I have nothing Valentines-y to post today
So instead y’all have to stare at my wives and appreciate them
And better post them all together to mark the end of this weird little project. Idk why I challenged myself to redesign all 6 main Naruto girls in 1 week, but I did it.
Maybe because I wanted to test how I could exaggerate them, to explore a wider range of body types. And also for fashion. Can’t forget fashion.
I’m toying with the idea of drawing them as genin, to show how much a person can change in so little time, and the idea of drawing them as icky and awkward 12 year olds is fun to me. Even though, let’s be real, Temari was already a style icon at 13.
I’m unsure for now.
Happy Galetines day!

The last one
The very lastly last
Karin!
After going back to the drawing board and reworking her, here’s what I came up with.
The blue skin just wasn’t working. Everyone else besides Ino have matching hair and skin, and the blue just didn’t complement her character at all.
She’s a hothead, she’s feisty, she’s sexy, she’s intense, she’s RED.
And then I could use an electric blue for her outfit, for a nice high contrast and to show that Karin is very fashion forward.
I love that her canon hobby is collecting perfume, while also being in charge of an entire jail. She’s got THE RANGE.
And like I said in a previous post, I love Karin’s canon design. She just looks fantastic, at least to me. I love that she’s both nerdy and sexy, in the best ways. Again: RANGE.

Yes, Karin should take every opportunity to remind them who's boss.

Pair 2: Sakura and Karin! My beautiful girls~
Oh yeah, I'm always try to "dress up" and cover up the girls in my redesigns, so this time I started with "dressing down" the boys instead. Ended up with giving everyone unecessary skin exposure and adding nice extra details.
