Kaishima!

Okay I know I’ll get kicked out of the server if I don’t do this ship justice so…

In both island existence routes these two part meaningful advice unto one another. Kai being able to see through Mishima’s smoking habit and give him advice to stop is a pretty heartwarming moment I don’t think gets talked about a lot but hey, even Mishima’s got problems, and Kai wants to help! (Also I think there’s a severe lack of the gang helps Mishima quit smoking fics but that’s a topic for another day)

Also this is hard to put into words but there’s just a lot of… peace to the idea of Kaishima. Not in canon, but just… the life they both want works together so nicely together. A teacher and a househusband. It feels like such a kind vision you know?

Mishima also is an incredibly non-judgemental type, and he’d be willing to listen to Kai talk about his past and just say “You’re not a bad person.” Like he’s the exact type of person to do that.

I also think since Kai and Nao are friends in island mode, she’d support the pairing. She’d be super glad that her professor is getting a husband, and even if he’s got a weird sense of humor sometimes she finds him sort of silly and cute! They’re besties!

The two have really sweet island events i think!! Adn I think the idea of mishima and kai teaching each other stuff about their interests to be nice. Kai is telling his dear partner aaaaalll about how to make the most perfect eggs Benedict and Mishima is showing him how to paint. They are crocheting sweaters together ok.
