It was so hot in the penthouse.

Every corner you turned you bumped shoulders with yet another guest. Hands crawled to grip the small of your back; unwelcome hugs came from left and right. More champagne was shoved into your hand. Fingers caressed the hair you had worked on all day. Gun had a wide variety of friends… surprisingly enough.

You’re stumbled towards one of the plush seats, overwhelmed by the attention. That plastic smile on your face could only last so long. Your body practically melded with the chair cushioning. You closed your eyes.

There was still lots of noise. Voices buzzed in your ear like a hornet’s nest. Glass clinked and clattered. The harmony of a European song faintly echoed throughout the room. Footsteps. There were lots of footsteps.

Cologne.

You recognized some cologne. Opening your bleary eyes, you lifted your head. And there he was.

His lips puckered. “Who chose your engagement ring?”

“My fiancé?” You retorted. You watched the muscle in his jaw twitch, his dark eyes flickering up to meet yours. His fingers traced over your new and shiny ring, brushing over the diamonds and rubbing on the band.

Goo let out a heavy, somewhat obnoxious sigh, “I don’t like it.”

“You don’t have to like it, bitch. You’re not the one wearing it,” you countered.

Goo clenched his jaw. The knit in his brow released a little, but he began pouting again. You reached out your right hand and brushed back some of his stray strands of hair. You cusped his ear.

There was still talking in the background. The room still felt hot and crowded. The guest’s laughter was turning from polite to rowdy with the more drinks they had. Despite the large group of people in that big room, you and Goo were practically alone.

Goo broke his eye contact with you. Suddenly the windowsill was super interesting, apparently, because he stared at it long and hard. You saw that pout on his lips melt away; he was just frowning now. His gaze was blank. The usual spark of energy in his movements had extinguished.

“Goo…” you began hesitantly. He leaned into your hand, which had slowly shifted from the side of his head down to his cheek. “Gun told you not to come. Didn’t he?”

“Only because he’s a jealous bastard,” Goo replied. His eyes met yours again, and a smirk twitched on his lips.

You could stare at that mouth of his for ages. His lips always looked so supple and pretty. There was no better way to describe it. His perfect teeth and perfect smile would be the death of you.

“(Y/N), where is your… fiancé? Mm?”

“I don't know. I don’t know anything anymore. I don’t think any of my friends showed up to this engagement party- so I don’t know anyone that’s here either.”

Goo’s hand had let go of your wrist. It rested comfortably on your lap, gently gripping your thigh. Now, you glanced around the room nervously. You tried pushing his hand away, suddenly hyper-aware of how many people could be watching.

Goo wasn’t dumb. He knew what you were doing. He grabbed your hand again, feeling for the engagement ring. There was that bitter look on his face, again. He didn’t know why you said yes. Neither did you.

“Is the guest bedroom off limits to the other guests?” Goo asked in a honeyed voice.

You narrowed your eyes at him. The ring in your finger was slipping off ever so slightly. A look of scorn overtook your face.

“You better know what you’re doing, Kim Jongoo.”

“Believe me, (Y/N)! This’ll make us both feel much better.”

You pushed through the group of guests that crowded all around you. Hands no longer clawed at your dress and hair now that you were walking with a purpose. You felt warmth welling in the pit of your stomach, maybe even a little lower.

You opened the door for Goo to slip in, and promptly locked it behind yourself.

Alone, you turned to face Goo. His hands were shoved in his pockets, a smirk tainted his lips, and he leaned back comfortably. You walked up and yanked him by the tie, pulling him over to the bedside. “You better listen to me, Kim. If I tell you to stop you have to.”

“Your dialogue cringier than the Fifty Shades of Gray script, (N/N)~”

Goo’s zipper buzzed as you pulled it down. His hands abandoned his pockets and occupied the inside of your dress.

Things got very hot in the penthouse after that.

Your head laid on his chest. The hair you had spent hours on was now sweaty and ruined. You slid your leg under one of Goo’s, so that you were squeezing it with both of your thighs. Your skin was still damp. It was a little sticky when the two of you touched. Goo’s hand snaked around your shoulders and entangled in your hair.

“Where did put my ring?” You whispered into his chest.

Goo let out a groan of annoyance. “It’s so ugly…!”

“Goo. I’m serious.”

“Ugh. It’s on the table.”

You let out a sigh of relief. For a few moments there was silence. You could faintly hear the noises of the crowd dying down. No one seemed to notice the missing hostess. You lamented that that was probably the new norm. Goo squeezed you a little tighter to him. He rubbed his thumb against the grooves of your arm. His touch was delicate and careful, which was a bit uncharacteristic. He has been abnormally serious this evening. There usually wasn’t a serious bone in his body.

He planted a kiss against the crown of your head. What followed was an obnoxious sigh.

“That thing is so ugly and boring. I would’ve gotten you a ring with a lot more bling,” Goo mused.

“Wouldn’t that look kind of gaudy?” You asked. You brushed your lips against his skin, feathering a kiss against his collarbone.

Goo let out an offended scoff.

Outside the music had begun to fade. You imagined some of the somber guests were filing away and going home. The frequent clattering of glasses had died down now. You peered up at Goo. You had to refrain from chuckling; he looked funny from your angle.

“You should probably go,” you whispered. “Gun will start looking for me pretty soon.”

Goo grunted. He looked down at you and squinted. “Can’t I just enjoy the moment a little longer?”

“No~ you need to go. I’ll help you find your clothes…”

The door clicked, creaked, and swung open. Your fiancé was scowling.

(A/N) It’s been awhile since I last really wrote headcanons like this so sorry if it kinda sucks or is too detailed because I kinda wrote a lot 🙏. Also do use he/him pronouns like once for reader in this.

Jonggun Park

When Gun first met you, it was infatuation at first sight. There was a big fight with many of the main cast that you somehow got yourself caught up in. Showing off your strength, Gun took off his glasses and was amazed.

After you managed to fight off some fodder fighters, Gun approached you with an offer.

“Join me, and you’ll be making hundreds of thousands.”

You obviously rejected and returned to your business.

Gun was really pissed, but he tossed it aside and decided to remember your name. But you definitely stayed on his mind, and he thought about you nonstop. He’d be hanging out with Goo and suddenly, he gets reminded that you just completely walked out on his offer and gets pissed.

But it wasn’t like how it was when he met Zack, Vasco and all the other guys. His infatuation was even deeper. Gun never heard of you before because you managed to keep such a low life. So, he did a bit of digging and learned that you were dirt poor.

So, Gun’s wondering why the hell you don’t want to become a fighter or crew later that could be making hundreds of thousands to help your current situation.

So, one day, he finds you out in public and approaches you.

“Fight me.”

You were clearly bothered. All you were doing were running errands and Gun, the guy who’s always involved in this gang stuff that you despise is asking you to fight him.

And Gun’s somewhat offended. He continues to ask you why. And you’re really annoyed, you list your reasons such as wanting to live a peaceful life, and the money didn’t matter to you if your life was always gonna be on the line.

He’s only a little bit more questioning until you turn around and try to kick him away. He barely blocks it, but there is a gear in him that turns at the kick. After that kick, he couldn’t help but just let you go.

So, it goes on. Gun’s thinking of you, every other encounter you get with him, he’s asking for you to join him and you reject. It almost always ends in you punching or kicking him.

Goo teases him, “You’ve got a crush on that guy don’t you.”

And Gun sits back and realizes that that might just be the case. Gun didn’t care when he saw a lot of the other cast members show off their skills. Your form was perfect, you didn’t want his money, you wanted a peaceful life, you cared about all the people in your life and… you were kinda handsome.

So, Gun really does have a crush on you. He can’t tell if it’s really just infatuation because you’re strong or that maybe it’s something more that he never felt, but he’s determined to get to know you.

Gun approaches you again. No offers except he just wants to know if you want to eat with him. It’s a lot different from how he usually is you notice. He caught you on a bad day where you had to miss days at work because you were sick, so you barely had anything to eat that day. Hesitantly you agree.

The two of you eat, and at the same time you get to know each other. He’s asking about your life, and you tell him. You grew up poor and still are, but if it means living a peaceful life, then you’d rather stay that way then get involved with gangs.

Although Gun’s usually quiet and reserved, he opens up. If he was going to explore this strange infatuation, then the least he could do was talk about his life when you knew so much.

But just as you thought this would be a normal interaction of two people, Gun asks to fight you at the end of it. And you’re obviously pissed and decline. But that’s not the end of him in your life.

Joongoo Kim

Usually, Goo is the type to mess around. His first encounter with you is him witnessing you fight. He’s blown away, glasses falling off his ears blown away. 

You make eye contact and ignore him, ready to just leave, but he approaches you and is upfront. 

“Become my secret friend.” He tells you, and you say no, walking off. He even offered you money, but you declined. 

Goo talks with Gun about you. How Goo met some cool guy recently and is very impressed by his talent (you). Goo is certain that he’ll cross paths with you again so, next time, he’ll just fight you. 

The two of you meet again eventually. It’s another gang war that you didn’t want to but got dragged into. Goo has a sword aimed at you, he’s not gonna take the fight seriously. but he wants to test you. 

Pissed off, you decide to go against him, but you weren’t gonna full on fight. Just try him out. 

Your hits are strong, strong enough for him to take it seriously. He’s struggling trying to block your attacks, which he likes. But once Goo is pinned down, you punch the concrete next to his face. 

“I don’t want to be involved in any of this gang shit.” And storm off. 

Goo does his own researching on you, and he discovers that you’re dirt poor and a strong fighter. So, he’s confused as to why you’re not exploiting your skills to get involved with him and Gun. Because he’s seen it before. 

One day you and him meet again, faced to face. He’s got a weapon in one hand aimed at you, “Why aren’t you taking my money?” 

You tell him that this gang stuff isn’t something you want long term. You want a peaceful life, even if it means you’re poor. It’s a typical story he’s probably heard millions of times, someone who would rather be poor over having millions. But he feels a bit of sympathy for you. 

When one gets involved in gangs, intentionally or not, it’s hard to escape it. But each time Goo meets you, it’s after some kind of fighting event. And he just asks you in his cheerful tone to join him, take his money, or both. And obviously you reject. 

Gun points out that Goo seems to have a crush on you or something because Gun has never seen Goo act so persistent with anybody. And it hits Goo. Maybe it’s the playing hard to get, but he’s curious about you and will stay persistent.

It was late, his idol schedule was hell, he rushed home to at least have some hours with you.

He walked stealthy to your bedroom, finding you sitting asleep with your kid in your arms, you looked so tired, he smiled to himself, he approached you and kissed your forehead "love, lie in bed and let me take care of the rest" he didn't need to say anything else, he took your toddler in his arms, and you adjusted comfortably in bed.

even thought having a child wasn't something he had on his plans, starting a family with you gave him a happiness he never thought he would be able to experience.

you and Samuel were blessed with a daughter, Samuel's pride, a daddy's girl who is always stuck next to her father.

even though with parenting Samuel seems cold (he tries his best), he spoils his daughter his best way.

Aware of how late it was, Samuel sneaked to your bedroom in silence, careful to not wake you up, he slid inside the bed, grunting from the tiredness.

There he spotted your daughter's head popping out from the covers, the toddler, who was in your arms, woke up as soon as she heard her father grunt, when she found her father a big smile formed in her face making Samuel smile too, she was truly a sunshine. It didn't last long for her to crawl on her father's arms, making you grunt and roll to Samuel, him getting both of you in his hold.

I see goo as someone who is either all about one night stands or slow burn. There's no inbetween.

"your collar is all weird." You sigh, placing your fingers under them and correcting it before the blonde even had a chance to reply. He gave you a questionable look but kept quiet and went ahead with his work.

Goo had been left with the work for two people, so he needed a replacement for gun. He never said it directly, but he whined to literally everyone. Gun almost considered to get back on the work just so goo would shut the hell up.

It just so happened to be that, unfortunately, you were chosen as guns replacement. Chairman choi said something along the lines 'your personalities match' and you didn't take that as a compliment when the other person in comparison was goo.

You couldn't complain much, it was either be guns replacement or be unemployed. And frankly, the pay was a big plus point, the only thing that convinced you to work alongside goo.

The blonde was not very on-board with the whole 'new partner' thing, which you found really stupid because he always complained of how much work he had to do. He said he didn't want a partner who he didn't know.

If he ever paid attention to anyone other than his own self and money, he would notice that you've been working under chairman choi from the very beginning. The fact that he didn't know you, was entirely his fault.

But he changed his mind after he saw you training. He said something about you having potential. And a pretty face.

And that's how you ended up sharing a house with the blonde, gun was occassionally there too. It would be more convenient and quicker, they said. But you thought otherwise.

One month in of working together, you were tired of the sickeningly bright smile that he always had, you knew it didn't mean he was actually happy, he just always smiled for god knows what reasons.

Two months in and you were exhausted by the random Nicknames he called you.

Three months in and you were done with him, he was like a thorn in your side that just wouldn't budge.

Four months, well atleast he was good at what he does.

Five months, you don't know if you finally went crazy, but goo seemed a lot more tolerable now.

Six months, okay he wasn't as bad as you thought he would be.

A weird detail that you can never forget about him, his collar would always be undone, always. It was past you to understand how his collar would end up all wonky in the span of 5 minutes.

And the worst thing of all, he never bothered to straighten it. The perfectionist in you could just not handle the sight, so it became a habit to correct his collar.

So much that once, you even put on his tie for him, the blonde was very confused but didn't object it. Gun on the other hand just thought the two of you were a official thing.

The more he got comfortable with you the more he started to get clingy. He could tell when your mood wasn't at its best, that was a given when you both lived under the same roof for more than a half a year, so he'd try to be less annoying than usual.

He went as far as to make you feel better, not directly of course, but he'd crack some stupid joke or make you ramen or just get you a bottle of vodka. Whatever he felt appropriate for your mood.

He started to treat you with meals randomly or just buy you a new weapon if he ever comes across one or occasional movie nights with drinks. You also noticed how his sight would linger on you longer than it used too and how he would be wary about the things you did.

You couldn't deny that his presence had started to grow on you. Now it just felt weird to go on with your day without goo annoying you atleast once or you not correcting his collar.

With a bottle in your hand and a glass in his, you both sat down on the floor before the TV. The sitcom that was displayed on the screen was drowned out by a slightly tipsy goo rambling about a fight that he and gun had.

"but don't worry, you're the much better partner. Gun was an asshole, but you, you I like." He lolled his head to the side, looking at you with a lazy grin. You furrowed your eyebrows and looked at him, "are you drunk already?"

"probably" he grins, admiring you face. He let his sight run all over your face, "hm, I do like you." He nods, agreeing to his own statement.

"you're weird when you're drunk." You turn your head back to the television and take a sip out of the bottle in your hand. The rest of the night went in a blur after you were drunk too. The last thing that goo remembers was staring at your side profile before he blacked out.

He didn't understand how the two of you ended up in this position, your body shriveled up close to his with your head on his chest and a hand clutching his collar loosely and his arms securing you in place.

He barely remembered anything from the previous night, what movie were y'all even watching? He couldn't recollect. But both of your clothes were on so atleast nothing majorly wrong happened.

He let his eyes get used to the surrounding and came to realise y'all were sprawled over the living room couch. He wondered how much did the two of you drink that neither made it up to your respective bedrooms.

Ugh, goo groaned internally. The last person he wanted to see right now was gun, but his fate was against it. Gun stood tall with his hands shoved in his trousers and a raised eyebrow.

"don't you dare say anything." Goo whispered to which gun just shrugged. The raven haired man dug into his pocket and pulled out his phone.

Snap!

His flash went off, capturing the scene in the gallery of his phone. The blondes eyes widened in realisation and that just made gun smirk a little. "Come here you asshole." Goo threw a pillow at the fleeting man.

The blondes sudden movement made you stir in your sleep, he froze in place not wanting to wake you up right now. That just resulted in you nuzzling your body closer to his.

It was strangely comfortable for goo to be in that situation. He'd not mind it if that's what he woke up to everyday.

He dropped his gaze to you and brought his finger to move out the strands covering your face, slowly tucking them behind your ear. An unusual feeling rose in his chest, almost like his heart clenched at the sight of you laying asleep on him. The sun shining on your face, highlighting every feature. In that moment, you really looked like the most ethereal thing he had laid eyes on.

His fingers paused, this feeling was very new to the blonde and he didn't know how to decipher it. But he had a slight idea of what it might be.

Goo had always seen you in a different light, maybe this was confirmation of what it been all this while. He wasn't good with the topic of romance, he'd never even dated someone for legit.

But he knew that the happenings of today were gonna change the way he looks at you. He could already see the future where you completely snatch his attention even in a room full of others. Or just him purposefully undoing his collar so you would correct it.
