No18 : Winery tour
1:OPUS ONE
2:STAG'S LEAP
3:Kenzo Estate
I was really surprised at the luxury of Opus One Winery. I didn't make a reservation at Stag's Leap Winery, so I couldn't tasting wine. I enjoyed wine and sandwiches at Kenzo Estate.

Can you even imagine the furore it would have caused if Harry had attended the Louis Vuitton show instead of Zayn and Louis had followed Kidsuper. They would be dusting off their timelines and adding minutes to their proof videos by telling us of their amazing discovery about KidSuper’s history with Louis Vuitton and how it’s obvious that Louis followed them as he is still in Harry’s life.
They would show up on tiktok laughing for 10 mins and then letting you into their secret discovery. Content successfully created 60k likes, now they can pay rent for another week! Success. Link to another gofundme shared, a few pieces of fake merch sold on etsy! Larrie business is good business for Larries, especially made up Larry proofs!
I had no idea what KidSuper was 🙂.
So Colm Dillane, an American who started printing T-shirts from his native Brooklyn when he was 15, is the designer behind the KidSuper fashion brand. After Virgil Abloh died in 2021, Louis Vuitton has had a series of “guest designers,” and Dillane designed for their Fall Winter 23 menswear line (last year).
Coincidentally Zayn attended the LV FW24 show. KidSuper was not one of the designers featured.
LVMH-owned Louis Vuitton is the world’s largest luxury house: its sales surged 20 per cent to €20.6 billion in 2022 and are expected to reach €21.9 billion in 2023, according to HSBC estimates. Menswear may not represent the bulk of the business, but the role of men’s artistic director is key given the size of the house, the importance of leather goods, which represent over 70 per cent of the house’s sales according to analysts, and the halo effect of the men’s designer’s creative vision on the overall brand’s desirability.
LVMH (Louis Vuitton-Moët-Hennessy) also owns Bulgari, Guerlain, Tiffany & Co, Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Krug, Dom Pérignon, Maison Ruinart, Le Bon Marché, Séphora, Christian Dior, Fendi, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney, Loewe, Loro Piana, Kenzo, Celine, Princess Yachts, TAG Heuer, Les Echos-Le Parisien Group, and the wine estate Château d'Yquem.
So it’s a huge company and it dominates the fashion industry.
The draw for an autodidact designer like KidSuper is pretty easy to see. And Dillane’s inspiration for Louis Tomlinson, kid from Donny, is also obvious.

61st Batch of Fics: 3rd Fill
Hanzo/Cassidy – Minotaur AU – Part 39 – plot – Hanzo and Cassidy need to leave their prison... but of course things don't go as smoothly as hoped.
---
Hanzo is only advancing slowly; he has to account for the concussion dulling his senses and the fact that Kenzo’s estate is damnably large. He wonders briefly how he could have gotten all the money but really… it is no wonder. Who knew how long his Uncle had been going behind Sojiro’s back, slipping money into his own pocket without his brother noticing.
It feels surreal to think that Sojiro has not noticed any of it. He wonders if his father had known but had turned a blind eye, though that does not sit right with the image he has of the hardened yakuza leader.
It does not matter now. What matters is that he find supplies with which to treat Cole’s wounds until Genji gets here. He can hear footsteps approaching down the hallway and ducks behind a large plant, his heart racing for but a few seconds before it slows down into a dull throb as instincts take over. Regulating his breathing, Hanzo waits until a maid moves past.
He briefly entertains the thought of grabbing her and making her tell him where the first aid supplies are, but the staff of the house is not to blame and he rather not take any unnecessary risks. He would have to incapacitate her, after all.
The estate seems unduly complicated and labyrinthine for his swollen brain. He moves in what feels like circles, peering carefully into rooms and trying to figure out where to go. In his mind, a clock is ticking down the time Cole has to live; like every wasted second is one more nail in the coffin.
When he finally finds the supplies in a cupboard of the kitchen, he exhales roughly. The back of his neck keeps prickling, telling him that there certainly will be cooks or maids soon entering the place and that he should not be dawdling, so he grabs the case and hurries out once more.
However, the estate is no longer as quiet as he left it minutes earlier. Standing in the hallway, he can pick up the sounds of a commotion- No… an altercation.
He tries to run toward the sound but he nearly stumbles over his own two feet. His head is pounding harder with the blood thrumming through his veins. He falters, having to brace himself against a nearby wall while clutching the first aid kit under his arm.
The sounds are unmistakable now: fighting. Genji is here. Hanzo would never have thought that he would be so pitifully thankful to have his brother close by. He would not have thought him capable of any real action but… it seems when push came to shove, Genji was able to ‘haul ass’, as they said.
Hanzo can hear steps coming closer; from the sound of it at least five men that are running toward the noise of the fighting. Or… hurrying away? His brain is throbbing. It feels too large for his skull and the nausea has him nearly doubling over. The sound is coming closer; they are sure to find him any moment now, which would spell his immediate death – yet he can not make his feet move. His knees are wobbling. All he can do, it seems, is clutch the first aid kit to his side as if it were a dear, stuffed animal. It is the key to keeping Cole alive.
He grabs his gun and pulls it out from his belt, pointing it toward the corner where the sound of the men coming closer is near deafening now. His arm wavers for a moment but when the first head turns the corner, it becomes absolutely steady.
Hanzo finds himself on the receiving end of a gun that got drawn before his swollen brain could even register the movement of the other man. A second later the other gun is lowered and his brother hastily comes toward him, surrounded by five of their men who turn their backs to them and keep an eye on the outside.
Genji’s face is tight and serious. Hanzo doesn’t think he’s ever seen him like that. He grabs him by the shoulder and pushes him into an upright position against the wall; not aggressively so, but the sudden shift in altitude makes Hanzo’s head spin even so.
Genji speaks but his voice is all garbled. Hanzo blinks at him a few times, watching as Genji’s face pulls into a mask of concern as he steps a bit closer and says again more slowly: “What do you need me to do?”
He taps his fingers against the first aid kit, replying: “We need to get back to Cole. Give him medical attention. Have… have a transport come up. He needs to get out of here; severely wounded-”
Genji turns his head away while his hands remain steady and calm on Hanzo’s shoulders, keeping him upright. “You heard him.”
“Sir,” one of the guards replies and pulls out a small phone.
Another speaks up: “We should not remain stationary for longer.”
Genji grabs Hanzo by the bicep and pulls him away from the wall.
“You heard the man, Hanzo. Where do we need to go?”
He’s thankful that there aren’t any more questions for now, though Genji manhandling him does have his nausea flaring up. He peers around them, a second of panic that he might have gotten lost halting him in his tracks before he shakes himself out of it and points down the hallway.
Genji pushes him ahead like a hostage, his fingers a steel tight band around Hanzo’s bicep. They surely will leave dark bruises but it’s the only way to move with any kind of speed as they make their way through Kenzo’s estate.
“Have you told Father?” he gets out with a pressed voice, trying not to slow them down by vomiting.
“There was no time. I had one of the maids go to tell him that I’d be out to the museum, so… he probably got the gist.”
Hanzo snorts. Two armed men suddenly slide out of a side door but before he could react, they already slide to the floor with holes in their skulls; they haven’t slowed them down.
“Do you think Father knows…?” Genji asks haltingly.
The conversation is good… it gives Hanzo enough stimulation and distraction to feel more steady on his own two feet. The nausea recedes somewhat and he is a bit more alert as he peers around.
“About Uncle? I do not know. They are brothers… but it never seemed to me like they were particularly close to each other.”
Genji replies with a cheeky grin in his voice: “Not like us, you mean?”
Hanzo does not answer; not because he can’t but because they are stopped in their tracks by Uncle Kenzo coming into view as they turn a corner. He is alone, standing in the middle of the short hallway leading down into the underground cells he has on his estate. He has his hands hidden behind his back and a belittling expression on his face.
Someone has drawn a gun, the arm stretched over Hanzo’s shoulder, pointing at his Uncle’s head but the moment they recognize who it is, the arm is gone again.
“How nice of my nephews to finally visit me after all these years! And how sad that it should be under these circumstances.”
Hanzo doesn’t take his eyes off of Kenzo, pushing the first aid kit into Genji’s arms.
“Go through that door behind him. Cole is in one of the cells downstairs. Take your men.”
Genji pauses for a moment but he takes the first aid kit without arguing and clicks his tongue, the men following him as they calmly file left and right of Hanzo. Kenzo does not disturb them as they move past him, neither does he takes his eyes off of Hanzo.

L' hotel Romazzino in Costa Smeralda entra nel gruppo Belmond Hotel
Tumblr media
