In less than an ten minutes it will mark year one of the day something truly left a mark on my life. I rolled onto my side looking at Jongin, he was sleeping soundly. He looked so handsome, even when he was sleeping. Just looking at him made my thoughts from before disappear. I sighed and pulled the heavy white duvet over my body. I checked my phone; 12:03am. All I had to do was see the time, and I could already feel my cheeks heating up. My eyes filled with tears, I knew that I couldn't keep the quiet sobs in. I didn't even have any motivation to stand up to go to the bathroom and keep quiet. But Jongin. Jongin didn't know what had happened a year ago, and my intention was for him to never find out. But he couldn't, so I stood up slowly, my body feeling heavy. I walked to the bathroom slowly and my chest getting heavier by each step. I just wanted to sit down and cry for as long as I could. Once I opened the door I turned on a dim light and slumped against the wall. By now I just let the tears flow, I wasn't embarrassed to hold back the tears. Memories from that day flooded into my mind, everything. My younger brother the room, everything. I let out a soft whimper and wiped my tears, pulling Jongins thin grey shirt over my eyes. I nearly jumped when I heard a knock on the door. "Y/n, are you okay?" I could hear the worry in his voice, he was worried about something. I'm guessing he heard me crying, "y/n, hey can I come in" the worry in his voice was getting more and more noticeable. But I could also hear how tired he was "Uh, I'll be out in a second" I stood up and wiped my tears checking the mirror, he wouldn't see my stained cheeks because of how dark it was. So I just let it go. I opened the door and turned the light off, Jongin touched my hand and turned the light back on. He closed his eyes from the bright light. "Baby, why, are you okay?" He wrapped his arms around my waist, I could instantly feel his body heat radiating of him and onto me. I tucked my head into his chest and just let it out. How am I supposed to keep it in? Not even half the crying was out, and I couldn't just hold it in. He let go of me with his hands still attached to my waist. He looked me up and down, the word worry might as well have been written on his face. He kissed my forehead softly and turned the bathroom light off, hitting the dim Room light on so he could still see me. "Jongin, i still remember" I could barely choke out four words, he pulled me to the bed and sat across from me. I just laid my head on his chest and cried more. Gripping his thin shirt into my fists. He patted my back and kissed my forehead over and over, repeating the words, it's okay, don't worry, I'm here. "What happened? Is everything okay?" He lifted my head off his chest, but I just kept my head low. After almost ten minutes I worked up the courage to say something. "Jongin, this is embarrassing" he brushed my hair out of my face, his soft hands passing my cheek. I get embarrassed, I shouldn't though. I loved Jongin, he loved me, so even if this was a lot to take in he should be okay, hopefully. "It's just, a year ago today, m-my, my brother, we were alone and-" he pulled me close and squeezed me tight. "Y/n, I'm so sorry" I let it out, and all of it. I told him about everything, that whole day. He just listened to me and nodded. He held my hand and squeezed in every once in a while. We talked for about an hour, I should say I talked for an hour. Jongin just listened to me. "And that's all" I let out an nervous laugh, he leaned in and hugged me tight. I rested my head on his shoulder letting out and uneasy sigh. "I'm glad you were able to tell me this, really, I'm glad you can tell me things" he spoke quietly, I was glad he didn't think of me differently. Which in my head I thought would be his first thought, that he would think of me differently. I let go of the hug and he smiled, "I love you" he kissed me softly. "I love you too" he stood up and turned off the light, I laid back onto my bed, Jongin laid next to me. He pulled the heavy white duvet back over us. I sighed and he rolled over putting his head on my chest. He played with my, his, thing grey shirt. "I just want to sleep" I held his hand and he squeezed it lightly, "night Jongin" "Yea lets sleep, night baby" after that it was easy to fall asleep, Jongin was next to me.
