in your eyes too." you whisper, your breath warm against his skin. “That’s more than enough for me, know that. Okay?”
Megumi’s heart swells, and for a moment, he forgets about his usual shyness. "I love you." he says softly, the words slipping out before he can stop them. “More than you’ll ever know.”
Your smile widens, your eyes shining even brighter. "I love you too, Megumi." you reply, your voice filled with the same sincerity and warmth that he sees in your gaze every day.
And in that moment, with your hands intertwined and your eyes locked, Fushiguro Megumi knows that there’s nothing more beautiful than the love you both share. And he truly believes that. He thinks that you’re the love of his life. And he has no intention of letting you go.
Megumi's heart races as the words hang in the air between you. He's never been the best at expressing his feelings, but something about being with you makes it easier—like the words come naturally when you're around. You pull back slightly, just enough to look into his eyes again, your own filled with the same warmth and love that makes his heart flutter.
"You know, Megumi." you start, your voice soft and affectionate, "I always feel like I’m the luckiest person too. Because even when you're quiet or shy, I can feel everything you don’t say in the way you look at me. It’s like you’re telling me a million things with just a glance."
He bites his lip, trying to find the right words to respond. "It’s hard for me to… say things out loud sometimes. And it’s hard to be honest at times." he admits, his gaze lowering for a moment before meeting yours again. "But when I’m with you, it feels different. Because when I’m with you, I’m just….me.”
You smile at him, a soft, understanding smile that makes him feel even more at ease. "You don’t have to say everything, Megumi." you reassure him. "I can see it in your actions, in the way you care for me, and in those beautiful eyes of yours. You’re always telling me how you feel, even when you think you’re not. I love that about you, don’t worry.”
Megumi blushes, the compliment making him feel a mix of embarrassment and joy. "You… you think my eyes are beautiful?" he asks, his voice small, almost disbelieving.
"Of course I do." you reply, leaning in to rest your forehead against his. "They’re one of my favorite things about you. They’re so expressive, even when you’re being quiet. I can always tell what you’re feeling just by looking into them. Your eyelashes too. They’re always pretty!”
His breath hitches at the closeness, your words making his heart swell with emotion. "I… I’m glad you think that." he murmurs, his eyes locked onto yours. "Because… When I look at you, I see everything I could ever want.”
Your heart skips a beat at his confession, and you close the small distance between you, pressing a tender kiss to his lips. It’s soft, sweet, and full of the love that you both share, a love that needs no words to be understood.
When you pull back, you see that Megumi’s face is a deep shade of red, but there’s a small, content smile on his lips that makes your heart soar. "You really know how to say the perfect thing, don’t you?" you tease lightly, brushing a stray strand of hair away from his face.
He chuckles softly, his shyness momentarily forgotten as he looks at you with nothing but affection. "Only because it’s you." he replies, his voice steady and full of sincerity. "You make it easy."
You both sit there for a moment, just enjoying the comfort of each other’s presence. Megumi’s hand is still entwined with yours, and he gives it a gentle squeeze, as if to remind himself that this is real—that you’re real, and that you’re his.
"I never thought I’d be this happy, you know?" he admits quietly, almost as if he’s afraid that saying it out loud might break the spell. "But with you… it’s like every day is a dream."
You smile, your heart swelling with love for the boy who, despite his quiet demeanor, has given you more happiness than you ever imagined. "Then let’s keep dreaming together, Megumi." you whisper, leaning in for another kiss. "Because I never want this to end."
The warmth of the setting sun bathed the room in a golden hue, casting a gentle glow that seemed to amplify the intimacy of the moment. Megumi and you were nestled comfortably together, sharing a quiet sense of peace that had settled between you. This was paradise, Megumi thinks. This was heaven on earth. You and you alone, in his arms — he could not ask for anything more.
Megumi glanced at you again, his eyes reflecting the soft light. “What good did I do to be with you?”
You tilted your head, smiling at him with a mixture of curiosity and affection. “Why do you say that? What makes you feel that way? You did everything good. You do deserve me."
He hesitated, his gaze falling to the floor as he tried to find the right words. “It’s just… you’ve always been there for me, even when I didn’t really know what I needed. I was so closed off and messed up back then. But you saw something in me, something I didn’t even see in myself.”
You reached out, gently placing your hand on his cheek to lift his gaze to meet yours. “I saw a person who needed kindness and understanding, and I’m really glad I could be there for you. But you did the hard part, Megumi. You changed and grew, and that’s all you.”
He shook his head slightly, his eyes never leaving yours. “I couldn’t have done it without you. And now, every day with you feels like a gift. I keep thinking about how different things could have been if you hadn’t come into my life. It’s overwhelming sometimes.”
You chuckled softly, your fingers brushing his hair back from his forehead. “Well, I’m glad I did. And I’m glad you’re here with me now. It’s like we were meant to find each other, don’t you think?”
Megumi nodded slowly, his expression thoughtful. “Yeah, it does feel like that. I keep thinking about how we met and how everything just seemed to fall into place after that. It’s like you were the missing piece I didn’t know I needed.”
Your eyes sparkled with affection as you leaned closer. “And you were the person who showed me what it means to be patient and understanding. We’ve both learned so much from each other.”
He smiled, a rare, genuine smile that made his eyes crinkle at the corners. “You’ve made me a better person. I feel like I’ve become more open, more willing to trust and care. It’s all because of you.”
Your heart swelled at his words, and you wrapped your arms around him in a gentle hug. “I’m just glad I could be a part of your journey. And I’m excited for everything that’s still to come for us.”
Megumi returned the hug, holding you close as if he never wanted to let go. “Me too. I want to make sure I’m always there for you, supporting you just like you’ve supported me. I don’t want you to ever doubt how much you mean to me.”
You pulled back slightly to look into his eyes, a soft smile playing on your lips. “You don’t have to worry about that. I know exactly how much I mean to you. And I’ll always be here for you, just like you’ve always been there for me.”
As the two of you sat together, the warmth of the setting sun casting a gentle glow over the room, Megumi felt an overwhelming sense of contentment. He knew that with you by his side, every day would be brighter, every challenge more bearable.
And as he looked into your eyes, he realized that the love he felt was a constant, reassuring presence—one that made everything feel right in the world.

“can we do that again” with megumi
megumi’s eyes widen as you pull back. your scent no longer clouding him or his senses anymore, now only specks of it wavering in his brain, a distant feeling as he watches you smile and place your hands behind your back.
a small sound of surprise leaves him as his fingers come up to brush against his lips, the phantom pair of your own still buzzing against his where you had quickly kissed him.
his eyebrows furrow as his head tilts down with a soft scoff. “if you’re gonna kiss me, at least give me a warning beforehand,” he mumbles.
you feign a sulking expression, tilting your head as you lean down further — only trying to get his attention ( and although it might not seem like it sometimes, his attention is always on you).
“you don’t like my kisses, ‘gumi?”
sea green irises flit up to you immediately, narrowed and skeptical as they try to decrypt what game you’re playing at. you struggle to resist the urge to crack a smile at the way his lips tug into a small pout.
“i never said that—“
“i can’t believe you’d say that. here all this time, i really thought you had loved me,” head hung low, you place a hand on your chest delicately, right where you’re heart would be as you face away from him. his confused pout morphs into a scowl as you remind him of a certain white haired teacher that you’ve definitely been spending too much time with, he thinks.
“tch, just come here then,” megumi says. he leans over to put his arm in front of your waist, blocking your moving form to the exit as you look down at him. he doesn’t return your gaze; simply nudging his arm against you to gently push you in his direction, plopping down between his legs as you bounce from the plushness of his dorm’s bed.
“eh? so bold. didn’t expect this from you, megs—“
“shut up,” he groans.
you tilt your head back to look at him ( probably craning your neck in the process but you convince yourself it’s alright because he’s megumi ), watching as his sharp eyes squint at you whilst you smile, a big grin on display for him that almost makes the scowl on his face falter for a bit.
“d’you just want a kiss? you could’ve just said so,” you tease.
“be quiet,” he flicks the side of your head. you could’ve sworn you could see the pink of blush dusting his cheeks as he turned his face away. but instead of complying, you persist ( like usual ).
you shuffle around so that you’re facing megumi, flipping your previous position completely as you lean in to embarrass him further — relishing in the way he holds his hand up so you can’t see his face in your view. even if he knows that you’ll move your head every which way to try and see him anyway.
you poke at his shoulder to try and get him to cave. “ah? you know you need to ask before i—“
and before you know it, clammy hands find their way to your face as they cup your cheeks in hand — a steady pair of lips in contrast pressing themselves against yours in a soft kiss. his hand slides from resting on your cheek to being buried in your hair, exhaling shakily as he feels you grin against his lips.
and as the two of you part; you laugh breathlessly, snaking your hand on the nape of megumi’s neck in a way that makes him shudder before you press your forehead against his. “can we do that again?”
jade eyes dart along your face. perhaps flitting around as a form of trying to detect any falsities within your form, finding only nothing but adoration in your features.
feeling a foreign heat crawl its way up his ears at the way you softly scratch at the hairs that stand up on the back of his neck, he huffs. “tch,” his hand finds your cheek — and with his last breath before bruised lips meet yours, he mutters out a small, “dork.”

𓆩⟡ cupid’s play and forced confessions. ⟡𓆪
﹒⪩ megumi fushigiro.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
≪ ◦ ❖ ◦ ≫ - now playing “From The Start” // Laufey
warning! all lowercase.
a big, fat crush. that’s what it is.
megumi isn’t as discreet as he’d argue he is, nor does it take much observation to notice the hearts that practically pepper his dazed eyes whenever your figure enters his sight; or whenever your honey-laced voice reaches his ears.
it was the usual - prolonged stares from across the room, lingering touches when his burning hands graze your delicate ones, sloppy excuses stated messily just to loiter around in your presence a tad bit longer, pink-tinted cheeks from just a greeting of yours that's directed towards him, always keeping you in his peripheral vision on missions and bombarding you with numerous questions regarding your physical well-being; oftentimes followed up by another five million “are you sure you’re alright?”s.
again, it doesn’t take a particularly intelligent person to recognize these signs. on that note, after yuji and nobara catch on, it’s out of the question to keep them from playing matchmaker and meddling in their dear friends' romantic business. knowing megumi all too well to know that their coward of a companion wouldn’t dare make a move, they began scheming together in secret.
occasionally, you’d hear your name being called from afar in a cheery tone by nobara, beckoning you over with a wave and claiming that “fushigiro has something to say to you~!”
you’d turn your head with a smile, seeing megumi's eyes widen for a split second at the girl’s statement, before he’d pinch his nose bridge. as you’d come closer, nobara would suddenly wear a troubled expression on her face, following it up with an anxious “shit-! i forgot i had to be somewhere!” offering no elaborate explanation before running off into the distance, leaving you alone with a fuming megumi.
he’d panic, looking anywhere but into your gorgeous eyes that look at him so sickly sweet. you’d both stand in awkward silence for a few moments, you being completely oblivious to the mess that’s running through the flustered teen’s head; oblivious to how hard he’s struggling to say anything but those three stupid words that he’s terrified of accidentally blurting out. it would be tremendously mortifying; according to him, at least.
at last, he’d finally interrupt the silence. “you... uh━” he’d hesitate, rubbing the back of his neck.
“you did well on yesterday’s mission. good━… good job.” you’d hear him mumble before promptly turning around and escaping the embarrassing scene with hurried steps, stuffing his hands in his pockets to hide the nervous fidgeting he’d pray you hadn’t noticed.
occasionally, you’d be minding your own business while listening to the trio’s banter - yuji and nobara’s, for the main part. you would smile to yourself like a proud parent watching over their silly little kids from afar. you’d momentarily turn your back to the chaotic mess of a friend group, not letting much time pass before you’d feel something - or rather someone - bump into you from behind. it wasn’t a hard hit, just a little nudge, but still enough for you to look back curiously, wondering what happened.
there you’d see a fuming megumi again, eye nearly twitching from anger and rather obvious veins appearing on his forehead. he’d quickly apologize with an ashamed bow of his head, his eyes softening up when he’d look back up at you, hearing your chuckle as you’d claim that it’s nothing to worry about. still wanting to make sure that his name is cleared for you, he’d explain himself hurriedly.
“itadori pushed me… sorry again.” would be the last thing you’d hear from him before he’d run off to chase after a proud and smug yuji, yelling that he’d punch him for real this time.
occasionally, on movie nights where you’d be the last one to enter the room where everyone would be seated, nobara - who would purposefully always sit beside megumi - would scoot to the side, claiming the last available spot aside from the seat that she’d free up by doing so.
nonchalantly, she’d pat the spot that she just left, smiling at you innocently and indirectly forcing you to sit beside megumi who’d be glaring daggers at her; not that he’d actually complain, but it made him nervous.
he’d completely forget about the movie - the movie that he chose - and instead he’d be hyper-aware of how close you were, of how your shoulder would graze his when you’d shift in your seat, of how you’d lean over him to reach for the popcorn that yuji would purposefully hold far away to tease you, and of how you’d slowly doze off halfway through the movie with your head nodding off towards nobara.
his feelings would instantly run loose without a leash. he’d feel jealousy bubbling up in his body when he’d eye your head resting peacefully on nobara’s shoulder, though afterwards he’d quickly slap himself mentally, scolding himself for wishing that you’d sleep contentedly on him instead.
it was torturous.
both for megumi to feel and for his friends to witness. he knew himself well enough to know that he was not going to dare utter a single word about his feelings to you; not on his own, at least.
as infuriatingly awkward and frustrating as it was, half of him was still grateful for the ‘help’ he received from nobara and yuji. the other half, however, wanted to believe that it was just a ‘middle-school crush’-phase that he’d forget and move on from in no time.
but the two cupids would not allow that as megumi now finds himself blindfolded, grumbling annoyed as he lets yuji drag him somewhere.
“this better be worth my time, itadori…”
he groans, sighing and questioning why he’s even playing along to his friend’s antics. after walking for a while, his blindfold is taken off and he immediately recognizes the room number. the two boys are standing in front of your room.
he doesn’t even get a second to ask questions before yuji shoves a bouquet of flowers into his hand, dramatically increasing the amount of questions that stuff his head. yet again, megumi is given approximately zero seconds to act as his eyes widen in pure terror when he sees yuji’s hand knock on your door.
“don’t fumble this, buddy.”
yuji chuckles, his free hand patting megumi on the shoulder. megumi’s pupils are still diluted, his head having processed none of this yet as yuji runs away, disappearing around a corner at the end of the hallway.
god, this can not be happening.
megumi gulps the immediate moment you swing the door open with a heart-meltingly sweet smile, humming a little “mm?”.
his mind goes blank. all the rational planning, what to say, what to do, is thrown right out the window. he awkwardly stands there, the tips of his ears burning bright red and his hand clenching around the poor bouquet.
sweat beads up on his nape while his lips part, trying to come up with something, anything, to say in order to get himself out of this situation with his heart still intact. however, he ends up deeming each possible excuse useless, biting down on his tongue as to hold in the silly words that threaten to spill out.
what is he supposed to do? to say? shit, why can’t he think properly?
“megu…?” you call out in that adorable voice of yours. you tilt your head at him, the inner corners of your eyebrows tugged up as a sweet yet uncertain smile plays at your lips, confusion written all over your face.
still receiving no reply from the stunned and flustered boy, you decide to try making it easier for him, giving him a more close-ended question.
“those flowers are so pretty~! who are they for?” you chirp curiously and point at the bundle of flowers in his hands. oh did you make everything so much harder for him than it already was, just by existing.
nonetheless, he finally gets himself together to hold them out for you.
“they’re, uh━… they’re for you…” he maffles, face burning up. when he finally gathers the courage to look you in the eyes, he instantly melts, seeing the way your face lights up and your eyes practically sparkle, holding galaxies behind them. with a smile, wider than before, you accept the bouquet enthusiastically. you stuff your nose into the middle of the floral gift and inhale the soothing scent.
“that’s so sweet, thank you! why, though?”
that’s when his brain short-circuits, again. for the love of god, can you stop making him feel like a grade schooler again? think, megumi, think. say anything.
“‘cause you’re cute.”
he blurts out, sounding far more confident than he should have been, given his current state of mind. immediately he wants to do nothing more but to crawl into a little hole and cry.
maybe say anything but that, you idiot.
well, now it's your turn to freeze up and stare at him with wide eyes. this interaction is most painful for anyone else to witness, not that it isn’t already awkward enough for the two of you.
“i━… thank you! i think… you are as well…” your voice trails off at the end, but it couldn’t ring any clearer in megumi’s ears.
you think he’s cute? you? he actually has a chance with you? he might as well just pass out on the spot, right then and there.
that thought was enough to give the confidence he needed to place all his bets, going all in.
“let me take you out sometime.” he states bluntly, sounding more like a command than an offer.
“s━sure…!” you chirp cheerfully, acting as if your heart didn’t just skip a beat and as if you didn’t nearly choke on just the sheer straightfowardness of the young boy’s claim.
and before the tremendously awkward tension can eat away what's left of megumi’s pride - if there even is any - he stiffly turns to his side, once again shoving his burning hands into his pockets as he walks away with relieved steps, letting out a long sigh that he had been holding in. as the realization of the entire situation dawns on him, he groans, hiding his flustered face in his hands while he absentmindedly continues to walk through the hallways.
“good job, fushigiro!”
“shut up…”

HIS BODY
Back in ch 156 we got a sneak peek of my guys abs and lord. HE IS TONED. He’s in between of having a thick build or slim. He’s not overly buff but he’s not lanky either. He’s got muscle. He doesn’t have that hourglass shape but his muscles are still an eye candy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
HIS HANDS
I see megs having boney, veiny, but something thick hands. They’re not really slim but they’re long. HES SO VEINY LIKE OMG. I can’t stress it enough but he def wears rings here and there. Usually if you buy him some he’ll never take em off (swears it’s a promise ring)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
HIS STYLE
I’m sorry but he just wants to be comfy😭 He LIVESSS in his sweatpants/hoodies. But if it’s any other occasion he still wears very loose baggy clothing. Just like gege said he loves to wear clothes that are more for around the house. (He looks hot in everything though)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
HIS FACE
Being realistic. Megs hair is not all spiky, maybe if he styles it but it just naturally falls like his father’s. Other than that, he has SUCH a sharp jawline like Jesus Christ. He’s also got those slim tired eyes and pale skin. His nose is so perfect to like it’s a little pointy and long. Then to top it all off his beautifully long lashes. I also seen him having a deep cupids bow, his lips are PERFECT. (He was just born pretty)

What do you think about pumpkin carving with bodyguard!Megumi? I can picture reader making a mess with pumpkin guts, and Megumi secretly hates the mess but loves reader too much to ruin their fun.
Bodyguard Megumi: pumpkin carving
A/N: oof it’s been a while since I posted some Megumi content hope you enjoy! 💗
Tumblr media
It didn’t take much convincing to make your sorcerer fiancé to join you for pumpkin carving, but that’s probably because he’s the biggest simp ever.
Megumi’s dark piercing eyes continuously flicker to your hand holding the knife, trying his best not to be overprotective but it’s second nature, so he fails easily. “Be careful with the knife y/n” he mutters.
You giggle when you turn your attention towards him only to find he’s just shamelessly staring at you now, which was something you were already used to though.
“I’m fine Megumi, stop being such a worry wart!”
“I’m not” Megumi states firmly, but it’s hard to believe that.
He turns his attention back to the pumpkin in front of him momentarily but he made no move to carve it, after all, he wasn’t interested in pumpkin carving, he was interested in you.
He silently turns his attention back to you, eyebrows furrowing when he’s realised the mess you’ve made with the pumpkin guts. “Stop making a mess you silly girl” he scolds half heartedly, pinching your cheek before the lovesick sorcerer cleans up your mess.
You open your mouth to retort but instead you decided to tease your lover just a little, makes things more fun right?
You grab some of the pumpkin guts and throw it towards him, the orange pulp landing on his pale hands. His head immediately turns towards you, shooting you an unimpressed glare with an eyebrow raised.
“Oi-“
“Whoopsie! Sorry gumi, just helping you clean the mess” you say with a cheeky smile which seemed a bit too mischievous to be innocent.
He’s frowning but it became a bit too hard to keep his resolve as he notices you bite your pretty plush lips to prevent yourself from laughing. God, you’re so fucking cute even when you’re being a gremlin.
“You think you’re so fucking funny don’t you?” he asks, tilting his head ever so slightly.
You gleam in pride at his words, “thats because I am the funniest gumi”, flipping your hair to add emphasis. His fingers impulsively reach out to play with the ends of your hair.
“Oh yeah?”
“Yeah” You say unable to fight off your smile.
Megumi flashes a smile back, before speaking “only thing funny about you is the pumpkin guts stuck to your chin”
Your eyes widen as your hands immediately fumble around your chin, trying to wipe off any excess. And in your hurry, you miss the handsome smirk on Megumi’s face as he watches you.
“Here let me help you” he offers.
But as his veiny hands grabs your chin, you gasp as he pushes it upwards and presses himself against your lips instead. You’re surprised but you kiss back until you both pull away for air.
“Gotcha”
“Perv” you huff.
He chuckles while he leans back and puts his hands back in his pocket. He hides half his face back in his jumper to hide his smile as usual.
“You liar, I never had anything stuck to my chin” you say with a pout, now leaning forward and pressing yourself on his muscular chest.
“You lie all the time” he retorts as his arms snake around your waist to help you into his lap.
“Not true! I only lie about my grades!” You admit, as you wrap your arms around his broad shoulders.
“Mhm sure” he says dryly as he feeds you some of the pumpkin pulp. Smiling at you as you munch on it like a chipmunk.
“Cutie” he mutters as he presses a kiss to the corner of your lips.

(HC's) Student Council President! Fushiguro Megumi

Tumblr media
He is very strict. At school, he always follows the rules. He doesn't tolerate anything.
Surprisingly, despite his stern demeanor, his voice is very gentle, earning him respect from everyone.
Sometimes you might struggle to catch his words, and it's almost as if he were whispering or murmuring something.
He's the captain of the baseball team, and he has a fan club.
Actively participating in social events and helping students in need. He has generously helped your club's activity by recruiting new members.
A model student in school, he is also one of the smartest students in the top 10. All the students find him attractive.
Always dressed in a tidy uniform. He ensures a pleasant smell by using a quality softener. Also, you can't see dirt on his shoes!
He also shares a close bond with the young teacher, Gojo Satoru, and is always with him in the library. Sometimes, if you are lucky, you will find them in the bookstore or bakery near the school.
You'll find him on his bike and go home with the vice-captain of the baseball team, Itadori Yuuji.
Or maybe, during times when he's feeling down, he might eat lunch alone while drowning himself in romantic music.
He loves animals, and he leads a club activity dedicated to rescuing stray animals, providing them with nice food and safe shelter. The principal allows him to do that.
You love watching him during his baseball team's matches. Passionately cheering and shouting his name. Even if you're not officially a part of his fan club, your love for him is still floating in the air.
Perhaps he notices your motive, realizing your affection and feeling your love, and there's a chance that he's aware of it. Yet he maintains silence, choosing not to acknowledge your admiration.
Sometimes you'll find him strolling by your classroom, walking like a fragile flower in your hands. So... beautiful. It was almost like an angel—too much love. With Yuuji and Inumaki-senpai following side by side, he looks so friendly.
On other days, you'll see him accompanied by Gojo-sensei, his hands holding a mountain of papers and blabbering, protesting, and showering his dear teacher with a flame of anger.
Meanwhile, you just sit there alone, resting your chin on your palm, lost in daydreams of a happy ending with Fushiguro Megumi.
Despite his contributions to your club activity, your interactions with Megumi always remain the same. Just casual conversation—nothing extraordinary, nothing special.
Yet an undeniable feeling popped into your head, flowing through your mind and pouring into your hands. Your admiration has blossomed into something ethereal. It's so divine and endearing. You couldn't find any good words to describe them.
Perhaps...
...love?
In the evening, when the sun goes down and is replaced by the hues of twilight and crimson, you find Megumi standing behind your locker. With his arms folded across his chest, he leans with effortless poise.
"Oh... you," he utters. A smile rendered his features. It was a smile you'd never seen on his frame. It's not just a smile. You almost saw the star in his eyes, or probably the color of a rainbow.
You wait for Megumi to finish his sentence. His hesitation lingers, tangled in a thick atmosphere, and he is surrounded by the sounds of the autumn breeze.
Finally, he breaks the silence. "There's something I need to talk about with you. Perhaps it might seem inappropriate or weird. But... I have to say this because Gojo-sensei told me so."
"About what, Fushiguro-kun?"
"You know I've consistently supported your club activities, and it's not like I expected repayment. I've just come to realize why you always hold a top position on my priority list."
He sighed and smiled. "I often believed it was my hobby of helping others that led me to do everything for your club. Yet, I'm just realizing that it's more than that. Your smiles during our conversation bring me joy, and I love when you say 'thank you' to me. Despite it being only a simple conversation, I truly cherish these moments we share."
"I love to see you cheering for me during my baseball match, and I always set my eyes on you from the bench. Despite how stupid I am during games, I try my best to make you proud of me."
"...and," he stopped, then gazed at you gently. "Gojo-sensei thinks I might be in love with you because everything you do always warms the empty side of my heart. So I want to know if you feel the same as me. I love you, and what about you?"

Can i request for JJK HCs of Yuta, Yuji, and Megumi with a Huohuo (from HSR) like reader? I was inspired by Huohuo trailer where she gets possessed by Tail and exorcised a spirit with a technique that reminds me of the Domain Expansion from JJK.
Context:
So the reader accidentally became a vessel for a powerful cursed spirit (which is tail) when they were 6 years old. Immediately, they were taken in custody by the Tokyo Jujutsu High. Like Yuji and Yuta, they were at first planned to be executed but thankfully Gojo stepped in and ensure they do not receive that fate (they're a child for God sake) and put them under his care.
Now they are 13 years old and are now beginning to go to the field because of their abilities which are the same ones Huohuo has in game and also they can exorcise cursed spirits when Tail possess them (with consent) like during Huohuo's trailer
Now how do those three react to meeting the reader and realized they are a crybaby and pretty young and why the hell is a child is on the field rn??? (The elders forced it, despite Gojo doing everything he could)
How do those three react that despite being young and a scaredy cat, the reader is actually pretty strong?
How do those three react to seeing Tail being mean to the reader and it being crystal clear that he does care for them like a father?
I remembered you saying that despite not doing any HSR request, readers who are based on HSR characters for request on other fandoms were still acceptable. If i remembered wrong, sorry 😅, you can just ignore this request or put it in the pending waitlist. Hope you have a good day/night though
- Flower Anon 🌸
Hello flower Anon!! Sorry that this took so long to complete. Work has been torturing me as usual, so yeah, please forgive me. I really love this request, though, especially as it has Yuta in it, who's one of my favorites, lol.
Also, these are technically not headcanons and just small stories for the characters, but I've been desperate to write more, so I hope that's okay with you and that you'll like them!!<33
Content: Platonic relationships, preteen reader, mentions of battles, cursing, kinda unserious, sfw
Reader has no mentioned pronouns!

》YUTA OKKOTSU
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yuta was a little bewildered at first when he saw a kid shakily appear onto the battlefield, clearly scared and terrified of the curses that surrounded them. He opened his mouth to tell you to get away and hide, when suddenly a curse in the form of a tail swished into view behind you, clearly annoyed at how you were acting.
"They're not going to exorcize themselves, you know? Get it together and attack them already!" It hissed, making you whimper and quickly wave your flag in terror when a curse attempted to injure you. The tail curse then suddenly posessed you quicker than Yuta could move to save you. Its energy was so strong, however, that it made the teen freeze in surprise. One swipe of your hand essentially disintegrated the curse on the spot.
"Just... who are you?" Yuta asked carefully, arms crossed patiently for answer, when you two got out of the danger zone. You nervously fidgeted under his gaze and went to speak when Mr. Tail beat you to it quite rudely. "Why does it matter to you? The kid got enough to deal with because of you weirdos, so give them a break." He said, making the older boy raise a brow in interest. It seemed like you two had something in common, even if Rika's care for Yuta was alot... kinder, if you could say that.
On your walk back to the school, you told him all about your origins and what got you here in the first place. At the sound of the elders having a hand in this, he couldn't help but sigh. That wasn't all too surprising somehow. He was just glad that the curse you were posessed by seemed to genuinely care for you, despite his uncaring and rude attitude.
"Well... if you want, I can help train you-" "-Absolutely not!-" "-Mr. Taillll!" At your exasperated, teary eyed plea, the curse couldn't help but roll his eyes and give in anyways. "Fine... but no funny business, got it?" Yuta gave you a playful and amused smile as he raised his arms in faux defeat.
"I wouldn't dare to."

》YUJI ITADORI
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yuji tried dragging you off the battlefield before you could even show off your abilities, thinking you were simply a lost child, until Mr. Tail eventually was sick of your one-sided arguing in which you were just nervously trying to stutter out the reason for your appearance, whilst the pink haired sorcerer attempted to "scold" you for being there. "Ey you! Let the damned kid go!" He yelled out, making both of you pause.
Shivering in fear, you quickly tried to make up excuses, considering that you've heard more than enough from Yuji and the curse he was a vessel for. But Mr. Tail clearly didn't care enough. "Huh?? Woah, your tail can speak?? Wait, you have a tail-" "-I'm a curse, dumbass!" Yuji blinked before a bright grin crossed his face. "Oh wow! So we're both possessed by a rude curse? Haha, we have so much in common already!" You attempt to smile back shakily but were clearly too anxious to keep it up for long. Especially when you were still surrounded by evil curses practically waiting to attack you.
"Well, anyways, you look pretty young, so you can't be the backup Gojo talked about..." "U-uhm... actually, we are the backup..." "Oh... that's cool then! Show me what you got!" Mr. Tail deadpanned in annoyance, absolutely over this already, as he simply possessed you and took care of the enemy curses himself.
Once he was done doing so, and he finally let you return to normal, Yuji clapped his hand with a determined and proud nod. "Man, we're such a good team, you know?" Mr. Tail felt a vaij pop then as he narrowed his eyes in agitation. "You didn't even do anything!" "Yes, I did! You just weren't looking-" "Oh you little-" The rest of the walk was filled with the two bickering with a teary-eyed and trembling you stuck in the middle.
At least you gained an unlikely friend who was just like you... kind of-

》MEGUMI FUSHIGURO
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Megumi already knew and heard about you long before you entered the battle zone. Gojo had been the one who told him of you, asking him to keep an eye out in case you couldn't handle it anymore due to your rather anxious nature. But what he didn't except was how young you actually were. Raising a brow and crossing his arms, he looked at your shaky form in front of him, which was clearly doing everything it could to not look him in the eyes.
"So... You're the backup?" "Uhm... yes...?" "Hm." Despite knowing that the elders forced you to come here, he still didn't feel too confident or good about this. Sending a child onto a suicide mission was on brand for them, however, so he supposed that being very surprised would be wrong too. It was unfortunately expected.
"What the hell are you looking at them like that for?" The curse that you introduced as Mr. Tail hissed out harshly, obviously very unamused by the entire situation himself. Shrugging, Megumi simply shoved his hands into his pockets before turning to enter the building your mission would take place in. "Nothing. I just don't think they should join, if they're scared." He said, referencing the tears that were about to spill from your eyes, including the clear trembling of your body in fear. You absolutely didn't want to be here. Not that he could blame you.
"But... I have to. Otherwise, the elders will..." You trailed off, head hanging low as you found yourself unable to finish that grimm sentence. Megumi paused in his step, head turning slightly to look back at your defeated form. You were strong, far stronger than most were at your age. And your predicament reminded him of a certain friend of his.
Sighing, he scratched his head in speaking up again and continuing on his way. "Fine. Come with me, but stay close and only use your cursed technique when I tell you to." You looked up in surprise and followed after him quickly, feeling somewhat grateful despite the terror that he gave you and Mr. Tail a chance after all.

crawling back to you- fushiguro megumi
Tumblr media
just something silly I started a while back that I'm finally finishing up!! i'm very in love with megumi and since I was doing a season one rewatch with my dad, I have plenty of megumi-centered thoughts I can't talk abt with him. but I can write them!! and YES okay the title was a failed bug pun.
warnings: just fluff! death of a spider, though. megumi is a little annoyed, but it gets resolved super fast, so no angst at all.
gn! reader, no specified gender or physical description, but they do stay in the girl's dorms for this fic for the sole purpose of being nobara's next door neighbour!!
Tumblr media
You opened your door and stopped in your tracks when you saw something scuttle across the ceiling from the corner of your eye.
A loud gasp was released and Nobara, already in her PJs, peeked out from her door to see what the fuss was. “Y/n? You okay?”
You frantically beckon her over, your eyes never leaving the beast that decided to infiltrate your room. She made it to your side and followed your eyes.
“Ew! Why’d you have to show me a spider right as I’m about to go to bed? Now I’m going to be paranoid all night, thanks a lot.” She crossed her arms and made a yuck face.
“Nobara,” you started, deadly serious, clutching her arm. “I need you to use your hammer and nails to get this thing. We don’t have to get close to it that way.”
She looked as though she was seriously considering it for a moment before reluctantly shaking her head. “Y/n, cursed energy is for jujutsu work, not creepy crawlies. Besides, it’d leave some nasty holes in your wall.”
You sighed and almost resigned yourself to having to find a long stick or something to get it with. But then she spoke again.
“What about Fushiguro? He brings out his demon dog for you to play with all the time, right? What’s one more non-curse related job for a frog who’d probably love a snack?”
This finally brought your attention away from the eight legged monster on your ceiling. You looked at her with so much admiration and thanks and hugged her tightly. “Oh, Nobara you’re a genius! Thank y-“
You visibly deflated when you realized that your boyfriend wasn’t exactly happy with you at that moment.
Nobara winced. “Ouch, is he still upset?”
You nodded and frowned. Of course this would happen at a time you didn’t have him as back up.
It was a petty argument that got you into this situation- in the shared kitchen for the students, you accidentally ate a snack of his that he had been saving, which you apologized for. Great! Should’ve been over with after that, right?
…Except you accidentally did it again the next day AND forgot to put his milk back in the fridge that he had just measured out for some recipe he was excited to try.
And even though you apologized and he reassured you that it wasn’t that big of a deal, mistakes happen, he still wasn't letting you hang out in his room after training as usual. He seemed to be annoyed with you at the very least.
With the long week he’s had from being sent on two missions back to back, you understood why. He really need the mental break that you accidentally took away.
So yeah, you really doubted that he’d be willing to kill a spider for you when he’d barely even talked to you in the past 24 hours (save for his usual good morning text and a peck on the cheek when he saw you in person).
Nobara patted your back and sighed. "I think you should go ask him anyway. He's probably suffering from Y/n withdrawals by now, you know? Yuuji said he was sure he caught Fushiguro pouting on their jog earlier. Could be a good sign."
You looked at her hopefully and smiled. "Thanks, Nobara, but I think I'll just wait until morning. I'm sure if I could just find a-" your attention was drawn back to the ceiling and a feeling of dread washed over you. "Nope, I'm going right now, the spider's fucking gone," you quickly shut your door and stepped away.
She made a blended noise of disgust and fear. "Alright, I'm out. Good luck and don't let that thing out. If I see it in my room tomorrow I'm putting my nails through your clothes." She waved and headed back to her room.
You waved back and headed the other direction, towards the boy's dorms. Since it was getting late, you had to be mindful of noise so you wouldn't get caught by any faculty member- especially Gojo.
If he were to catch you "sneaking" over to Megumi's room, you were pretty sure you'd never hear the end of it, and even more sure that it would just irritate your boyfriend further.
So you put your stealth to the test until you were finally at his door. You quietly knocked three times, hoping it was loud enough for him to hear it.
When he opened the door, he raised an eyebrow at you and checked out in the hall before dragging you inside so you could talk at a somewhat normal volume.
And of course you wanted to take the time to make everything up to him, to talk it out for real and not have him be annoyed at you anymore- if Nobara said he was starting to have Y/n Withdrawals, then you had already been feeling the effects of Megumi Withdrawals since his first mission earlier this week- but right now the most pressing matter on your mind was the spider currently lost in your room.
So you decided that sweet talking him was the way to achieve your goal of getting his help.
"Megumi, love and light of my life, my one and only, my beloved-"
"Please stop."
You got down on your knees and took hold of his hand. "I am so sorry that I have ailed you this week, I promise that I will be more mindful moving forward and use my eyes to look for your name on things in the fridge-"
"You don't have to beg for my forgiveness, get up." He was basically a tomato, his whole face red and slightly covered by his hair. If you weren't on such a time crunch, you might keep going just to tease him.
"And I come to enlist your help on a quest that only you have the required tools to complete!"
"Ah, there it is. So you just need my help, then?" He tried to keep the disappointment out of his voice, but you caught it and immediately stood up to explain yourself.
"Baby, no, I do genuinely want to apologize and fix things! But um... yes, I do actually have a problem that only you can help me with."
He sighed and regarded you for a moment before nodding. "Alright, what is it?"
You immediately lit up and shook his hand excitedly. "Really? Thank you so much!"
"So... what is it?"
"There's a spider in my room, and I lost it and I need your toad to eat it."
He gave you a deadpan look before throwing his head back with a long sigh, looking at the ceiling. "Alright, let's go."
On your way back to your room, you fell into silence. Mostly because you didn't want to get caught being out past curfew, but also because neither of you really knew what to say.
Once you were in front of your door, you opened it and let him in. He summoned his toad and helped you search for it (by helped, you really meant he did all the searching while you stood outside and quietly directed him to where you saw it last.
"Can you at least come and help me look?" He asked, currently looking around on the floor under a couple of bags.
You hesitantly walked in, surveying everything before standing next to him to double check.
He broke the silence first. "You know... I really wasn't mad at you for any of the kitchen stuff. I know I told you that already, but I feel like you don't believe it."
You sifted through some clothes. "No, I did. I guess I was just sad that you weren't letting me hang out with you as much. I totally understand it- you needed a break from everything and I respect that, but I wish I could have helped before you got to that point. And I'm serious, I'll keep a better eye out before I accidentally eat your stuff." you both kind of laughed at that.
It was silent again for a couple seconds. "I'm sorry I kind of pushed you away and isolated myself."
You smiled a bit. "I'm sorry I kinda tipped you over the edge."
You turned to face each other for a moment before he wrapped you up in his arms. "You didn't. I promise next time I feel overwhelmed I'll let you know so you don't think I'm upset with you," he mumbled.
"Thank you... I love you."
"I love you too."
You stayed like that for a moment before you pulled back a bit and smirked at him. "Nobara told me that Itadori said you were pouting on you jog together earlier."
He blushed. "I was not. He doesn't know what he's talking about."
You giggled a bit and cupped his face. "I would bet a million yen that you were!"
He groaned and tried to gently pry your hands away from his face. "Stop it... I was not pouting, I don't pout."
"You so do! You're doing it right- holy shit Megumi the spider is right there gET IT PLEASE-"
The sweet moment was ruined by the spider from earlier scuttling across the ceiling over your bed. You jumped onto your boyfriend for protection, even though he couldn't do much while supporting your entire bodyweight so you wouldn't fall. He managed to send the toad after it, and it happily chased it with its tongue.
The spider was no more.
You settled back on the ground and patted the toad on the head before Megumi released it back to the shadows.
You sighed in relief.
"Thank you, my love, I appreciate it."
He nodded at you. "No problem. I should head back to my dorm now before-"
"Want to stay with me?" You tentatively interrupted.
He paused and looked towards you. "We'll get in trouble if we're caught."
You tugged on his hand a little. "Please, Megumi? I've missed you this week..."
He sighed and let you pull him to your bed, hiding a small smile when you cheer. "Fine, but I'm leaving before the sun comes up. I'm not letting Gojo think he has anything over me."
You giggled. "That's fine," and then you both got settled under the covers.
He'd be lying if he said he hadn't missed you while he was isolating himself, but he pushed any thoughts of that away and fell into a peaceful sleep with you in his arms.

ONEIRIC adjective * relating to dreams or dreaming, something dream-like. ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ) gift for: @darlingspeach
DREAMS ARE LITTLE windows created by pieces of your mind. pain woven by unconscious parts that build your brain, hurting you without being aware. dark corners become absolute in nightmares, completely dominating your perceptions and trapping you in a web of fear and pain. your heart could even stop, depending on how terrifying the dream is — if it’s too much for your mind, your body won’t be able to handle it.
there is a strongly, linked bond that becomes absolute dependence between these two: body and mind. interconnected by flesh, bones and nerves, an intrinsic strength that could never be broken while the individual is alive and aware. flesh can be cut and bruised, bones can break, nerves can be destroyed. but the body affects the mind and vice versa, so that it is impossible to separate them completely — in normal conditions. the body feels what the brain wants it to feel, psychologically creating feelings in scenarios that may not even be real. it’s as fascinating as it is scary.
it’s not uncommon for MEGUMI to dream about you. likewise, it is normal for dreams to contain people we know, and especially people we love. he may be tormented by endless nightmares, recalling the most difficult moments of his life — or false moments.
he can see it clearly, like distant memories brought to the surface: his friends getting hurt, closing their eyes to an eternal sleep that has nothing sweet about it. and after all these dreams, he wakes up in a cold sweat. his eyes widen to stare at the dark ceiling of his room. trembling hands go to his chest, searching for his own heart, which beats in its erratic rhythm. he always has to take minutes to calm down. breathing is the key. it was not real, he reminds himself. everyone is fine.
but dreams about you are always filled with sweetness and joy, like images coming straight out of a fairy tale. as if these dreams are your “happily ever after”. there is a collection of them, which seem more like reminiscences he has than fruits of his dreamlike imagination. dreams about cliche dates. you and him holding hands walking in the park, or walking on the beach — feeling the waves hitting your ankles and the sand splashing over your feet. dates where you eat ice cream and roll around in the grass, pointing at clouds and arguing because “yes, the cloud on the right looks like a shikigami, i’m telling you.”
he never has nightmares about you. even if the fear of losing you exists, and strongly, it never happens. even if he looks at people like satoru gojo and can’t feel anything but pity. MEGUMI has you. he is not one of the lonely sorcerers, with their short and glorious lives marred by success, and consequently by loneliness. he has love.
a love so strong that your presence, the mere idea of you, makes his subconscious not afraid. whenever any such dream passes through his mind while he sleeps, like the playback of a film reel, he wakes up with a flushed face. his cheeks stained red, because he is so in love that even in his dreams you appear.
at these moments, he turns over in bed, drowsy, and looks for his cell phone on the counter. his reflexes are slow, poorly prepared. his hand misses it once, twice, and eventually takes out his cell phone, searching for the desired number in the messaging app. he texts you — you, his everything. his partner, his love, the wants he wants to marry to.
“I’ve had a dream about you tonight.”

hii, hope ur alr! I was hoping to ask for a matchmake :3 I’m 5’10 with belly-button length black hair, & usually very quiet around people I don’t know well. I’m introverted, & really only have a small close-knit group of people that I hang out with, usually seem low energy but that’s just how I am!! as in facial expressions make me seem bored by default but I like to think I’m pretty chill :< (why am I still talking abt this ToT), when I get excited I talk like REALLYYY fast. I like cleaning, going out with friends, painting, playing sports, baking+cooking, music, reading, makeup/self care, & cats!! pretty closed off most of the time, I can randomly distance myself from ppl a lot but that’s just trust issues (I think? :0), I think I try to seem rlly thick skinned but I’m not, also SUUPER stubborn sometimes (oopsie). I rlly love cities, & prefer beaches over mountains (despite my phobia of water 😋😋)
so yh!! dw, ik that’s a lot & I’m so sorry 😭🫶🫶
hii, angel please, read this as in you met yuji and start dating megumi in your first year, the rest is aged up, oki? i’ll be making this every time i match with the younger, because there is not enough adults and i don’t like to be repeating the same matchings. @beeksyurr
•⁀➷ 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠. . . ﹫ 𝘮𝘦𝘨𝘶𝘮𝘪 ៹ ༉‧₊˚
megumi and you have been friends since forever. could be sandbox sweethearts or play dates gojo makes with a sorcerer who has a child (younger sibling or another case of random adoption, it keeps happening a lot).
your relationship won’t start until much later, when yuji comes to the picture, ruining your mission and suddenly transforming your duo into a trio. somehow, itadori slips his type of woman (tall) and megumi does not like that, so he has to make things clear and he asks you out with that dark look on his face, still adorable because of the pink cheeks. later, you will find out that yuji never considered you his type because he, like everyone else, thought you and fushiguro were already dating.
you both are the quiet couple out of your friend group, nobara and yuji do all the talking while megs and you stay clear of their path of chaos and meaningless fight. much rather sharing earphones, and quick glances with meanings only the two of you understand. it’s kinda creepy for anyone that catches it, how easily you can communicate and understand the other with just the eyes.
it takes a couple of weeks of dating for you two to go back to the hanging out with your friends, and somehow along the talk, something nobara said picked your interest. megumi groaned when he realized you would start talking and he would be “left alone” (he is such a drama queen). you talk really fast, and if any of the others don’t understand, you stare and him and he will translate easily.
“she said she made cookies with hazelnuts, how come you didn’t get that?” he snicker at your friends.
“that’s what she said? i thought she meant she planted nuts.” yuji baffled expressions made you laugh.
sometimes, for some unknown reason, you do this thing of avoiding everyone, and megumi although always a sweetheart respecting you and your space, does not like that. he knows it comes from a type of insecurity, and as your boyfriend of years, it’s his job to be there for you. so he always knocks on your apartment, a basket with empty canvas, paint and self care products is gifted to you. with masks on both of yours face, your favorite playlist and tint on your hands, you have a calm date being spoiled by him.
megumi as a boyfriend is the type to be calm and gentle, he values your happiness and individuality more than anything, so therefore there is no wrong doing you might do in his eyes. he thinks you are perfect as yourself but together, you are his second half. wherever you are, he goes.
──── 𓇼 ° ⋆ FUN FACTS ᵎᵎ
۫ ּ ﹗he thinks it’s adorable that you prefer cats and yet you treat his dogs and others shikigamis with too much care. except of course, mahoraga.
۫ ּ ﹗you both are very stubborn and it can be the cause of fights, it takes your friends intervening to make you both go back to normal.
۫ ּ ﹗whenever you bake sweeties, you visit him and gojo. the older man adores you and call you his “daughter in law”.

Totally see Megumi with a boyfriend that gives all his animals cute or just random off the wall names. The thought of Megumi saying them totally seriously sounds hilarious.
sᴇʀɪᴏᴜsʟʏ ᴄᴜᴛᴇ
Tumblr media
Ah, thank you for requesting it really made me happy :) I didn't know if you meant real animals or stuffed animals so I did both (also if this isn't an actual request then uh, oh well lol)
Requests | Open (read rules on pinned first)
Fandom(s) | Jujutsu Kaisen
Platonic or Romantic? | Romantic
Megumi loves you he really does, he'd do anything for you
but god all mighty the names you give things drive him a bit crazy and make him just a teeny bit embarrassed
but he loves to see you smile and be happy, so he lets you name your things whatever you want
However, he does love Mr. Gibbs, your golden teddy bear with a black button nose and eyes that sit on your bed
Favoritism at its finest I say
He greats him first right after greeting you, patting the teddy head
it always manages to make you giggle as he keeps his monotone and serious voice as he does it
If you have a pet with a seriously funny or weird name, he greets it 100% with 0 hesitations when he sees it
especially if it's a puppy/dog
no matter the name, if its name is Bloopie or Tootsie, or maybe even Wanton, he doesn't care he's creating it with his normal voice with a bit of confidence
he's surprised that you actually have the confidence to greet your pet loudly in a public area, he typically says it a bit quieter, only the people around him hearing git
not the people in a 50-foot radius lol (like Yuji or Gojo)
when Yuji, Gojo, and Kugisaki hear him greet your puppy with his monotone voice and weird yet cute name, they can't help but laugh
it's just so weird and .....ya lmao
tis all I got other than he will probably start naming his own things with bizarre names

“do y’think we’re together in every universe, ‘gumi?”
megumi turned his head, cringing at how loud the pillowcase crinkled against his ear when he had redirected his vision from that seemingly alluring spot in the ceiling to your face. a dark hint of jade swirled in his eyes as they flickered around your face; even when he hadn’t meant to, megumi had managed to commit your face to his memory. every blemish, every beauty mark, every dry patch of skin on your body — it wasn’t his fault you were beautiful, he had always thought whenever you teased him about it. instead of expressing those thoughts though, he merely gave a smartass retort of, “if you saw he was staring, that’d meant you were staring, too.”
his lips pressed together. “what kind of question is that?” his brows furrowed together. on these nights where you would invite him to your dorm for the reason that you couldn’t sleep ( which was pretty frequently; to which he’d huff over the phone before you heard four quiet knocks on your door ), you never got tired of concocting these random questions and letting them escape from your mind and into megumi’s. he’d say it pissed him off but in actuality, he became pretty entertaining when he couldn’t sleep either.
your eyes darted to the left as if he was the one who had asked a dumb question before responding in confidence, “a smart one.”
he scoffed, “yeah, maybe in one of those different universes you dream about, it’d be considered smart.”
“wow — okay, rude much?” you laughed softly, by far one of the most relieving sounds your boyfriend’s ever heard. not that he’d ever admit it to you, though. he tilted his head back up to the ceiling, hands interlocking as they rested on his stomach above the comforter.
it’s silent for a while after that, the distant sounds of insects and various other creatures outside as they filled the void that emerges out at twilight. he didn’t bother to look in fear that you’re staring back at him again, but from the rustling on your side of the bed, he can infer that you’ve somewhat shifted your position and are facing away from him now.
taking a quick glance to his left, he sees you — and to his relief, you’re in fact not looking at him. instead, you’re back is facing him as the loose, worn out t-shirt slightly pooled on the side nearest to him, exposing some of your lower back. he let out a sharp exhale through his nose before tipping his head upwards again, facing the ceiling as he tries to differentiate the shapes he sees in the darkness.
your eyes fluttered for a moment, maybe some part of you thinking you did finally piss him off enough — before you heard his hushed voice, “i guess we would.”
after a small pause and your head turning to the side to let him know you were still listening, you mumbled back, “you guess we would?”
megumi’s eyes flickered once more back to you, watching as you made yourself comfortable and fully turned back around. you awaited his answer with expectant eyes, all glossy and big from the sliver of moonlight that had managed to sneak itself in through the blinds.
he gave a small shrug, “i mean, sure. nothing’s set in stone or anything — and it might not even be plausible that other universes even exist but,” he paused as he searched for the right words, “if they do, i hope we would.”
now it was his turn to hold his breath as his head lolled over to look at you again. you went silent, and he almost thought you were gonna be freaked out at his answer until your teeth shone in the light as your lips split into a sly grin. “awh,” you teased, “so you do care.”
he scowled, “never said i didn’t, maybe pay closer attention next time.”
you scooted a little closer to him ( an easier task than it seemed considering the dorms only have full sized mattresses ) before propping yourself up on one elbow and pressing soft, quick pecks to his pale skin. you only giggled further as he shifted away to try and escape your wrath, pushing you back on your side of the bed as he grumbled, “gross, morning breath.”
“actually,” you pitched your voice higher to make it sound nerdier, “it’s not even morning yet. probably just closer to four o’clock or something.”
megumi sighed, extending his arm to reach for his phone on the nightstand — .. to which he was blinded by the bright multicolored pixels that his screen consisted of. you ultimately narrowed your eyes as well before another smile graced itself upon your face, seeing the photo he took of you on your birthday this year as his lockscreen; a flower placed neatly in your hair as you looked off somewhere over yonder, completely candid. however, that heart warming thought became short-lived as he turned off his phone and turned back towards you, “it’s actually four thirty-six, all the more reason for you to get the hell to sleep.”
“eh, you know you still like me, though, ‘gumi.”
he stayed silent at that, reverting back to his position under the covers and staring back up at the ceiling. truth be told, he couldn’t lie to you and deny it like that — and in all honest; you’ve domesticated him, his heart remaining a stray, mangy cat as it yowls from its baptism in a pool of love; nearly drowning in the affection it has received and the care it brings with it. so instead, he huffed once more and shut his eyes, eyebrows permanently knitted together it seemed.
“still don’t like that nickname.”
“oh, hush.”
“never.”

Megumi Fushiguro x Reader
––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
<<<Previous••Next>>>
Contents page
Small note: I plan on having more than one Megumi x Reader, but it's not going to be a multi chapter fic, just a bunch of different scenarios I guess. I might do this in chronological order of the series (this starts off as all of them thinking Yuji Itadori dies, but I'll also add in non-canon-based things too, don't worry:3)
Description:(Megumi x fem!reader)
After Megumi watched Sukuna rip out Yuji's heart, everyone began claiming the newest student at the Tokyo Jujutsu School had passed away, even the Staff, such as Gojo, etc. Even you believed it, because why would Megumi lie about something like this? That's just it, he wouldn't.
––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
Of course, how cliché. It was rather annoying, really. But naturally, it was nearing Autumn.
The leaves were changing from green to orange, and in the mornings, it was more foggy out, which meant the winter uniforms were going to be used soon, which should cause excitement, for the most part.
But it didn't.
Not even a week ago, the newest first year, Yuji Itadori, had his body taken over by the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna. He had eaten his finger, so of course Sukuna could take over his body.
But that wasn't the problem. Sure, Yuji's body being taken over was problematic, but he would come back, eventually.
Not this time.
You had heard from Megumi that when Sukuna took over Yuji's body, he watched Sukuna rip out the pink-haired boys heart, and when Yuji took control of his body, he had seen Yuji fall to the ground, deceased.
Of course, since it was late September, it was raining. Raining hard. So, all classes and training sessions had been canceled for the day. Like the first years would've wanted to do training without their wide-smiling friend.
You knew Megumi since grade school, so you knew he was naturally closed off and emotionally distant, as were you (to an extent). But you knew when something was bothering him. The emotions that danced in his eyes every so often when something affected him, it broke your heart, most times.
You started to worry a little too much so you sat up and opened your messages.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You looked at your messages over the past few minutes. His dry responses were usual for him, so you didn't mind it. But what did bother you was the messages themselves.
The responses you got reminded you too much of when Tsumiki went into a coma. You remember how short or long the messages were, all of them telling you that he was fine, or to not worry about him, or in the case Tsumiki went into the coma, you were lucky if he texted you at all.
You weren't that close to Tsumiki, but you two talked sometimes, like when you and Megumi were studying for that math test in middle school, and Tsumiki was trying to make conversation. But the two of you swore you could do the study sheet on your own. Maybe you two should've listened to her, because you both got a 69% on the test.
You smiled slightly to yourself. You had felt slight pain to Tsumiki falling into a coma, but you knew it impacted Megumi the most.
No matter how much he claimed "I hate her! I hate Tsumiki!", you knew that she was the person who had been with him damn near his entire life, even before Gojo met them, Tsumiki was always with him.
Then you met him in fifth grade, and due to both of your rather antisocial and pessimistic attitudes, the both of you naturally became friends.
While thinking about everything that'd happened since grade school when the two of you met, you began to space off and stare out the window of your dorm.
––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
After realizing how long you've been spacing out, you eventually grow bored. You remember how Megumi suggested you reading, but you really couldn't read with a ton on your mind.
Although you weren't there when they first met, you still were decently close to the pink haired boy.
Yuji seemed to have a effect on both you and Megumi, as if a change of course in your usually antisocial and quiet lives.
You decided to read through the group chat you were apart of with Megumi, Yuji, and Nobara. Although you four weren't close as the second years, you'd he that close, sooner or later, but Yuji wouldn't be there.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You chuckled slightly at the messages you guys had shared in the last few days, but your soft laughter eventually faded when the messages ended, reminding you that Yuji wouldn't be in the group chat anymore.
Well, his phone number and messages remain, but he'll never be able to respond again.
You sigh. You figure you could read, like Megumi suggested, but you couldn't. You tried reading a page but couldn't focus on a single sentence on a page, let alone a whole chapter.
––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
You sigh. You grow frustrated with yourself. You wanted to talk to someone, despite your distant nature.
You give up on reasoning and text Megumi.
Tumblr media
You began to worry about what was happening. Did his phone die? What was he doing? Your thoughts began to spiral before you shake your head slightly as you stood up from your bed and slipped on your shoes.
Since missions classes and training had been canceled, everyone was in their rooms, it's not like they could do much of anything due to the downpour outside anyway.
You were wearing grey sweatpants and a white baggy t-shirt, nothing too extravagant, then again, as a jujutsu sorcerer— a student rather— you, as well as the other students, were never really in the place nor had the luxury of having too much nice things.
One wrong move on a mission always leads to your death, another sorcerer's death, or a bystanders death; and always, you were linked with either of those three.
You shake your head and run your fingers through your messy hair, setting your mind to one thing: talking to Megumi.
Your door opens with a slight squeaking sound, and you walk into the hallway of the dormitory.
––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
As you walked through the halls, your mind began wandering, but after a little bit, a roll of thunder tugged you out of your thoughts. You were rather thankful, since your thoughts had been derailing you from what you had in mind.
You shook your head and continued walking, running your fingers through your hair.
You eventually made your way to his door. Your hands in the pockets of your sweatpants. You pulled out one of your hands of the pockets.
You clench a fist and keep it hovering near Megumi's door. You kept your position like that for who knows how long.
Well, long enough for your arm to start to hurt. You pull out your phone one more time to see if he responded to any of your messages. When you seen he hadn't, you sighed and shoved your phone back into your pocket.
You then run your fingers through your hair again, and sigh.
You knock on the door.
––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
You know what? Screw it. This is gonna be a multi chapter fic too. I gotta create a table of contents post rq but that's cool🙂👍

Build-A-Blurb Ask Game! *closed
You didn’t like Megumi and Megumi didn’t like you.
That was the plan, the script that both of you were suppose to follow to perfection, with no changes or distractions.
It was cliche, and you could probably name whatever show you saw this exact trope off of- enemies from high school that ended up at the same college, and even matched together for a school project that would determine the rest of your academic career.
It was annoying, and you gritted your teeth each time you found yourself sharing the same air as him- and he felt the same.
It was obvious to your respective friend groups that you loathe each others’ guts. They would comment each time they saw the nasty glares and snide remarks you would give one another.
You abhorred him, and he abhorred you.
So when did he start to find him so tolerable?
Was it because you noticed how calm he was (a complete difference to the delinquent image you had of him years ago)? Or how he’s seamlessly able to focus on whatever’s in front of him with no issues? Or maybe because you saw how he was actually willing to help you with this project instead of abandoning you like you originally thought.
Either way, the tension wasn’t as thick as it was before between you.
And you began to notice a lot about Megumi these last few weeks, despite your constant denial.
How his eyelashes would gently brush his face whenever he glanced down at the pages of your textbook, how easy he was to talk to (surprisingly), how gently your name would fall from his lips without any animosity.
Even if the conversation was solely for the project (at least in the beginning), it felt…nice surprisingly. It wasn’t like high school all over again, it was something fresh.
But by the time you found yourself opening up to the possibility of connecting with Megumi, the project was almost completed. It was already time for it to be submitted, so surely it wasn’t a need for your paths to be crossing again right?
You tried to convince yourself that the only reason the pit in your stomach grew was because of your nerves concerning your grade- not because of the thought of drifting away from him. It made you laugh- you would have never pictured the day that you would worry about your relationship with Megumi Fushiguro, let alone actually consider having one with him.
But you wouldn’t notice that he was facing the same internal struggle.
He only put on with you in the beginning to get the project out of the way. He’s dealt with worse and it was only for a semester, so he would bear with it for the time being. But when he was able to see past the sufferable image he had of you and see…well, you- it was eye opening to say the least. His friends would tease him about the distracted look he would always have now whenever he was out, and he realized that when he became lost in his thoughts involving you.
The moment Megumi spotted a genuine smile actually meeting your eyes, he felt a strange sensation grow in his chest, and he started to have doubts if he truly hated you anymore.
And his conflict only continued throughout the weeks. The time he found himself dreading to spend with you soon turned into not wanting to leave, much to his shock.
You both could only pretend that everything was fine for so long, and it was only a matter of time before the truth would come out.
You both deviated far off of the original script.
But you found yourself being okay- and so did he.
Even now, just gazing at him outside of your apartment, you didn’t want this to be the last moment that you spend with Megumi.
And from the way his lips connected with yours, he felt the same.

What would bodyguard!Megumi do with clumsy!reader? Imagine that even though everything is reader-proofed, we still still find ways to hurt ourselves (unintentionally, of course). Reader isn't even allowed to make cereal without supervision.
Bodyguard Megumi x clumsy reader
A/N: I haven’t wrote for Megumi in a while so here’s some food for ya’ll 🤗
Tumblr media
One thing Megumi had to learn while being your bodyguard was preparation for your clumsiness. As wonderful, beautiful and academically talented you were, for some reason, you lacked any visual spatial awareness. You were the clumsiest girl Megumi knew.
Whether it was placing his hand on the corner of the table, knowing you would bump into it as you walked past.
Or when he would run thin on patience, he’d grab your hips with his big pale hands and guide you around, ignoring your pointless whinging.
But when he looks away from you for more than a second, that’s when your clumsiness strikes the most. You wince as you hit your pinky toe off the door, making the bodyguard rush to you once he realises. He tsks “silly girl” in his annoyed deep voice, contradicting the way he immediately picks you up in his muscular arms, and coos in your ear to soothe you.
The clumsiness makes him cautious around your cooking too.
“Are you seriously supervising me while I make my omelette?” You ask incredulously to the dark haired grumpy man, whose tall figure towered over you, hands in his pockets as his dark eyes bore holes into you.
“Yes, I am” he says shamelessly tilted his head closer to you when you pulled a face at him.
“You don’t need to” you say with a pout.
“You’re right, I wouldn’t need to if you weren’t such a clumsy girl” he teases, smiling when you punch his bicep in annoyance.
Suddenly his pale hand placed itself on top of yours, tightening its hold around your hand as it gripped the spatula more firmly, helping you flip the omelette. You look up at him, as he stands behind you, pressing his muscular stomach against your back as he helped you put it on a plate.
He feels your stare and looks down to see your pretty doe eyes stare up at him, and as his dark eyes connect with yours, you ask shyly “what are you doing?”
“Helping my clumsy girl” he replies, while holding your intense gaze. You eventually look away when he booped your nose, grabbing your plate, and sitting down to eat breakfast.
Megumi grabs the chair next to you, and decides to let you eat in peace as he texted someone.
But when he looks back up, he smiles amusedly at the food on the corner of your lips, and secretly takes a picture. ‘Dumbass’ he mutters affectionately, but you hear him, causing you to look up at him and frown while still munching on toast.
“What?” You say with a mouth full.
“Don’t talk with your mouth full y/n” he scolds half heartedly.
You swallow the food, but the intrusive thoughts and urge to argue back still takes over. “Or what?” You tease with a mischievous smile.
“Or I’ll wipe the food off your lips with my own lips” he replies quickly, easily wiping that smile off your face.
You grow flustered as he says nothing while he stares into your eyes, and you stare into his. The tension growing as Megumi got comfy in the chair, not breaking eye contact.
“Then maybe I’ll do it again” you reply smartly, making Megumi laugh, he should’ve known you’d love that offer.
“C’mere then” he says with a small smile as he beckons you into his lap.
You happily climb into his lap as he helps you and snakes his arms around your waist. He stares at your lips as he brushes the foods away with his thumb, then pulled your face impossibly closer by grabbing the back of your neck. You could feel his minty breath on your lips as his lips brushed against yours teasingly before pressing them down, kissing your lips gently.
