Kaishinshi redraw of this official merch art!
I've had this WIP sitting around on my folder for almost 2 years now, figured might as well just post it or it'll never see the light of day lmao

Hello Angel, idk if you're still accepting flashfic prompt ahah but if you do I hope it can help you escape boredom! 😆
Umm how about shopping for new clothes together on their off day? I was thinking of Kaishinshi for the prompt but you can write it with anyone you want 😆 Hope you'll have great days ahead!
Shiho has a thousand and one things she shouldn’t enjoy doing, not with the blood on her hands. Her parents, her sister…her fault.
She watches Kudō-kun and Kuroba-kun as they walk through the high-end shopping center, bantering back and forth. They fit each other so well. Where does that leave her? she wonders, and her heart aches.
Every time happiness threatens to overwhelm her it feels like a betrayal. She shouldn’t be this happy. Anxiety curls in her stomach, dark and bitter. One day they will leave, either of their own accord or because they will have finally had enough of her.
A snap and a pop and the sweet smell of smoke, and there’s a red rose in front of her. Kuroba-kun’s smile, earnest and entreating, and behind that, worry in his eyes.
Kudō-kun is more blatant in his worry, his face twisted in a scowl from it.
The rose has no thorns. They’ve all been broken away, leaving a bright green stem. In time, the petals will fall, and the thornless stem will brown and die. That is what makes it such a potent metaphor for love.
“Look,” Kudō says, gesturing to the shop front at the end of the corridor. “The Fusae Campbell fall line is out.”
“I know you’ve been eyeing that coat since the fashion show~” Kuroba says, Shiho feels herself perk up. Kuroba slides one of his hands into hers; Kudō takes the other.
So that’s what they’ve been doing. They’re in such harmony she had no idea what they were doing until they were here.
They get the coat for her, arguing over who gets to pay until Shiho can’t help herself and cracks a smile, buying it for herself. Throwing the coat over her shoulders, they pull her into another store, and then another, a whirlwind of fittings and clothes and accessories.
Kuroba is in a fluffy white monstrosity that calls itself a coat and frameless pentagon Dior glasses with gold accents, coupled with YSL heeled boots in leopard-print suede; he and Shiho have wrangled Kudō into a slim-fitting Armani suit that he bears with uncharacteristic grace.
Shiho wears her new gingko coat over a Lanvin bustier dress, trim and delicate with a sweetheart neckline, a bouquet of silk tulle roses hugging her waist.
She feels like herself for the first time in a long time, and their hands are so warm in her own. Kuroba Kaito, glamorous and every bit a diva, pulling them both forward like he owns the place. Kudō Shinichi bringing up the rear, composed and put together on the outside (but they just don’t know how reckless and scattered he is when left to his own devices.)
Her boys. Her perfect boys.
The ice around her heart is melting once more, a roaring inferno taking its place. She loves them, and they love her, and they’re all a little broken in their own ways, but that’s what makes this coming together all the more striking in its intensity.
Three little broken hearts, mended together to form one. Shiho resolves to not think, and focuses instead on the day, and two hands entwined with each of hers.
