I feel like being homeschooled though, there's usually a lot more pressure with grades and going to college and being this very very book smart, know everything kind of person. OR it's very possibe I'm just stereotyping because a lot of the families I know that are homeschooled are huge on that sort of thing, but I also know there are tons of public schoolers that go through that as well. But it is really nice to be able to do things in the middle of the day like going out and taking breaks and stuff like that. I sometimes wonder what it's like in school and how I would manage.

“Yeonjun, what about her?” You asked, you pointed in the direction of a girl that was his age.

“What about her?” He asked, his attention fully on you, not even sparing a look at the girl you just pointed at.

You looked back at Yeonjun and placed your fingers on his chin to force him to look at her, “She seems pretty. You should go on a date with her, don’t you think?” You suggested.

“No.”

“What?! You can’t be single forever!” You slightly pouted at him while whining, worried that your bestfriend doesn’t pull. “Even I had a boyfriend.” You said.

But that’s not what he cared about. He didn't care about the girl that you showed him or your ex. He cared about the way your arm was tangled with his, the way your face slightly rested against his shoulder, he cared about you.

“Yeon.” You stood up, looking down at him. “You cannot be single forever. Are you seriously going to die alone? You won’t even have children! I won’t ever become the cool aunt, Jun!” You expressed your worry in which Yeonjun giggled.

“Are you seriously worried about not becoming the cool aunt?” He took your hands in his and gently swung them from left to right.

“Well yeah!”

“Fine, I'll date–” Before he even finished the sentence you jumped in joy and hugged Yeonjun, basically sitting on him.

“Okay tell me who! I’ll set you up with anyone.” You looked at him, waiting for an answer, but what you didn’t realize was that his arm was slowly going around your waist, bringing you closer as if you weren’t already sitting on his lap.

“You.” He smiled softly, his eyes filled with pure adoration.

“What?” You couldn’t register what he had said.

“I wanna go on a date with you.” He shrugged, talking about it like it was just a normal thing.

“Why?”

“Cause I like you.”

You tried to stand up once you realized how close you both were and that Yeonjun saw you in a different light.

“What? You can’t like me!” You said, struggling from his grasp and simultaneously processing what he just told you.

“What? I can’t love now?” Yeonjun questioned.

“Love?” 

You stopped attempting to get away from his grasp to focus entirely on what he had said. It was like the world had stopped just for you two. It felt truly timeless.

“Yeah.” He softly said.

You stopped for a moment, your thoughts completely being the boy whose lap you were sitting on. 

“Fine.” You came to a conclusion, “Take me on a date and I may give you a chance.”

i decided to check out your account and think of what i can write and with who..soo i really hope you will like it!! <3

“Jun? Where are you? '' You looked around trying to spot the boy in the pool of people in the airport hall. “Sorry Y/n, I’m almost here! The traffic was so heavy and-” he didn’t finish the sentence as you interrupted him, “Just say that you overslept and that’s it.” you heard the boy’s sigh on the other side. “Yeah..I am. You know me so well, I hate it” He chuckled and a small smile adorned your face too. “Yeah, hurry up, sleepy head! I can’t wait here for eternity.” and you hung up.

You just landed back in your homeland in South Korea after four years of studying abroad. Yeonjun is your one and only friend that you managed to still keep in touch with through all those years, he also came to you a few times so you won’t feel so lonely. Once you graduated you had two choices to get back to Korea or continue with your life here, it was a very hard decision because you received a few really good job offers in this city. You did ask your family and Yeonjun for advice on what you should do, but their only answer was “Do what you think is better for you.” so after a bit, you decided to fly back. Once you told Yeonjun the news he was so happy that you almost went deaf, the boy also offered to take you from the airport and stay at his place for a while until you find yourself an apartment.

You sat on your suitcase for what felt like an eternity but actually, only ten minutes went by since your call. Suddenly a pair of hands closed your eyes and you jerked out of surprise until you heard a familiar laugh behind your back. “Choi Yeonjun! "You caught his hands in yours and turned to face him. “Aww you’re still the cutest” the boy cooed and engulfed you in a warm hug “Welcome home bae.” you hugged him back, you missed him a lot. “Well, let’s get you home so you can get some rest, yeah?” and you nodded with a wide smile as the boy took your luggage.

You sat in the kitchen while Yeonjun tried to cook something for you to eat. “Y/n, what do you think about the welcoming party tomorrow?” he glanced at you over the shoulder to catch your reaction. “Party?” not that you are against it, but the problem is that you only kept in contact with Yeonjun only through these long four years. “I don’t know..I have no friends here except for you” You pout and shift your gaze to the tabletop. “Ah, don’t worry about it! I have lots of friends that I want to introduce you to. Of course only if you are okay with it!” he finished cooking and served the plate before you. “It would be really nice Jun, thank you!” you smiled looking at him and the boy returned the smile as both of you began eating and discussing different things from your lives.

The next day you helped the boy prepare everything for the party, it was quite easy as he already had most of the things at home. By late evening everything was done and some of Yeonjun’s friends started to appear at the front doors. At first, you felt so awkward because there were a lot of unfamiliar people and Yeonjun was nowhere to be seen, so you stood quietly until he appeared in your field of vision. “Yeonjun? Will you introduce your friends to me? I feel kinda awkward, I don’t know anyone in here” you pouted looking at your friend. “Oh yeah sure! I’m sorry for abandoning you. Have some things to finish. Let’s go to my closest friends whom you will definitely see frequently” The boy led you to the group of boys that stood in the farthest corner of the room. You actually got so involved in the conversation with the boys that after some time you had to excuse yourself to go to the kitchen and take something to drink because you felt your throat getting dryer with every minute.

As you turned in the kitchen direction you felt as if someone was glaring at you, you turned your head a bit and you saw him. You don’t know what he is doing here? Did Yeonjun call him too or did he come here with one of his friends? And if it was Yeonjun who asked him to come then why? He should remember how yours and his ways parted back then 4 years ago. Probably Yeonjun will never forget how you came to his apartment with smudged makeup and red puffy eyes from crying all the way here. How he couldn’t calm you down for half of the night, holding you in his arms and patting your back softly until you were knocked out after so much crying. You diverted your eyes from the boy and decided to go to the kitchen as quickly as possible until he thought of following you. 

At first, you wanted to take a bottle of water but after you saw his face you just took a beer with no hesitation. You need alcohol in your veins then maybe you will forget what’s happened a few minutes prior. Suddenly this amount of people around felt so uncomfortable and you headed straight to the balcony, maybe some fresh air will help you too.

You looked at the dark night sky, unfortunately, you can’t see any stars due to the bright city lights but it’s still comfortable standing here. It was comfortable until you felt the presence of someone behind you. You slowly turned your head and saw the last person you wanted to see here. “What do you want from me?” this comes out a bit more roughly than you want but you care less. You heard him clearing his throat and walking to you quietly. “Nothing much just wanted to greet you. Is it forbidden?” his voice was quiet as if he tried not to scare you away. “You greeted now? Then you can go,” you said sternly not even sparing a single glance at the boy.

“What if I want to stay here too?” he asked out of pure curiosity. “Ok, then I will be the one who leaves.” you turned on your heels in the direction of the door, but a hand on your wrist stopped you. “Please..stay. I wanna talk to you,” you barely heard the words he almost whispered, however, you turned your head and looked him in the eyes. “Wooyoung, you know that there is nothing to talk about. Everything ended four years ago, you made your decision and there is nothing to discuss anymore.” you look at each other with different emotions in your eyes. You feel something that seems like regret seeping through his gaze. “Listen..I know that what I said to you that day was a mistake, this is something I shouldn’t say to you and I was a coward..I was so scared that we won’t work out with long-distance relationships” Wooyoung tried to explain his past self.

You sighed, “Thank you for this, but I actually don’t need your explanations, okay? You didn’t even give it a try! How can you be so sure that it won’t work?” the longer you talk to him the more you want to run away to some secluded place and cry your eyes out. It feels like he slowly ripped the bandaid from the old wound, you buried your feelings for him deep down in your soul, you locked them inside being sure as hell that you will never ever remember them and feel them again. Now as you stand in front of him, with his hand around your wrist you feel like you can give in at any second. “I know, I should’ve at least given it a try. I’m sorry Y/n, I really am. And I missed you…so much. I know that you are probably over it and all, but I feel like I’m still holding onto the past..onto us.” he lowered his head too scared to look you in the eyes.

He feels like the dumbest person in the world who still can’t move on and live his life without thinking about a certain girl he loved for a few years with all his heart until one day he ruined her heart because of his fears. “I don’t know if I can ask you for this, but I want one more chance, please. I promise you that I won’t make this mistake again, just please, Y/n” You felt the pang in your heart as the boy pleaded. Your heart told you to forget everything and give him a chance, try it from scratch, but your head told you to think about it rationally and not listen to his sweet words, what if he hurt you again, what would you do? You contemplated what decision will be right for you, it’s so hard. You sighed again “Wooyoung…I don’t know. Maybe we can try it again, but now I’m the one who is scared. What if you hurt me again? This will be a hundred times more painful than before…” you diverted your gaze to the night sky, holding the tears that suddenly appeared in your eyes.

Wooyoung tugged your arm lightly to bring your attention back to him “I promise you…no I swear to you with everything I have that we will make it, I will care for you better, Y/n. Just one last chance…” you connected your gaze with his, and closed your eyes. “Fine, but you don’t have a single chance for a mistake.” he nodded to you, and you can see his face lit up at your words. “Then..I’m gonna leave you for now I guess? See you around.” You are left alone on the balcony, with lots of thoughts and questions in your head and the main one is did you make the right decision? You are not sure of it, but life will show you probably. You lean onto the railing, your eyes wandering around the night city view. You should think of how to deliver this information to Yeonjun. Will he murder you for this, or will be happy for you? You chuckled at the thought of your best friend, well, you will see when this happens.

Hi there - I know this is your private blog and I've been submitting tickets with support for going on a year with no joy. Help me Obi-Wan, etc etc.

I typically browse tumblr on my iphone using DuckDuckGo browser app. Whenever anyone links a spotify playlist in their post, I automatically get redirected to the spotify website. I can't scroll past that post, and I have to hit the back-button to get back to tumblr, so I know I've left the hellsite (beloved).

This essentially makes it impossible for me to scroll my dash. It doesn't happen on desktop (mac OS 13.3.1, firefox) and I'm resistant to downloading the app on my phone. Am I the only person on tumblr who this happens to? Alternately am I the only one using DuckDuckGo like this? Support has been closing my tickets without resolving the issue, and I think they might be stuffing cotton in their ears to avoid answering my desperate pleas for help. Anyways, any insights you have would be much appreciated.

i didn't even know duckduckgo had a browser, so maybe you are the only one! i have no idea.

i'd suggest using tumblr on your iPhone using the built-in Safari app, or Firefox mobile, or Brave, and see if the same thing happens. i use tumblr all day, every day, with Brave on my iPhone, and i've never had an issue like you're describing, and i see plenty of Spotify embeds. that doesn't mean it's not a real issue, but you have to start eliminating variables and trying alternatives to isolate the problem. it's perfectly possible the duckduckgo browser is doing something odd here, unintentionally, and the problem is actually with their app.

hehe hmmm i don’t rlly have a fave trope besides protective characters and fantasy!!! i love it when the ml just comes up and defends the reader and like, pushes them back and steps in front of them and uses a deep voice (like felix from stray kids cuz he has a GREAT voice) and then the bad guy goes and then he turns around and looks at the reader and IT GETS ME EVERY TIME IM NOT KIDDING!!

I also don’t like bully x victim fics. there’s also a lot of bullying in the philippines (where my fam is from) and then i experienced it pretty bad too. it’s just usually upsetting to read and i can’t forgive any of their excuses in fiction, it just feels disingenuous

Vmware esxi 6.7 the system has found a problem on your machine failed to decompress s.v00

Is the package extraction location the System Swap location? Now since his solution was to adjust the system swap location, it begs the question. The main thing mentioned by the blogger is “The problem is caused by ESXi not having enough free space available to extract the installation packages.” but failed to specify where that exactly is, and the event log didn’t specify that either. Lookup up the error about not being able to stage the file I found this one blog post which of course mentioned changing the swap location to get past the error… The VMware docs doesn’t seem to describe accurately the difference between these two options. Which if you look on the vCenter Web UI on a ESXi hosts there are two options available: VM – Swap, and System Swap. However, researching this even more lots of posts on reddit mentioned the swap file for VM’s being on their VM directories, so if using a shared datastore they will reside there, and I shouldn’t see issues around swap usage at all at the host level.

Swap Location: VMware Doc 1 (Configure), VMware Doc2 (About), Tech Blogger Who seem to regurgitate the exact about page from VMware.

Scratch Log: VMware KB Tech Blogger 1 Tech Blogger 2.

However, not many source specify changing the system swap location. So couple things to note here, first the ESXi image is installed on a USB/SD Card style setup as such it should be well know to define the persistent log location, as well as the scratch location. It just hasn’t fully flooded /tmp just yet. However I feel maybe there’s a bit of the known HPE bug as mentioned the last time this happened. Huh, Now note this host was installed running the official VMware Image provided by HPE for this exact hardware supported by the VMware HCL. OK I guess… moving on… the very next error event was: Could not stage image profile '(Updated) HPE-ESXi-Image': ('VMware_bootbank_vmware-fdm_7.0.2-18455184', ' No space left on device') This seemed a bit weird but I could find any info other than what’s usuallly a very Microsoft type answer of “you can just ignore it” or “ usually this is not an issue, just it says vCenter saying it is connecting to esxi host and installing it’s agent” Which was in the log right after this event of attempting to install a base ESXi image? Installing image profile '(Updated) HPE-ESXi-Image' with acceptance level checking disabled As a result, the file /tmp/img-stg/data/vmware_f.v00 could not be written Which showed only 90% full, which was still pretty high, which might have explained the one log event that I did see about it: The ramdisk 'tmp' is full. Un like the last time this happened, the event log wasn’t as blatant (flooded) complaining about the /tmp being full. This time after updating again a host in the cluster had the error message. there is no such thing in KFLIXNET as the expiration of membership; once you apply, only you or an admin can terminate the membership for specific reasons.
