30) How do their personalities compliment each other?

Truly the beauty of this is their personalities don't complement each other in any reasonable or natural way. They are all the worst parts of each other (highly strung, although in very different ways; unable to maintain so-called 'normal' relationships, although for very different reasons; desperate to Do Well and Be Successful, although they want/need different things from this)

Yet SOMEHOW, they match each other perfectly. Probably because they both know what is to be a little Fucked Up and Doing It Wrong, probably because they're both constantly side-eyeing each subtly to ask "is this right? Or no?" and probably because for the first time in a long time (too hesitant to say ever but lol maybe ever) they actually really care about being able to match another person. And I think that starts on this weird little twisted semi-competitive, somewhat confrontational level, but it really turns into "oh shit this person might... Understand?"

Anyway this is a lot of words to say nothing but I think the beauty is that surface level Sadie and surface level Katherine should never have been two people who actually give a shit about each other, because they're a brutal pharma CEO and a perky do gooder but actually they're both just funky little weirdos who don't play well with others and as soon as they realise that, everything changes.
