Finally had the chance to participate in @polyamships Polyam Shipping day! This month's theme was Explore!

My idea for this one was they went out for a date to a wildlife park and got horribly lost. Yuya and Yuzu have probably never used a map before (don't worry, Sora will help them find their way back!)

I got into a new polyship

Yeah honestly that one "Shut Up and Dance" PMV might've swayed me. I watch it a lot since I love the song and I love Arc V, though only recently did I consider the ship in the video. I never even considered the Yuya/Sora or Yuzu/Sora parts of the polyship but... the more I think about it, Yuya and Yuzu were BOTH Sora's first friends and by the end, still his best friends. His interactions with the two of them in season 1 are really compelling and it really does tie this trio of characters together to me. So... why not? I love Fruitshipping and I love Sora so slapping the two together sounds good to me.

Human Kuriboh (Judai Yuki/Jaden Yuki), Asussy baka (Asuka Tenjouin/Alexis Rhodes) and the Chazz (Jun Manjoume/Chazz Princeton) | Yu-Gi-Oh! GX - Bi. They're literally bi. Just smashing Fianceé and GX Rivalshipping into a threesome 👌 <I have seperated headcanons for them>

Judai sleeps everywhere. He likes to visit the forest because it's perfect for a camping site. He can play the rock guitar (Yes I'm working in a concept GX FNF mod with this one). Like Dexter, he has a comedic and weird sense of humor. The human Kuriboh has an iron stomach. He is a bad chef. Judai is a German-Japanese Slifer Student - his mother is Japanese while his father is German-Japanese as well. Judai's parents portrays his partner (Winged Kuriboh) for his mother and his incarnation (The Supreme King) for his father respectively.

There are no headcanon informations for Asuka, but I think that casual American clothes fits her (especially jeans).

Manjoume is a scenemo goth (despite this theme doesn't fit for his funny personality and his deck lol) idiot who likes, well, the black color. His outfit with the black coat seems fit for him in terms of his Suneo-styled black hair and his face.

Tomato Girl (Yuya Sakaki) | Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V - I can see this tomato as a trans girl clown with autism using my two eyes I swear (p.s. her hair lenght and feminine Yuya in some scenes) and is the human equivalent of Pinkie Pie (without the ɔɹɐz part). Guys I'm here for Reiji x Shun x Yuya, Emblemshipping, Fruitshipping, Jubilantshipping, Entertainmentshipping and Connectshipping. Who wants to join with me?

Serena/Celina | Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V - I'm here for this Lesbian Furry™ but ofc for entertainment purposes

The man in the dark (Susan "Mandark" Astronomonov) | Dexter's Laboratory - People headcanoning him as trans but for me, I see him as androgynous (the crowd boos). Trust me, being born as a boy and forced to be a girl is a painful experience in life (even though I was naturally born female) but headcanoning him as trans doesn't fit that fact (especially for me). I don't (literally) see him as a villain (except for his future selves).

#86: “Am I scaring you?”

There were other girls inside of her—other girls, but not her, but girls that sometimes felt like her, that could, in another universe, maybe even be like her. When Yuzu first learnt that there were other identities in her, she was shocked. Horrified. Maybe even a bit angry that she hadn't known all along, that this piece of news popped up a week after the Arc Area Project but that the girls all knew. How did they all know about her and she didn't know about them?

It seemed ridiculous too and she hadn't told anyone about it until she found out that Yuuya had the same circumstance as her—there were other boys, other Yuuyas inside him too. It wasn't like every person waltzing down the street had a couple extra beings living inside them, but Yuuya's behaviour and actions ... well, she knew he was like her because she spotted those same behaviours in herself: different hairstyles and outfits, speech mannerisms and gestures; different interests and dislikes, and at times, different memories and values. Sometimes Yuzu found herself admiring the tall, lanky boy in her first year English class named Shun, even though she never knew Shun personally and the two of them had spoken less than ten words between the two of them for the entire semester of university. Other times she felt new behaviours; she found out that, even though she'd never ridden a motorcycle before, she could drive one on that one time she and a classmate toured around the city on a scooter.

These odd occurrences always had her raising an eyebrow, but Yuuya was the same as her. He’d told her, Sometimes, it's like there's a whole another person inside of me—a whole another several persons, all here, and, Is that weird, Yuzu? Do I sound crazy?

He should have, but instead, Yuzu only smiled warmly at him. I get it, she'd told him. I know what you mean.

But Sora didn't have that. Sora was just Sora, their outgoing underclassmen, a year younger than the both of them and fresh into university with personality and flair. He'd shown up in get-ups that would even have Yuuya in his flamboyant parachute pants gasping, and Yuzu turning her head as he strut down the hallway in clashed colours and mixed fabrics. If Sora had his hair up or down or changed his entire look for one day, she never thought differently because, well, no matter what he did he always was Sora. There wasn't that shift with Sora, that slight change in being that had her wondering if she wasn't speaking to him, but to someone else within him. He was just always Sora.

Yet there was the matter of telling Sora that there were other beings within her. Yuuya hadn't told him either, and though even open relationships could have private secrets, Yuzu still felt that Sora ought to know what up with her.

She tilted back on her heels, back pressed into the corridor hallway. Students milled around her, heading off to other lectures or to the cafeteria or library. Normally, she'd be weaving among the throng of uni students too with Yuuya hot on her heels. However, Yuuya was next to her, fiddling with his hands and talking just to keep the awkward silence between them at bay.

All classes should have finished at the same time, but Sora's lecture seemed to get out later than everyone else's. Fretfully, Yuzu worried her hands together, eyes darting for a familiar dollop of blue hair. In all her panic, she didn't even see him approach until he waved a hand in her face.

"What're you doing here? Thought we were heading to the library."

Normally, they would. If Sora suspected something was off about them, it didn’t show on his round face. Even as a young adult, he still looked too youthful among the throws of overtired and malnourished students. The glimmer in his eyes and the sparkle of his smile shone down the bleak corridor. She and Yuuya fell in line with him and wandered down the corridors, feeling like two mourning widows alongside a circus performer.

"Doesn't it feel like the sort of day we should be outside? Sun's out, gun's out as the folks would say."

She hadn't even noticed how warm a day it was. Sunlight tickled her cheeks and a cool breeze swept her skirt, but a prickle of unease crawled over her arms.

"We could study outside," she heard Yuuya say through clenched teeth. He was smiling, but barely. Forcefully. As if a jester had pulled back his lips and forced the expression onto his face.

Sora raised an eyebrow, first to him and then to her. A stone caught in her throat. He knew. He must have known; he wasn't dumb. Yet he held his tongue and led them to a quaint, grassy spot on the field, under the gentle shade of a firm Japanese oak. Yuzu tucked her legs to the side and pulled out her textbook, even though she knew her mind was too frazzled to even study. Yuuya plucked at several blades of grass and twirled them between his fingers.

When Sora only stared at the both of them, Yuzu forced herself to speak up.

"Do I ever feel different to you?"

Sora blinked. "You do now. What's up?"

"Do I feel different on other days though? Not today, I'm ..." She couldn't just say, I'm me today. That would only make her sound silly. But whatever else came to her mind sounded silly too, and judging by Yuuya's pinched eyebrows, he knew what was coming too.

"Do you ever think we feel a little ... off? Like you might have met someone else?" Yuuya's forced smile only made the situation more awkward, so much that Yuzu felt goosebumps rise on her arms. Sora only looked confused, and staring between them like they'd each grown a second head.

"I ... guess?" Sora bounced his shoulders. "Why?"

"Because ... well ..." Yuzu cleared her throat, praying that whatever words left her mouth would make an inkling of sense, for Sora's sake more than her own. "Because sometimes I'm not me."

She expected Sora to back away, or his mouth to drop like a broken hinge, or for him to take on some dramatic pose and make a big deal. She would have. But even when Yuuya repeated the same statement, Sora remained seated on the ground, hands folded in his lap. The only clue that he had even heard them was the soft 'mhm' uttered between his pressed lips.

Then: "I see."

"I know that sounds really weird, and it's not—"

"You're going through something—"

"No, no, it's not anything like that, nothing ... to do with my brain. It's more like—"

"Like my soul," Yuuya said, tapping his chest. "There aren't people in here"—he patted his head—"but here, inside me."

Before Sora could speak up, Yuzu jumped in. "It's not anything bad, I promise, we're not ... not crazy, no, that's rude and unkind to say, but more like ... like sometimes we're different people. That there ... are different people inside of us—other men and women, similar to us, but also different. And there's no rhyme or reason to when or why they appear, only that sometimes I feel like I'm not entirely me, like someone else is holding one of the reins and guiding me. And that makes no sense, so I completely understand—"

"But I do understand."

A blink. A swallow. "You ..."

"Well." Sora scratched the top of his head, messy blue hair tied up in a wild ponytail. "I don't understand that specifically, but I understand what you're saying."

"Are we scaring you though?" Yuuya asked. "People don't just—they don't just say they have other ... beings inside them."

Sora's light laughter cut away a sliver of the awkwardness between them. "Well no, but I didn't just think after the Arc Area Project that everything went back to normal and no one hung around, even in consciousness. I figured that the other Yuuyas and Yuzus, if I can call them that, were with you, if not in the flesh but in spirit. And that's what you're saying, right? They're still in there."

"Y-yes." Her voice itched in her throat, and no matter how full her heart felt at hearing Sora's kind words, a sliver of anxiety pricked her mind. "But still ..."

"We didn't tell you ..." Yuuya said, echoing her thoughts.

"You didn't have to."

"But ..."

"You didn't have to," Sora repeated, this time taking them both by the hands. "You're my friends, and still you don't have to tell me everything. And I wasn't going to go prying into your dark secrets wondering what happened to those other people. Even if you never told me, I know all along that you're still Yuuya and Yuzu, my friends and teachers, even if some other personalities have bled through."

"Isn't that ... not normal?"

Another laugh, coming from the bottom of his toes. Sora nearly tumbled back into the tree trunk, legs flailing in loose, flowing bohemian pants.

"I never said it was normal, but that isn't really anything I was concerned about, all details considered."

To her surprise, she felt a giggle bubble in her throat, and Yuuya, for the first time in what felt like months, had a proper smile on his face. A sick feeling still swam in his gut, and she imagined it wouldn't be leaving anytime soon, not when there was still so much to say and do. But no matter how much she felt herself fret, Sora only looked happy sitting between them and chatting away, carrying the conversation like he always did.

It was a secret worth keeping, she told herself, at least for a while. But now, as she settled back into the grass and propped her book on her knees, she felt lighter than air.

That wasn't so scary after all.

Musicboxshipping is probably 🙂. Like it’s cute, I love it but I don’t fully support the ship. Yuzu and Sora are good together but I feel more as friends than anything closer.

As for Candyshipping and Jubilantshipping probably 😐 for both. I don’t know why, but Yuya/Sora is cute and all but I’m not sure how to feel about it entirely. Same for jubilant, that one just feels a little awkward because it’s a threesome ship…

Why I like them/why I don’t

I disliked him when he first appeared cuz EVERYONE was already like “HE VECTOOORO!!!! HE MY SWEET BOOOOOOOOOOY!!! OOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!” and just nuts over him when hadn’t... done anything yet. and then after his duel with yuya i was like, no i like you now when everyone was bitching about him lol :’D

I find him to be a really interesting character and i loved his development and his relationship with yuya and yuzu and how genuine that was and the tipping point for his development was because he had friends now.
