We Burmese place flowers in these pots to welcome in our New Year known as Thingyan. Thingyan started today, but there is nothing to celebrate, as the death toll from the military airstrikes in Kanbalu earlier this week is now at 168, including 21 primary school children. I wish Myanmar could see a happy new year again.
If they can’t fly, they can’t bomb - please sign the Burma Campaign UK petition to sanction aviation fuel here https://action.burmacampaign.org.uk/sanction-aviation-fuel-now (link also in my bio)

We are very saddened by the tragic loss of our fellow citizens who were from different tribes and religion backgrounds. It is our desire that the media and world recognize all the fallen martyrs as we don't want their sacrifices to be in vain. Please help us raise awareness of this issue. Thank you.

REIGN OF TERROR
Tumblr media
More than 900 people have been killed and more than 3800 political prisoners have been detained & inhumanly tortured so far as Myanmar’s military junta continues to administer the use of appalling and brutally horrific methods to quell anti-coup protests.
Protesters, by standers, children’s, medical workers are shot to the head, tortured, burnt alive, beaten to death, tied up and dragged along on motorbikes – perpetrated by junta troops in police, soldier, or civilian clothes.
It’s a sheer state sponsored terrorism inflicted on its own citizens whom the army had vowed to protect.
If the oppression and the killings go on like this, then an evident full blown civil war is going to explode, “I CAN CLEARLY HEAR THE ECHOES OF SYRIA”…

It’s 2021. Hopefully things would get better. I was so hyped to go out after the vaccine,
and Myanmar was taken over by the military government, again.
They are planning to cut down all the internet connection at 12 a.m in order to take our freedom of speech.

We are in the end game now. Peaceful protestors of Myanmar at Sule Pagoda Road. We never knew what is the feeling of living under "Democracy" . We kind of felt gold-plated democracy in previous (5) years which is governed by Mother Suu " Aung San Suu Kyi" NLD party. But NLD government didn't have the full power since the military leaders have been taking control of the country more than 50 years . Most of the govern laws were prescribed by the dictators and military generals. Now we knew the main fact. If we want "Democracy", the military must be taking care of what military should just like every other countries in the world. The military must not interfere the state administration. The dictatorship must end in this generation. TOGETHER WE MUST WIN. MYANMAR DESERVES DEMOCRACY.

"If not now, when?
If not this generation, who...?
On 8.8.69, at a zebra crossing in St John's Wood, photographer Iain Macmillan took the iconic photo that became the cover image of the Beatles' album Abbey Road.
The iconic zebra historical photo of the Beatles at Abbey Road'sphoto made in 1969 led to a new beginning of musicality....
On 8.8.22 Burmese youth made a similar step in front of Sule pagoda downtown showing their own creativity, strategy, and defiance against the old conservative inhumane regime.
Time apart such creativity, strategy, and symbolism will signify the revolution like the music of the rhetoric our70s. Musically, it is one of the strongest 16 minutes in pop history, medley. My favorite song is Suchin rhetoric
“Carry That Weight,” “Something” and “Here Comes The Sun,” tho “All Things Must Pass” and “The End” ... “Because” …hope these symbolic titles of the songs too bless the rhetoric our youth..
Such strategy, symbol, and creativity will sustain revolution leading to success for democracy."
