I have to say. Easily one of my favourite things in the entire AP Bio series is that canonically the entire town has a public holiday celebrating that one actor, Katie Holmes, from Dawkins creek specifically because she was from Toledo.

But what’s even better than that is the fact that there is only one family in the entirety of the town who does not celebrate this. And instead they Celebrate Jamie Farr, from MASH. AND THEY DO THIS BY CROSSDRESSING IN HIS MOST ICONIC DRESSES.

Anyway thus begins my essay as to why anyone who watches Always Sunny or AP Bio should also watch MASH…

i love that david duchovny wrote the episode of the x-files with the iconic mulder & scully baseball scene and gillian anderson wrote the episode where mulder realizes he was fated to be with scully and scully makes him tea (calling back to, "if there's iced tea in that bag, it could be love.") & i love that katie holmes & joshua jackson fought for joey & pacey to be endgame in dawson's creek. & i love that josh & sofia's favorite part of season 4 was ricky & gina's romance and that they're so excited to see both their characters in a healthy, happy, selfless relationship.

shoutout to all the actors who ship their characters, they're just like me for real.

Our next guest, Chad, has stories showing that growing up in Ohio can be Weird on Both Ends, with High Strangeness in the Middle. In the final narrative, Rachal, a Hospice social worker, had a patient whose reconnection with a Life Leech proved to be an exhausting experience. Okay y'all the people who came in 4 hours late were actually there to see Black Panther that was supposed to start at 8:15...and Jingle Ball didn't end until 9 😳 well at least they got to see Dua, that was incredible.

In closing: can't believe I almost didn't come to this because I thought 30 bucks was too much. Didn't know I'd be there for 5 hours but it was so worth it. Loads of artists I'd never go see in concert alone and they of course played the HITS. Non stop bops? Yes please! This healed my childhood trauma of not getting to go hahaha. It's too late for Trader Joes now but that's okay we're having McDonald's tonight!!
