julian had quite wisely opted not to allow cecilia to wobble her own way down the stairs to 2306 after a night’s drinking — so, neither particularly wanting to brave the stairs half-drunk in the dead of night, she found herself snuggling down into a makeshift bed upon his floor. “hey jay-jay,” she asked, turning over in the covers to face his bed, hazy eyes blinking up at him from below as her foot nudged one of the empty water bottles he’d made her finish, “how much water do you think i’d have to drink to accidentally drown myself?”

trying to adjust to the stream of bright sunlight into the bedroom, stevie blinked with bleary eyes and looked around as julian plopped back onto the mattress right beside her. she felt mostly fine just then, but a headache was already beginning to set in. ugh. no doubt she’d soon be feeling the full effects of the previous night. she glanced over at her friend, suddenly squinting as she thought hard about something. “did you actually try to climb a huge-ass tree in the park last night, or did i just dream that?” she was pretty sure it wasn’t a dream, but in all honesty, most of the previous night was lost to her. she’d blacked out HARD.

“your algorithm’s busted.” heath comments, putting the bag of groceries he’s just carried in down by his side as he encounters julian in the lobby.  “kapoot!” hands raise above his head in exasperation, only to then press his lips together tautly and whisper boom in his best improv class rendition of what a bomb would be like exploding, before bringing his limbs back down to his sides. “all because i’m pretty sure i met the devil incarnate on thursday night.” the mere thought brings a frown to his face, eyes pleading with julian for sympathy. “... i also got catfished. but honestly that was the least of my concerns.”

rafael had always been one to work out alone, or... do everything alone, until about a year ago. he never really expected to have a workout buddy, let alone one in the same building; he was just that fortunate. this was one of their gym days, and raf was heading down to julian’s apartment in his athletic gear and winter coat, bag in tow. he shoots julian a smile as soon as he opens the door, “good morning, julian. are you ready to go?”

View’s magnificent. Asher went all out with thisone, generous of him.” He thought about exploring tomorrow, get to know theisland a little bit more. “Did you make an itinerary of what you’re going to dowhile we’re here or more freeform?” Once they’re out of the elevator, theyturned to the side, leading them closer to the beach.

"dia, or nat probably? dia can’t be trusted with a tamagotchi, but i think she would make a decent roommate. i don’t really mind living with brooks, though? i mean, it kind of sucks that he’s always at julian’s now, but it’s fine...it’s kind of like having my own place?”
