James Middleton and his fiancée Alizee Thevenet are red carpet-ready!

The animal-loving couple traded their usual casual country style for chic ensembles to attend the Bvlgari Magnifica Gala dinner at Spencer House in London on Thursday. They were all smiles as they posed for photos at the event, with James sporting a stylish navy velvet jacket while Alizee was pretty in a pink floral dress with long sleeves.

The couple got engaged in September 2019, but their wedding plans were delayed. Kate Middleton's younger brother shared in May 2020 that he and Alizee had planned to get married that month but changed plans due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

James and the French financial analyst - who is trilingual and grew up in Germany, Indonesia, Chile, France, Belgium and England - celebrated one year of being engaged in September 2020 with a trip to Italy.

"It's a year since I asked Alizee to marry me 💍 … what a year it's been!" James wrote on Instagram. "Two homes 🏡 lockdown 🔐 two attempts at a wedding🤵👰❌, a litter of 🐶, launching of new company @ella.co 🐾 a beard shave 🪒 and much more but the best part is that I get to share it with you @alizeethevenet and I can't wait to take on whatever the future holds for us ✨."

He added, "We managed to escape to Italy ⛵️for a quick dip in the the sea, lots of 🍝&🍷 and now ready to face the world again."

James is known for his beloved pack of dogs - and even credits his cocker spaniel Ella with introducing him to his bride-to-be! According to his interview with The Telegraph, James's pup approached Alizee in the South Kensington Club, where they were both having meetings, in the summer of 2018.

"I'm truly so thankful to Ella for bringing me so much happiness into my life," the entrepreneur behind the dog food brand Ella & Co. said in an April 15 Instagram post. "She was the one who introduced me to Alizee, she supported me during my experience with clinical depression, she has kept me young & active and is the driving force behind my motivation to launch @ella.co."

I’ve been lowkey wishing for jmidy to make a lovely post about William on W’s birthday, basically saying that he’s been a great big brother for the last 20 years or whatever. He will NEVER, and I don’t even know how he truly feels about William, but for the last few months this has turned into a highkey wish. Like go all out jmidy!!

He would never. The Midds have more dignity in their pinkies than most members of the BRF combined.

Jmidy is a private citizen so it doesn't matter what he does on IG. Heaps of businesses these days are online based and using social media to promote things is hardly some wild undiscovered territory anymore. It has nothing to do with Megxit - Pippa was doing the Heart Foundation charity cookbook long before Meghan was known about. None of the middletons have ever behaved like Megs has.

No, but they’ve been slowing moving into the territory Meghan opened up. Carole gave an interview. Pippa stepped up the pap biking and showed up at Wimbledon. James “opened up” about mental health and is now becoming an influencer. 

They are a lot classier about it than Meghan and they don’t rely as much on their royal connection, primarily because their own “classy British middle class in the country” brand is so strong and appealing (more appealing than royal adjacency, imo). However, they’re very much taking advantage of the boundaries the Harkles expanded. Before the Harkles, the Middletons would have caught tons of flak for doing this. After the Harkles, no one even remarks about it.

Mr James Middleton (@jmidy on Instagram) has been appointed the ambassador for The Kennel Club "Friends for Life" competition. He will have the honour of presenting the award to the winner at Crufts this Sunday. (Which means it starts THIS Thursday!!) For those who don't know (because he doesn't use it to get sympathy) James really suffered with his mental well-being and credit his dogs (as well as his close family) with his survival and recovery.

Well congrats to him!  This is wonderful!  He really is doing a great job bringing forward awareness....good for him!😊❤️❤️❤️❤️

That video where they said he can give advise to baby about older sibling was during the Invictus prep. So, it was Cressida Bonas who had Harry at his best. After they broke up, he grew that awful beard and he has been going downhill since then.
