"WWII would have never happened if we just let Hitler do what he wants, Germans didn't want to be trapped in this war either"
Also I love that they simultaneously oppose US intervention in Ukraine AND argue that US should "bring both sides to the table and hammer out a peace" (because those stupid Eastern Europeans aren't smart enough to think of that and never tried it before,we enlightened USians need to show them the way).
Do you see the contradiction here, buddy?
No? None at all?

Getting my daily read with a healthy dose of vitamin D in an empty carpark as I'm not allowed to wait for my girlfriend while she's getting her hair cut and it's nigh on impossible to get a seat in a cafe. You want to complain about post-lockdown life but then you realise this was probably better all along. #intothewoods #johnyorke #reading #bookstagram #books #dailyreading #actorslife #writing #starbucks #haircut (at Bluewater) https://www.instagram.com/p/CC3SA0mnIAn/?igshid=100st13tnvsps

Album Number One Hundred Eighty Seven “The Byrds Play Dylan” is the name of two different compilation albums by the American rock band #thebyrds , this is the one released in 1979. As the title suggests, it consists of interpretations of #bobdylan penned songs, which the Byrds recorded at different stages of their career. My copy is on #columbiarecords - PC 36293 The original version was released in the U.S. in November 1979, and included all thirteen Bob Dylan covers that the band had officially released on singles or albums between 1965 and 1970. The track listing of the original American release did not present the songs in chronological order. #rockandroll #folkrock #the60s #sixtiesmusic #rogermcguinn #davidcrosby #michaelclarke #geneclark #chrishillman #gramparsons #geneparsons #clarencewhite #johnyork #kevinkelly #skipbattin https://www.instagram.com/p/CWIzY7Urv6V/?utm_medium=tumblr

Album Number One Hundred Eighty Six “The Best of The Byrds: Greatest Hits, Volume II” is the third greatest hits album by the Byrds, but only the second to be released in the United States, since the earlier The Byrds' Greatest Hits Volume II had only been issued in the UK. The album was released in the U.S. by #columbiarecords on November 10, 1972 in lieu of any new Byrds' product during that year. It spent a total of thirteen weeks on the Billboard Top LPs & Tapes chart and peaked at number 114 My copy is on Columbia Records - KC 31795 The album was released just prior to the highly publicized reunion of the five original members of #thebyrds It was compiled with input from the band's guitarist and leader #rogermcguinn The bulk of the songs are drawn from the years 1969 through to 1971, with the 1968 albums #thenotoriousbyrdbrothers and #sweetheartoftherodeo only being represented by "Wasn't Born to Follow" and "You Ain't Goin' Nowhere" respectively. #rockandroll #sixtiesmusic #davidcrosby #gramparsons #geneclark #chrishillman #michaelclarke #kevinkelly #johnyork #clarencewhite #geneparsons #skipbatton https://www.instagram.com/p/CWECW1LLIUv/?utm_medium=tumblr

Album Number One Hundred Eighty Five “(Untitled)” is the ninth album by #thebyrds and was released in September 1970 on #columbiarecords . It is a double album, with the first LP featuring live concert recordings from early 1970, and a second disc consisting of new studio recordings. The album represented the first official release of any live recordings by the band, as well as the first appearance on a Byrds' record of new recruit #skipbattin , who had replaced the band's previous bass player, #johnyork , in late 1969. My copy is a gatefold on Columbia Records - CG 30127 The studio album mostly consists of newly written, self-penned material, including a number of songs that had been composed by band leader #rogermcguinn and Broadway theatre director #jacqueslevy for a planned country rock musical that the pair were developing. The production was to have been based on #henrikibsen ‘s Peer Gynt and staged under the title of Gene Tryp (an anagram of Ibsen's play), but plans for the musical fell through. #rockandroll #folkrock #seventies #seventiesmusic #theseventies #geneparsons #clarencewhite https://www.instagram.com/p/CWBZHRXruo7/?utm_medium=tumblr

Album Number One Hundred Eighty Four “Ballad of Easy Rider” is the eighth album by the Byrds and was released in November 1969 on #columbiarecords . The album was named after the song "Ballad of Easy Rider", which had been written by the Byrds' guitarist and singer, #rogermcguinn (with help from #bobdylan ), as the theme song for the 1969 film, Easy Rider. The title was also chosen in an attempt to capitalize on the commercial success of the film, although the majority of the music on the album had no connection with it. Nonetheless, the association with #easyrider heightened the Byrds' public profile and resulted in #balladofeasyrider becoming the band's highest charting album for two years in the U.S. My copy is on Columbia Records - CS 9942 The album was the second to be recorded by the Roger McGuinn, #clarencewhite , #geneparsons , and #johnyork line-up of #thebyrds , although York would be fired shortly after its completion. Upon release, Ballad of Easy Rider was met with mixed reviews, but is today regarded as one of the band's stronger albums from the latter half of their career. #rockandroll #sixtiesmusic #folkrock https://www.instagram.com/p/CV-hpVSrlAl/?utm_medium=tumblr

Album Number One Hundred Eighty Two. “Dr. Byrds & Mr. Hyde” is the seventh studio album by the Byrds and was released in March 1969 on #columbiarecords . The album was produced by #bobjohnston and saw the band juxtaposing country rock material with psychedelic rock, giving the album a stylistic split-personality that was alluded to in its title. It was the first album to feature the new band line-up of #clarencewhite (guitar), #geneparsons (drums), #johnyork (bass), and founding member #rogermcguinn (guitar). #drbyrdsandmrhyde is unique within the band's discography for being the only album on which McGuinn sings the lead vocal on every track. My copy is on Columbia Records - CS 9755 The album peaked at number 153 on the Billboard Top LPs album chart and reached number 15 on the UK Albums Chart. A preceding single, "Bad Night at the Whiskey" (b/w "Drug Store Truck Drivin' Man"), was released on January 7, 1969, but it failed to chart in the United States or in the United Kingdom. In addition, a non-album single featuring a cover of Bob Dylan's "Lay Lady Lay", which was recorded shortly after the release of Dr. Byrds & Mr. Hyde and also produced by Johnston, peaked at number 132 on the Billboard chart. #rockandroll #thesixties #sixtiesmusic https://www.instagram.com/p/CV5mZLlLCWp/?utm_medium=tumblr
