Yeah it makes me angry too. Like, a woman has one public slip-up and suddenly they’re a “snake” “evil” “opportunist” — someone said “oh look she’s smirking because she’s having her moment spotlight with Pedro” what the fuck. Like implying that she, who had already made a name for herself before he even got famous, was posing with him for fame…that’s so crazy. They were just standing next to each other at at event they were both invited to. Makes you realize just how wildly the idea of a gold digger, opportunist woman permeates society.

i think it’s funny that a lot of d/pp fans throw around that everyone who supports amber is a terf or a radfem, when the majority obviously aren’t and those who are get blocked and told to fuck off, it’s just another bad faith argument in order to suggest her fans are on the wrong side of history but on johnny’s side, he actually is transphobic. not only that but, as i mentioned in my previous post, queen terf jk rowling fought for d/pp to be in the beasts trilogy. and i don’t mean, her weak statement that it was justifiable because it was ‘their private lives’.

i mean, she actively fought against people who said it would be a bad idea for him to be in the franchise. she suggested him for the role. when david yates, who also went on to give a character statement for d/pp in the uk trial, was uncertain - jk made it clear that d/pp was her choice and she would not be happy if he wasn’t cast. so back in those days when apparently ‘everyone believed amber and d/pp was ruined’ it turns out no one did and he got hand picked.

yesss im so glad u love it <3 runaways was literally the first comic i ever read i was like. 10 when i read the original series and i actually own all the physical copies of vol 1 and 2 it is soooo special to me and i feel highly underrated. like idk maybe because i was an emo 13 year old but i feel like there's something special and different about runaways vol 1 and 2 and im always happy to see more people reading it ahhhh!!!
