since the news broke out about todokaras, i've been doing a lot of thinking. when it was revealed what todokaras actually is, i was far enough away to just point and laugh (especially since there's some offline shit i have to help deal with) and wipe my hands of certain blmatsus (along with those who defended or otherwise "lol i don't care about that") but then it was revealed that @/karacest, a person i was mutuals with, is a pedophile. while they're always very nsfw, the people they @ that *i* saw were 18+. i'm still trying to reel from this since i'm a survivor of csa - and she had known about it. she never asked for details but offered a shoulder. i realize that hindsight is 20/20 and there was no way i could've seen it unless i was privy to that circle (i certainly fucking wasn't). this past day, i've been talking to other blmatsu through dms and other means. one thing that's true right now is that i'm frustrated at a lot of things. i'm frustrated at todokaras & her crew: for being the "representative" blmatsus antis use to say "they don't know what fiction is uwu". when people look at the blmatsus, they immediately see people like todokaras and karacest and think "yep, that's what they're all like! every single one of them!" they also gaslighted the majority of fandom to silence anyone who tried to tell them to basically stop that shit (for example: https://twitter.com/basicbaka/status/847929400964161536). i'm frustrated at antis: while i understand where they were grossed out by the pairings, they've started a dichotomy unintentionally. because stinky and her crew wanted control, there had to be a hold for it - thus the "if you're not with us, you're an anti" dichotomy. if you dared to disagree with them, "you're better off blocked". we couldn't turn to antis because we're already blocked by them and others who *would've* listen to us. because of how vile they were and how much blmatsus were harassed by antis - thus making it easier for stinky & crew to quash dissent more. i'm frustrated at cringematsu: they really brought anti's black and white attitude (which meant both todokara's bullshit and blmatsus who are just into cause it's hot fiction) as well as creating a space where stinky and her crew can better groom her victims and make people fall in line easier. they had people believe that every single blmatsu (who was featured or not) were a certain way when it's not true. honestly, i really want to take a break from blmatsu. a lot of friends had already left me in the antis side (and because of cringematsu) and a lot of friends had already declared the fandom dead to them. it's really hard for me to look at it right now especially my favorite pairing since karacest was so kin with karamatsu. i still have a lot of feelings and this doesn't begin to cover it. this is just what i have for right now. i still really want to look at ichimatsu and fawn over him. i'm going to talk about this a little more obviously but these are the thoughts i managed to process. i'm not going to stop talking about this but i'm going to try to chill since i also use blmatsu/osomatsu-san to escape but i don't know. i don't know. this is too much for me.
