There’s peace in this I can’t explain

Even though our world is burning

With your hand in mine I can’t quite comprehend

Just how quickly we’re all spinning,

    ‘Cause, Claire

                    I 

                                 Swear,

                                                       No

                                                                   Matter

                                                           How

                                           Fast

                         We’re 

     Moving,

My thoughts are ten times faster

So hold me tight, hold me close

I’m Icarus, and you’re the Sun

And when this world spins out of control

The Stars will welcome us home again

Until then I’ll wait for the Sun to explode,

For Daylight cannot be ours forever

Then, finally, I may rest among the stars

Set deep within your eyes

Never again will I simply gaze at a universe within reach.

* Any creative content accepted - art, fics, amvs, playlists, poems, interpretive dance, etc. (so long as it’s Jlaire-focused!)

* Please refrain from posting your content before the date of the corresponding prompt (for example, wait to post your work for the prompt “Eclipse” until July 6th). This way everyone can have fun at the same time! (That being said, feel free to start working on your stuff as soon as you want!)

* Participate as much (or as little) as you want! Whether you’re only feeling inspired by one or two of the prompts, or you’ve got something for each prompt, or you want to make multiple works for a single prompt because decisions are hard, whatever level of effort you put in is always fine with us. After all, this is all just for fun!

We’ll post more detailed info about submitting/posting your works as we get closer to the event (spoiler: it’s pretty much the same as last year). In the meantime, feel free to ask us any questions you might have! We’re very friendly, we swear.
