[THEME 28] Circadium 2.0
Yes! Sweet baby Jesus it’s finally here, and boy does it look great and run smooth as silk! This is a revisitation of Theme 16, Circadium, which boasted a complete day/night cycle based on the user’s system clock, but used some horribly inefficient code to do so since I was still getting a feel for JavaScript at the time. 2.0 gets rid of most of the backbreaking overhead, is much easier to use and customize, and has hand-drawn celestial bodies in the background for a little extra personality :]
Hit me up as always if there’s any issues with the theme; I’ve been away from the Tumblr theme making scene for a while so I might be rusty, haha. There’s a lot of old work that needs updating...
Live Preview; looks different depending on the time
Features
Fluid day/night cycle that transitions between three end states (noon/twilight/dusk)
The sun and moon in the background also change position based on time to simulate rising and setting
Responsive sidebar!
500px posts
Like and reblog buttons
Unlimited custom links
Five color options for day and night mode, totaling 10 colors
Custom fonts
Unnested captions
Supports new post types and pinned posts
Lots of options for post transparency levels, borders, shadows etc
idk what else it’s just lit
Install: [Pastebin]

[THEME 30] Papercrush
My first time submitting something to the theme garden, haha. This theme experiments with neumorphism - a modern response to the skeuomorphic UI styles of the 2000s, when designers tended to make elements look realistic and not just like flat objects on a screen. By nature this is a very low-key, low-contrast sort of style, which in my experience has a soothing effect - but a “flat mode” does exist too, with the drop shadows replaced by borders, for those who prefer the 2010s look.
Layout-wise, this was inspired by and named after Peter Vidani’s Papercut theme, the first I ever used on Tumblr. I thought the single column look and cute post info “bubbles” had aged well and wanted to create a more up-to-date version that supported NPF posts.
Live preview | Install [Theme garden]
Features
Fully responsive posts, max width 500px or 700px
Unlimited custom links
Optional “sticky” navigation bar with links and pagination
Supports new post types and unnested captions
6 color options
Custom fonts and sizes
Flat mode available if you don’t care for the neumorphism aspect
Jump pagination
Reblogs are always appreciated if using, or just if you think my work is neat :>

Theme #18: AnnexusÂ
after a lot of procrastination it’s finally done >:’D in addition to all my usual features, this theme has a really nifty pagination system and boasts a robust amount of jquery to do a lot of cool stuff!
likes and reblogs are always appreciated! feel free to message me or check out my other themes if you’d like, too.
[static preview] [code] (wait 5 seconds and click “skip ad”)
features:
unlimited custom links
post dates + like and reblog buttons
some pretty sweet pagination ;]
fade in/out ask and submit boxes (links hidden if disabled for the blog)
the crowning feature: an optional tabbed look for the blog content that gives the impression of switching tabs when the ask/submit buttons are clicked. permalink pages appear to be opened in the archive tab, and this effect persists even on the actual /ask and /submit pages, so direct links to the askbox will still work the same way!
optional color-to-image (or another color) gradient background, fully compatible with the tabs
optional search bar
optional drop shadows
custom:
20 color options - all colors customizable
background image and size (tiled/stretched)
font and size
favicon
titles on description and custom links
tooltip and scrollbar (chrome/safari/opera only)

Theme #16: Circadium
the first tumblr theme to use a fluid day/night cycle. based on user-input color values for three end states (noon, midnight, and 6 am/pm), this theme will automatically calculate your background palette depending on the viewer’s time of day and even add in stars and clouds if you’d like!
there is a considerable amount of javascript at work behind the scenes here so the rest of the theme has been kept deliberately simple to help keep loading times to a minimum. i’d dearly appreciate any feedback about glitches and such, though i’ve spent a long time taking care of any possible bugs to ensure this runs smoothly.
live preview / static day preview / static dusk preview / static night preview
code is here!
features:
400px/500px posts
like and reblog buttons
unlimited custom links
jump pagination
18 color options
optional custom favicon, slide-in/out description, and sidebar image
optional paused time cycle, which only displays one palette of your choice at all times
optional sun/clouds during the day and moon/stars during the night
custom font and size
made in and optimized for chrome, looks great on any resolution.
likes and reblogs are lovely as always! if you’d like, you can also check out other themes i’ve made or drop me a message.

Theme #14: Brick-BreakerÂ
I’m slowly moving towards more responsive layouts that adapt to a broad range of screen widths. This theme scales excellently to any standard screen size, automatically switching from sidebar to header mode if the viewport is too narrow to accommodate the posts and sidebar alongside each other.
However, as my skills get better it makes less and less sense for me to not monetize them, so from here on most of my codes will be accessible after viewing a short ad. (Does not apply to the preview, only actual code)
static preview / code (wait 5 seconds and click “skip ad”)
features:
400px/500px posts with optional rounded corners
two borders
cute post type-dependent icons on all headings
timestamps and color customizable like/reblog buttons on index page
unlimited automatically numbering custom links
automatically centering sidebar with optional background image (will look like a regular free-floating sidebar without the background)
jump pagination
21 color options - all colors changeable
optional inverted tumblr controls
custom scrollbar, favicon (optional) and tooltip
optional small sidebar image
custom font and size
credits:
Font Awesome for the customizable icons
@magnusthemes and @neothm for their unnested captions plugin
Note: This is not intended to replace your mobile theme! It’s not that responsive. It only scales properly to dimensions within the range of desktop screen widths. Optimized for Chrome, Safari and Opera.
I always appreciate any support in the form of likes and reblogs ^o^b

Theme #12: Wrath & Angels
A lavish, ornate little thing, full of embellishments that say “I serve no real purpose, but damn if I don’t look cool as hell”. So really, a good fit for the character that inspired it! Seriously though, I’m quite proud of this one; it’s a very versatile kind of layout without compromising functionality and will work well with almost any sort of blog.
[wrath preview] [angels preview] [code]
features:
400px posts
22 color options including all the usual like bold/italic/links/tags
toggleable bold and italic for easy reading
custom webkit scrollbar, favicon, and tooltip
custom post/description fonts and font sizes
optional translucent/transparent/opaque posts and sidebar
optional tall sidebar image, ideally a repeating pattern but works for large images too. to keep the actual content from overflowing, the image will automatically disappear when the viewport is narrower than 1050px, so depending on your resolution you might not see it in your customize page even when enabled - that’s normal, don’t worry!
custom subtitle below main blog heading
jump pagination
stretched or tiled background image
like/reblog buttons and timestamps on index page
unlimited custom links, made with liberal use of flexbox so they automatically take up the whole line if they gotta
smooth scrolling (credit)
send any feedback or bug reports my way on this blog! and as always, likes and reblogs mean a lot to me ;0
