❦ SUMMARY ❦

You need a change, a big one. When your estranged grandfather passes away and bequeaths you his farm in a little town just south of the middle of nowhere, you take it as the sign you needed to make a change instead of waiting for one.

The farm, while having fallen into a state of disrepair, is just the thing to cure your modern-world ailments. The people are kind and always ready to offer help, if a bit unusual. They have old superstitions, a haunted community center, and a resident wizard. Spoiler alert: those last two on the list take some getting used to.

Yes, things are different here but you have a sneaking suspicion that the slow pace and a certain alchemical practitioner are going to remind you that sometimes, all you need is time and a little bit of magic.

Author’s Note: In unsurprising news, I have still been in the trenches with my Stardew Valley hyperfixation. Then, along comes this lovely PC Gojo mod and the fate of this fic was sealed. It's going to be inspired a touch by that mod (which I will link below, full credit to that amazing modder) and will heavily follow a standard Stardew Valley play through timeline. I'm a lil nervous to write Gojo since he doesn't fall neatly into the character type I normally am drawn to but I have WRITING HANDS (like jazz hands but for writers :P ) and so I'm adding another fic to my WIPs list.

Persona Ideas: Kait- The Lost Rainbow (Mareas, Feor, and Arian)

Heyo, I'm back again with the persona ideas posts! :3 Sometime after making the moodboard for what my persona would be like in my novel, @thelostrainbowthenovel, I had an idea to imagine what my persona would be like if she came from the other three main kingdoms! Since I originally put her as coming from Erdennia(since I am an earth sign, and wanted to play around with giving my persona more tattoos), here is what she would be like if she were from Mareas, Feor, and Arian! I don't have separate name ideas for them at the moment, so for now they are all named "Kait", as it is short for Kaitlyn(my real/actual name). I still have to write up how my persona would be like in each kingdom, but for now I hope you guys enjoy these moodboards and style notes!^^

- Mareas

Her hair is between chin and shoulder-length, navy/dark blue in color. Her fashion style is a fairly simple but still classy one, that pulls more from a business casual look. Almost always has her arms and/or legs covered, as Mareasian weather can pretty chilly and she tends to run colder than most. When she does get to relax a little bit more with her clothing, than she likes wearing fun and colorful outfits, with plenty of jewelry and accessories. The stand-out feature of her character is that she is a mermaid, of the dark/siren-variety to be exact. Her mermaid form only comes out when she is completely submerged in water, but when she is in human form she still carries the slit-pupil eyes and some scales, which are mostly on the sides of her legs.

- Feor

Her hair is longer, about mid-back length, and a mix between light copper orange and blonde. Her fashion style is a bit more casual but still fun, with fun-cut tops, jackets, boots, and the occasional leather pants or fishnets. A lot of neutrals and dark reds, and flame motifs because she doesn't care if they are deemed "excessive" by others. The stand-out feature of her character is that she is a fire nymph. She mostly goes out in a more human form to better fit in with the public, but her longer, pointier elven-like ears and slit-pupils give hints to her secret. Her full nymph form is decked out in all warm colors, with her hair and body almost looking like they are "on fire".

- Arian

Her hair is shoulder-length and extra curly, with various shades of yellow, light orange, and pink throughout. Her fashion style is more dressed up and classy most of the time, with long, maxi-dresses with high slits and flowy sleeves, sandals, and plenty of jewelry. When she is having a more casual day, then she likes to have her outfits feel more "freeing" with shorts, loose shirts, and comfortable slip-on style shoes. The stand-out feature of her character is that she is a harpy-hybrid, having very large, pink wings that help her fly around. She does have a more bird-like form she can transform into, but most of the time only her wings and sharp nails/talons stay out.

Ruthari Week 2023

For this year's Ruthari week event, I will be writing a singular, multi-chaptered story that follows the prompts instead of multiple, unique one shots! this is the first year that I'm doing this and it's an exciting challenge!

(Working) summary: Runaan returns home from an especially difficult mission; he and Ethari go through the cycles of grief, acceptance, and healing together.
