Was John Anderton preapproved to enter the temple always, or did he just get a few second approval before everyone else?

Day 12: Which Movie would you like to see a sequel to?
Short Answer: Minority Report
Longer Ramblings: Under the cut
Yes, it is my favorite. Yes, I would love to see more. It’s my blog and I can be self-indulgent if I want to.
Sci-fi has been, is, and always will be my jam. Especially if you make it grungy, and make it not too serious. Minority Report 2? Hell fucking yes. The police force gets built back up, but even more disassociated from reality? Sure, give me another Demolition Man. A world where the security systems and government fall apart? Give me another Escape from New York. Hell, just make the sequel a “remake” and have John the older cop in charge and make it like the short story instead.
Heck, we’re talking back alley surgeries, genetics and enhancements, you know there’s potential there. Repo, Gattaca, Johnny Mnemonic.
And/or give him his kid back and then make it some kind of buddy cop/confidential informant thing with Peter Stormare still. It will never get old.
Edit: for an unpopular opinion. My 2nd choice would be The Mummy. You can preach Brendan Fraser superiority all you want and I’m here for it, but don’t be a hater. Admit that the “Dark Universe” sounds amazing and in a different timeline we could have had that in our lives. Here there be monsters.

I feel like you’re one of the TC authorities on this site so forgive me in advance for the yellin in your DMs but:
How can a man simultaneously radiate pathetic energy and ‘wow he’s so fun (affectionate)’ energy?? John Anderton, Ray Ferrier, Ethan Hunt. It’s like do they get into difficult situations because of their freewheeling ways??? Yes but I still want to just. Wipe the kicked puppy look off their faces. Man Assigned Babygirl somewhere along the narrative way
John Anderton and Ray Ferrier are REALLY just going through it like it's actually really really sad, but i love both their characters so much and just ahhhhh. Tom just adds so much likability to characters that are basically different spectrum of Pathetic Men™
Because John is still struggling with his missing son and divorce, and using Future Drugs™ to cope. And I think that sort of grief is easy to connect to? Like I'm rooting for John because he struggles so much.
And Similar to Ray Ferrier, (although I'm biased as a New Jersey Native) where he's trying his best? Is his best perfect? no. But he's trying to protect his kids and get along with them.
ETHAN HUNT is MY BLORBO. MY pathetic Babygirl. I love him so much. I do think his characterization in fanon as someone who likes risk is a bit extreme, (But also he was free climbing a mountain while on vacation so). Ethan Hunt makes me so sad, like he just goes through so much tragic shit and yet he still gets up and does his thing?????? My Man Ethan someone tuck him into bed and give him a kiss on the forehead, he must be protected
