I know I have ranted about this before but seriously!! Like yes the sequels/prequels would be upsetting to some extent. But I still think the biggest freak out potential for Reggie would not have been hearing about Jar Jar....No he would be discussing New Hope with someone when they mention something about the Jabba scene. The Jabba scene that did not exist in the Star Wars he knew because he died two years before it was added.

Like this boy(who immediatley jumped to Julie is a witch) is gonna initially think he stumbled into some parellel universe or something.

I told both my parents about my walking cane

I bought it while away at college and it was a decision I made on my own by myself because my support splints and support bandages weren’t cutting it anymore.

I told my parents it was a recommendation by my new general practitioner after she asked about my knee problems – a blatant fucking lie but my cane helps me lots and I brought it with me this semester break

Also I’m queer and have been writing fanfic for over a decade now, if I wasn’t used to lying to my parents I would have major problems

Not that they ever gave a fuck when I tried coming out but hey

Which is also to say: if you claim AuDHDers “can’t lie” or are all “sweet innocent beawns uwu”, your local autistic is entitled to knock some sense into you

Friendly reminder that Fredegar Bolger was one of Frodo’s close friends and knew about the Ring as well, but stayed behind in order to keep Frodo’s disappearance a secret for as long as possible.

I've never been a fan of capitalism

And when you unnecessarily punish all your staff by reducing the amount of tips they can have, that's just low and very rude.

Just a tip, even if you work for a local business, they can end up being the worst capitalist pigs out there. Everyone claims they wanna support local but just remember that behind closed doors, local businesses can be hurtful to their staff just as much as big businesses.

Obviously this isn't the case for all local businesses, but just be wary.

Listen, you gotta make your own fun.

I get so tired of hearing coworkers and friends complain about being bored or not having any interesting interests or feeling like a zombie. We all have some zombie periods in life but overall you just gotta make your own fun.

And the MAKE part is the key. Passively participating in anything only offers so much joy. If you’re gonna sit and watch sports, for example, be a fool for it. Dress up. Throw parties. Guard tail or gatekeeper or whatever it is sports people do. Get involved the fandom. Make some stuff. Learn more about it and then share your new info. Hobbies generally require effort but people still consider them worthwhile and enjoyable for a reason. Hell, read a book. Write a book review.

I’m currently spiraling into BLs and K-Pop and couldn’t be happier exploring these two new realms. There is so much to do! To see! To listen to! To talk about and interact with! To create!

Anyways if you think you’re boring you probably are. You’re gonna have to do something about it. DO SOMETHING.

Make Something.

Ain’t no rules. It doesn’t have to be cool to anyone else but you. Your passions may not make you popular but at least you won’t be bored.

I wonder how common it is for people with DID to be told they look younger or older than they are, or for others to be genuinely surprised at their body’s age.

Like, that’s always happened to me growing up and still today, and they’re right. I’m 18 and the body’s 28. It’s interesting that it’s so obvious when I didn’t even know growing up that it’s okay for me to identify as younger than my body, and thus I wasn’t acting younger on purpose, I was just acting like me if that makes sense. -Ace
