who are the other jasons and what's their story? 👀

So far there is:

Son of Aphrodite!Jason who was raised to be a perfect star by Beryl Grace. He was never allowed to get dirty or play rough because it'd ruin his looks; the only powers he actually has is glamour (no charmspeak), so he can change his appearance; he has Big Crush on son of Hades!Nico, who teaches him how to fight.

Son of Neptune!Jason, who was raised in Atlantis because New Rome wanted to kill a 3yo baby. He doesn't really fit in with his godly siblings but tries to be diplomatic. Praetor di Angelo (son of Jupiter) is trying to change Roman politics and rebuild a relationship between Atlantis and New Rome. He's also very serious about his job because Persephone Jr. (Persy Jr.) Jackson, son of Pluto saved him from the Lotus Casino and is basically his big brother. .

Son of Hades!Jason, who found Son of Zeus/Hera!Nico instead of Daughter of Zeus/Hera!Bianca, and the antics related to that.

Didn't expect to be making any posts on chapter three (or anymore on Poppy, period) but fuck it, here's some of my thoughts on it lol.

I like that this one leans a little more into the horror aspect of the game. Cos chapter two's cool and all, but it's not very scary, is it? But I was watching a playthrough of three and I actually felt the tension as you traverse through PlayCare, especially when you can see CatNap stalking through the area.

As for the newbies in this one, I'm not super into some of the designs. Like, uh, the Smiling Critters, I think they're called? I feel like they were leaning a little too hard into making them look uncanny. idk, the black eyes w/ pinprick pupils and giant grins just wasn't doing it for me. CatNap's was fine, but I think I'd rank him lower than the chapter two toys if I had to. Miss Delight was by far my favorite (Both her cartoon and game render designs). The busted up mouth showing off her teeth, the makeshift mace, the torn up dress. God, I wish she hadn't died. Would have loved to see her again.

Ollie feels a little sus to me. Like, Poppy does too, but something about Ollie himself is setting off alarm bells in my head. Can't quite put my feelings as to why into words though. idk, maybe after I watch a couple more playthroughs I'll be able to explain myself.

Speaking of Poppy, she's somewhat back to her demeanor from the beginning of chapter two, which really makes me wonder what her deal at the end of that chapter was about. idk, we'll probably get an explanation further down the line.

Uh, what else? The new hands are cool, wonder if we're getting more. I can't really comment on the lore stuff seeing as how I haven't thought about the game in about a year, but it's certainly there. Kissy's also there. I've been kinda ambivalent towards her and Huggy but we'll see if that changes as the game goes on.
