❆ okay pspsp hello i have question:

so thanks to the curse, juliet fell MADLY in love with Gwen at first sight, right? and he KNOWS it isn’t genuine love, right? so.

how long after the curse is lifted does it take for him to genuinely fall in love again? or feel confident in his own feelings to not think that they’re fake, or being controlled by someone else? how long until he sees gwen as someone he can ACTUALLY love? :( ❆

During his time under the curse, Juliet was entirely obsessed with Gwen. Everything Gwen did was like the work of God to Juliet. Hell, Gwen might as well have been god to him. To Juliet, Gwen did no wrong. Everything regarding Gwen he had to devote his life to. Gwen was his life. Gwen defined Juliet.

Juliet’s love and obsession for Gwen felt entirely genuine, that’s what made it so painful. Juliet was aware he was cursed and was being used to get information out of Gwen, yet the feelings didn’t feel any less real.

He knew it was disingenuous, yet it felt genuine.

So afterwards, it would be difficult for Juliet to tell what was real and what was fake. He’d start to not trust himself with anything, he feels like he can’t do anything alone anymore. Which I think would actually lead him to seek out Gwen :(

Gwen, no matter what Juliet did, was always by his side. He never expressed any negativity towards him and he was always there as support. He was always kind, always welcoming. In all ways, Gwen was exactly the kind of person Juliet would fall in love with.

So, to stop myself from rambling even further… I think Juliet’s cursed love for Gwen actually made him love them even more. The fact that Gwen always stayed there and never tried to push him away. That’s what made Juliet fall in love with Gwen. For real this time :,)

♡ God I know you said not the love at first sight thing but… god I can really see Juliet first finding interest in Gwen just by seeing them walk by. The strength of their strut, the confidence in their posture, and by god they’re pretty on top of that Juliet would be DONE

♡ Another circumstance I think would be Gwen sparking conversation with them. In an au where Gwen hasn’t been through fucking hell and back, imagine him telling Juliet about his art :,) Juliet just being so fascinated, so interested, so enthralled. At one point, they find that they start listening for more than the art. They fall even more in love because the art is from Gwen :,)
