Yes it happened in like late 2015 or 2016. Taylor was asked to be the maid of honor for her childhood friend Brittany (I don’t know how to spell it lol) and she posted on her IG about having a huge party down in Florida a few weeks or months before she married. Taylor was MIA, so half the fandom thought maybe she went down there for Brittany’s party, but who knows if she did. It looked more like a pre wedding vacation for the bride and grooms families. But the fandom decided she MUST be there, and there was a pic of a blonde woman who had straight shoulder length hair in one of the pics which led the unhinged kaylors to claim it was Karlie, even though literally all of brittany’s family were blondes lol. But if Taylor was there, Karlie HAD to be there too.

It was a big kaylors vs tayvin fight lol. But then the pics (which were probably staged for the paps) hit with a time stamp so the kaylors just rolled with it lol. It was a romantic #kaylorproof that Karlie would be there for Brittnay’s engagement party or whatever, so they didn’t want to admit Karlie wasn’t there. But they couldn’t argue with literal proof she was not there, but they also loved the idea of Karlie helping a homeless man walk across the sidewalk and proving she was the sweetest sunshine to ever sunshine. Lol it was quite the conundrum for them back then. But once it was revealed Brittany and her husband were Trump supporters, the kaylors let it go and never mentioned them again lol.
